Good Bluetooth headset for Tilt

I've read plenty of threads on here about the bluethooth issue with the tilt/kaiser. I have tried a few bluetooth headsets, but they are not very good at all.. Please give feedback on the models you've used and if is good or not

I think the Aliph Jawbone is the best by far. Noise cancellation technology that originated in Department of Defense Advanced Research Projects. I have conversations while I'm driving and the other party has no idea that I'm on a cell phone.
Jawbone has received topnotch ratings in every review I've seen.
I absolutely love the motorola s9!
Jabra bt8010 is very good, but volume is low like others
I also recommend the BT8010 -- but wait until the weekend, as Fry's has had half-price weekend deals on the headset a couple times over the last month or so.
If you have Money and you like Cristal Clear Sound ... buy Sony DR-BT50. Its the only Bluetooth Headset with a Semi Profisional DA Converter. It works with 24bit and you hear the different!!!! 17 hours runtime is the next point.

Concur...This is what I use and it works great!
I have the jabra BT620S stereo bluetooth headset...just got it and paired it up this morning...seems to work great, volume can get decent but not as loud as my wired sennheiser, hopefully i can find a bluetooth hack to boost it somehow
I use the S9 and they work great for me. I have a friend that can't stand them, I think it is pretty hit or miss on how they fit your head. Some people love em but I htink if you have average size head you are fine, too big or too small and they don't fit very comfortable.
The battery life on them is fine, I use em a few hours a day and I plug it in once a week with no problems.
The sounds quality is good and volume is ok but not as loud as wired.
the jawbone, is it stero? the one I glanced at only was bluetooth headpeice not a headset. did I find the wrong one?
Thanks for the input so far guys... But I'm looking for more of call volume and being able to hear nice and loud.. I need this more for work and really am not using it for music... I too heard the Jawbone was suppose to be good but the Tilt is bluetooth2.0 and the jawbone only supports 1.2 or something like that.
for some weeks i use this

and i am very very happy
excellent quality in music listening
good fm receiver
more than 9 hours battery and bl handsfree in one pack
S9 Is great, just bought a Jawbone...charging now
Love my Jawbone.
I have had very bad luck with the Jawbone. They seem quite delicate. I had one fail and a friend also had his fail. In addition, they are terrible in the wind. The other party cannot hear you at all if there is any wind, so use outside is limited at best. If you will only be using it inside, then the Jawbone is OK.
I recently got a BlueAnt Z9. It also has good noise cancellation technology, seems more robust, gets plenty loud even with tht Tilt and does not have big wind problems. Also, BlueAnt is continuing to refine the firmware and provides free update.

I use Plantronics Discovery 665 and it is great. AudioQuality is absolutely amazing. the best I've had so far. For stereo I use Plantronics 590E witch is also very good, but gives a little to much bass i think. That can be fixed by using PocketPlayer 3.51 witch by the way is the best musicplayer I've ever used on a pocketPC.
Just my two cents anyway

Yes I'm just using this inside with no wind.. I need one with the volume loud enough.. I just got the Jabra bt 8040 and the volume is so low... I will be returning this.. So the jawbone works...? I heard that the jawbone is only bluetooth 1.2 or somehting like that and the Tilt supports bluetooth 2.0.. I just hate having to try out a bunch of different headsets and returning them for another... I use it quite a bit for work, so need one with LOUD volume
BlueAnt Z9
I have a few headset's that I've tried with the Kaiser (running XDA V1.2 w/volume patches). I know I have more in boxes, but these are the ones I could find.
I purchased a BlueAnt Z9 because it runs BT V2.0 and it fits my ear better than the Nokia BH-900. IMHO the Z9 is clearly the better headset for volume on the Kaiser It's a bit tinny to listen to, but I can get the volume very loud with this headset.
I have tried the following 5 headsets:
Nokia BH-900, Wireless - Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, good volume and no cutouts
JawBone, Wireless - Bluetooth 1.2, low volume and background hiss
Motorola HS850, wireless - Bluetooth 1.2, low volume w/hiss
BlueAnt Z9, Wireless - Bluetooth 2.0, good volume, no cutouts
Sony HBH-300, Wireless - Bluetooth 1.1, low volume
My limited experience with headsets seems to show that BT 2.0 headsets function better with the Kaiser the BT 1.x headsets.
Anyone else find this to be true?
I've been using the Plantronics 665 for months and it's great. A friend has used his for over a year. It has good noise cancellation, good volume, and it is very light weight.
I use a Jawbone on my Wizard and now my Tilt. It actually has better sound on my Tilt now, and people I talk to have asked me if I got a new headset when I switched to the Tilt.
The Jawbone is better than the Plantronics 510 I had and the old Jabra 320 (I think, older version of what is now the Jabra 500) for me with sound quality.
I do a LOT of conference calls, and am on the phone for sometimes hours dealing with system issues. The Jawbone has been great. I have even walked out of my office and gone downstairs to the kitchen before I started hearing cutting out and realized I had left my phone upstairs (so the range is great with the Tilt).
YMMV, but I recommend the Jawbone with the Tilt based on my experience.
Jawbone automatic gain?
When I first hooked up my jawbone to my 8525 the first thing I did was turn on the vaccuum and was amazed that it actually did ratchet up the volume. Shortly after that, it simply stopped adjusting. Now on the 8925, no change.
Happy with the jawbone, but it certainly doesn't do well with direct wind though.
My last headset I loved was my Bluetrek G2, comfortable beyond belief! Did fairly well in the wind as well...

I'm finding that there's no phone call audio, either bluetooth or speakerphone, available when in the cradle. Therefore, it's kind of useless. Bluetooth turns on but there's no voice audio.
Anyone else tried this item?
I was thinking of trying that out... Disappointed to hear it doesn't work. Does ANY audio come out of the speaker?
Yes, lots of audio is available going out. Works great with my GPS however there's a slight hum. It is pretty loud. It's great for my Exchange mail. On the downside it doesn't have a vol control, you have to use the vogue volume control. Also, it's a bit tight on the phone so when you get a call you have to take it out of the cradle and it's difficult to do. Nothing like the slick cradles Seideo sells.

Headset issues

Hey guys,
I just got my headset in the post and after figuring out how to make it actually work to some degree I'm having some issues that persist and I am hoping some of you may be able to help me out
Firstly, the headset is a "Plantronics Gamecon 777 5.1" headset/mic combo thing and I'm running Windows 7.
As the name suggests, it's a 5.1 system, yet hardware and sound in control panel only detects stereo. It's a USB headset with 2 cables going into a dolby sound card, which has the male usb part.
Furthermore, when I attempt to use sound enhancements such as bass boost in control panel sound stops coming from the headset entirely for reasons I do not know.
If you could assist me with either issue I'd greatly appreciate it
Regards,
Chris

Error while using headphone

I've recently purchased a lovely headset from XiaoMi for my Huawei P20Pro.
It's Mi ANC & Type C In-Ear Earphones. Model: JZEJ01JY.
It has lovely audio and works fine with most of the features except...
When I made calls, the headphone will not hear any sound at all. no dial tone, not even when someone picked up the phone on the other end.
I noticed a quick fix for this error is to turn on the handsfree mode when you made the call; after you hear the sound from the handsfree mode, turn off the hands-free, then the sound will start coming in through the headset.
Another option is to wait until you hear the dial tone then only plugged in the headset.
It is not quite ideal considering the hassle of having to do so.
The error was so niched that I could not find generic help online at the moment.
Anyone shares the same pain or could provide some help here? Thanks!
Sounds like a compatibility issue. Use the stock earphones and check of the problem also persists.
Same problem with stock headset
Hi, same issue with the original headset that came with the P20 phone. Same clumsy solution. Have you solved it?...
