Haven't used PowerAmp in a while, but as far as I can remember, you have to disable the optimizations / mods that are built-in to PowerAmp

It's been a while buddy..i believe it there along with the EQ settings and probably advanced options. Sorry, its been a long while, I use Spotify nowadays, saves me from storage issues.
There's a tutorial somewhere, you can search the forums or Google.

go to settings > audio > output > openSL ES (If you're using OpenSL ES) > tap on cogwheel icon in front of wired headset / aux > tick no DVC (disable direct volume control)

Yes, there is a way to disable Haptic Feedback on this handset.
Go to Settings > Sound > and Uncheck 'Vibrate Feedback'.
Hope this helps.

[Q] Disable headphone helper

When I plug in my headphones you get the headphone helper in the status bar. Is there a way to disable this or change it?
I use play music only and it's not even one of the options.

This little bar was driving me nuts too. You can turn this off by going to Settings --> Notification Panel --> Recommended Apps--> Turn Off

Thank you I will try that. Why did the volume change so drastically like that?

Most likely they made changes to mixer_paths xml, with the pie update. If what i suggested above doesn't work, you can always root your phone and re change the mixer_paths xml to re-config the max value of the speakers.

Per app hide or show notch Oneplus 6

I need help creating a task that will hide the notch area when a specific app is open and then show the notch area when the app is closed.
Thank you!

I can't find the audio tuner option, and I tried to find it.
I need Tasker to tap here when I open the music player so the sound profile is enabled.
Thanks

Switch output sound between phone and Bluetooth

There used to be option to switch between audio output - phone and Bluetooth. It's not there anymore. It was in notification bar, after swipe down. How can I switch output now?
You need Smartthings for this.
If it's already installed try to remove cache and data of this app.

Open the smart things app, oven the settings (☰ on the left, then the ⚙). Check if "Smartthings Panel" is enabled (first entry).

Yes it's enabled. It does show in notification bar. But how do I switch from bluetooth to phone (when in music or call)?

I attached a screenshot of the Smartthings bar. It's in German, but it should be clear.
You need to tap on "Output" (or similar) and choose between BT device or smartphone.
It wasn't showing up yesterday, not sure why, but it works today, thank you
