In the nav bar itself, at the left there is a little dot, double tap it to make it solid looking, and the nav bar remains, double tapp to toggle it, when the dot is hollow, the nav bar auto hides

Thank you will try it.

[Q] Loss of menu buttons?

Every now and then I keep getting no response when trying to nagivate the screen as the HOME, BACK and BOOKMARK buttons are no longer on the screen leaving me to restart the kindle.
Anyone experience this and know how to fix?
Sorry, it's not the menu buttons its the option buttons that appear at the bottom.
The only bypass has been to install an app called fullscreen
I've heard that happening because Gmail was installed. Not sure though

No that's the notification bar gmail affects,
Did you freeze some stuff by chance? Try going into the kfhd 7 general thread that deals with the bottom bar they've made some modded ones, perhaps yours just got corrupted

[Q] sense based rom full screen (no status bar)

Hi. Does anybody know how to make status bar hidden while on action launcher using Sentinel rom?
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
There is a Xposed module called app settings, which also have a full screen option per app
Thank you! Only downside is that when full screen mode is enabled, you can't access the quick settings or notification shade with shortcuts using pie. It will do until pie mode is made for my rom!

Don't know exactly what you mean or which pie app you use. But with LMT pie, you can set pie or swipe commands for quick settings or accessing the notificationbar as far as I know.
Yes this is true, but when the status bar is hidden by the xposed module, the settings and notification shade don't come down until I open an app that doesn't have the status bar hidden. If that makes sense? Haha

Tried it. The full screen app seems to force itself on top, so when you set a swip command for the statusbar it does come down, but because the full screen app forces itself on top it's behind the app. When you close the app it's there. That's some kind of funny

pull the drop down menu and see if you have the sound toggle button on silent, put it on sound if so.
That fixed it! Thanks!

Nav bar buttons

Hi.
Does anybody know, is it possible to change navigation bar buttons gap.
I mean, buttons on navigation bar are really close to eachother and I'd like to make them wider...

Fullscreen immersive still work?

Hi, I'm still on android 9 ui1 and I can't find any info on whether fullscreen immersive mode works on 10 ui 2. Could someone check for me.
I use fullscreen mode exclusively, and if needed turn it on/off with the Bixby button using bxactions.
This goes hand in hand with using gestures, so I have the whole screen available with no bars at the top or bottom.
When I tested the beta, it was very buggy, and didn't work correctly, so gave up, wiped the phone and reinstalled 9 ui 1.
Thanks
I would gladly test if I could find this full screen immersive mode. I have an U1 variant on AT&T. The update just happened last night even tho i had postponed it. So if you dont want it be careful, i got a 2 day warning and blam.

Thanks for looking, I'm not sure if there is a specific toggle as standard, but there is a fullscreen tab under display settings.
I use bxactions to toggle fullscreen with the Bixby button for easy use.
Thanks
I can hide the nav buttons and it works, but have yet to find a notification bar hide. The menus have changed some. Also still looking for the screenshot button I used to have.

Screen shot is vol down and power together on my note 9.
On your note 9 swipe down the notification bar and search for smart capture

How are you hiding your nav bar buttons? There isn't an option for me in settings

I thought you meant hide, not change to gestures which still shows on the screen.

Shows nothing at bottom of screen. It does change the motion/gesture that you swipe.
