Three bugs,
soft keyboard not showing up, governor pegasusq faulty, settings fc once after boot. Same bugs as Lineage. Please switch governor to ondemand. Well, working on it. If i've time i'll fix these issues.

First should we use the 2.8.7.0 TWRP Recovery from Lirakoa or the last one from DesTroy
The gapps aren't 64 just arm 7.1.2

I don't think that the TWRP version is important. I've used 2.8.7.0 to flash it. Anyway, use newest will work for sure too. Gapps to flash are for sure just ARM, not ARM64.

Followed the flash instructions, stuck in a bootloop and cannot get to Recovery again. Hrmmm.
Edit:
Got to Recovery, re-wiped, re-flashed, just watching the boot animation over and over.

Very nice rom you definitely put a lot of work into this the auto-rotate is not working though it stays in land mode other than that is a real good rom keep up the good work this would definitely be one of the best rom for this tablet

Give OmniSwitch a go

Tried the OmniSwitch still it goes a little crazy the pixel now I'm noticing it's not only happening with the recents but other places as well so far looks like and you can clean up the pixel could be a a nice rum really nice work

No one has said anything and it just happens to me, but I can not change the brightness of the screen.

Nice rom just needs to be cleaned up, tweaked

GAPPS installation problem in a gt-n8010.
Hi. Thanks for this ROM. I have a gt-n8010 and I've installed the ROM first successfully. I started for a first time the system and changed the keyboard settings. After that, I went back to recovery to install the gapps (arm 7.1 nano and micro). When the gapps package is being installed TWRP reboots and it doesn't finish the installation.
I have a problem right now because the boot animation is eternally looping without starting.
I have used 2.8.7.0 TWRP Recovery and I have performed a complete wipe (except for the MicroSD) of the system.
Is it possible that the problem is that I'm doing it with a n8010 and not a n8013. I think it's not the issue because the ROM installation seems to work fine. The gapps installation is the issue.
Any help, please?

No idea, i have the N8013. But well, what's about a size issue? Maybe a gapps package that is to large? Stock or full for example. I've used Mini.
Edit:
But if it boots without gapps, ROM is working. Looks to be a TWRP issue.

I am testing this rom right now.
Very smooth so far and everything is working.
After flashing I lost my TWRP recovery, it has been replaced by the CM recovery.
I am trying to flash the TWRP again (tried 3.0.2.0 and the dual recovery) but I can't figure it out.
Any idea?

place twrp.img on sdcard and type in terminal emulator or adb

dd if=/sdcard/twrp.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/FOTAKernel
You will have permanent TWRP in FOTA partition. VOL+ on boot to enter.

I also flashed the suggested black kernel and omg my tablet is running much faster now.
I was thinking about buying a new one because the overall feeling of the apps was very laggy with the official FW for the last past weeks.
But now I am having a very smooth running system and don't think about a new tablet anymore.

I have pollux device so I will try to keep update build for this device

Great job with this rom, with the black kernel I am up to 34000 in Antutu. No problems seen so far. Tried this after the latest Cm nightly made the tablet go into bootloop. Also had problems with random reboots, but not on this.
Will check battery life, which I have not had time to look at yet.

I am facing complete shutdowns or crashes from time to time.
It happens a few times over the day.
Always when the display has been turned off and I try to turn it on.
Then only a hard reset is solving this issue.
Sometimes even all the apps have to be optimized again (the same like when you boot up the firmware for the very first time).
I have to say that I have xposed installed and installed supersu from the play store.
The following xposed modules are being used:
- Android N-ify
- Flat Style Bar Indicators
- Skycast
- YouTube Adaway
- Zoom for instagram
I have no module for energy saving istalled (like greenify or amplify).
Some idea?

So after some problems with latest cm13 nightlys flashed your rom.
My first impression.... Awesome!! Even more customizable and runs very smooth.
Flashed today so can't say about stability and battery.

About Pie control.? I can't get it working. Some hints?

Still happy with the rom. One thing though is that I need to figure out what prevents it from going to deepsleep. When I first installed it, it worked fine but now it never goes down.

Mine is going to deep deep sleep. Green light is flashing when I press power button it doesn't comes on.

A pollux-windy Version based on cm13 >=2016-06-15 would be a dream....

I'm glad to see that some guys are still working in development for this awesome tablet. Thumbs up to all devs behind this ROM. Loved it! Specially the boot animation and a TON of customisation options. I used this ROM for a day and found some bugs.
-The UI keeps crashing sometimes.
-The tablet stop responding (freezes) at times and hard reset is the only way to get out of its frozen state.
I'll keep this ROM on my tablet despite of these issues. Because i just the love the way i can customize each and every "pixel" ( lol kidding) stuff i see on the screen!

-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS-
- For best results have latest firmware already installed. (Build NOF26W)
- Download the latest build
- Recommended - Factory reset and wipe Dalvik/Art Cache
- Flash ROM using TWRP RC1 Recovery
- Flash TWRP RC1.zip again.
- Reboot.
- First boot will take a couple mins.
- Gapps are built into this ROM. That is going to change with future releases.

Anyone get Viper4Android to install correctly?

Says I have to flash the Rogers vendor image. Itbsays Rogers only on google. Advice?

I've only ever flashed PN since rooting my pixel. When I wipe can I leave the data partition with my files? Do I need a vendor img like that other rom? Sorry just new to pixel so I don't want to screw it up.

Wipe cache, system, and data. You don't have to wipe internal storage. Yes you need a vendor image https://www.dropbox.com/s/tnmmxnmplr3ar3f/sailfish_nof26v.img?dl=0 flash TWRP installer right after the ROM or you will lose your recovery.

Ok so flash rom, vendor, twrp

I flashed that vendor image and it still gives me a mismatch error? Yeah for some reason it is calling for a Rogers only vendor image? Is there any problems with flashing this image?
Edit: Went ahead and flashed the Rogers image and all seems to work perfectly.

Yes. You may get the message again. just boot back into recovery and flash it again.

How to root?​There are many ways you can root these builds​1. SuperSU​If you want superSU as your default root then head to the official thread and download latest stable superSU.zip no need to wipe anything. Additional information is provided on the official thread itself.

It's Lone4Subs for substratum,
and I have used dark notification variant.
To achieve the same, you will need to choose the, "CuStoM" overlay for all the respective apps.

Installation Instructions
---If you Update the ROM skip 2,3,4,6,8.
1. Download ROM, Gapps (need newest version) , TWRP recovery.
2. Extract Boot.img from ROM zip.
3. Flash the Boot.img from ROM via fastboot (fastboot flash boot pathTo/boot.img)
4. Flash TWRP Recovery via fastboot (fastboot flash recovery pathTo/recovery.img)
5. Boot into Recovery by using VOLUME UP when Sony logo comes up with pink notification light.
(Orange LED shows Recovery is Loading)
6. Wipe SYSTEM, DATA, DALVIK, CACHE from recovery (Wipe Option).
7. Flash the Rom zip from recovery.
8. Flash Gapps zip from recovery.
9. For D6502 user flash Baseband Patch
10. Reboot.
11. install carrier services apk (if you use gapps)

Dirty flashed on lineage 14.1...smooth so far. Noticed i could only turn on night light in LiveDisplay option.
Turning it on from the Nightlight option wont make any changes. Thanks for the wonderful rom

Maybe TS can mention this in OP? I was already writing a reply to ask this question, when I thought: let's read the previous replies first. But as this topic will grow probably this question is going to be ask a couple of times I think.
Ok, going to flash now, I was waiting for tweaks in this ROM :good::good:
Nice boot screen. Took a while but it got there.
I get the alert that Google play services is not supported. So cannot use any of the Gapps apps. Any advice? Also, there's no keyboard.....

I installed Gapps again, this did the trick. It's all working now.

I just testing this rom and it's so wonderfull! I hope more roms caf based arrive there on z2 community, and can became official! It seems doesn't have any problem...thanks!

@opendata thank you so much for this awesome rom.
I'm attaching the screenshots for some people want to see how this rom looks like.
This rom is super awesome and almost bug free.
I don't know why have you stated the slow charging bug in OP because I am getting 1050 maH approximately in ampere and on a LOS I used to get maximum 950 or 1000 so I don't know why but the slow charging bug is not there for me it's working perfectly fine.
However the only thing I can't find is the multi window option is not there in developer options and I don't know how to activated so if you can please enlighten me. This Rom is almost perfect. Thank you so much.

i already wipe everything. system, dalvik-cache, cache, data, internal storage. still stuck. i dont know why. then it shows system cant be mount (invalid arguments)

Reflash the kernel then, it seems corrupted...
If it still unable to flash, you may need to perform a full restore using flashtool.

Yes, SELinux is enforcing. and Rom is FBE.

Stock Camera is Snap Camera atm, but mb will be replaced by miui cam maybe in future builds.
It`s the official TWRP, without force encryption and 0mb Issue.

ATM the biggest difference is that the official Variant offers Support for OTA.

Yes its 4.4.78 Kernel. I havent tried custom kernels, but it should work

Battery Life is okay, im getting 6-7h SOT. Should be similar to Los, probably a bit lower.
