I've been trying to flash the TMobile newest firmware to my unlocked Verizon Note 8 but for some reason the flash didn't occur. It ends with the code:
all threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
And the installation never starts, is this normal? for VZW phones can i only flash n950U1 firmwares and VZW?

Should be able to...some times you need to perform a factory reset in recovery then back out to main recovery menu and select boot to bootloader then flash using Odin...AP, BL, CP, CSC, and USERDATA...

If no luck..try again from factory binary...in other words follow the switching carrier guide but with updated files...that should clean things up...then at step 25 pick XAA or carrier of choice...

I am trying to root Lollipop on my I537 so I flashed back to KK successfully. Towelroot is successful so I flash LP as instructed using Flashfire but I never got rebooted to download mode. I get stuck on the S4 Active boot screen and the device seems to power down. So I boot to download mode manually and flashed the I537_OC7_Bootloader using odin but still cant get past the Active Boot screen. So I am trying to flash back to KK again. I was able to do this before last night but today I can't seem to get the firmware to flash! Can some one help me?

Ok so I got Odin to flash everything from SGH-I537UCUCNE3_v4.4.2_ATT_ALL and even a pit file i found here. Problem is I get the S4A boot screen and it says booting recovery in blue at the top right but then it dies. Any Ideas? I got Odin to flash by using a USB port on back of my PC on the mobo rather then the front USB ports on the case.
I also do not have access to stock recovery even after a successful NE3 flash with Odin! Have I bricked my device or just soft bricked it?
Anyone?
I tried to update my old phone from 4.4.2 rooted to 5.0.1 and keep the root by having my cousin do it for me. Unfortunately, he used the guide on here for the normal S4 instead of the S4 Active, leaving me with a phone that says "System software not authorized by AT&T has been found on your phone" and "SECURE FAIL: KERNEL" in the corner. Google searches are fruitless. I have tried using this method, but upon starting ODIN I get this fail message and the following:

If anyone could help me make my old phone work again, it would be very appreciated.
Hello everyone need some advice/help.
I have an ATT note 3 running 4.3 and I'm ready to upgrade to something newer due to issues. I'm looking to do 5.1.1 or 6.0 but someone told me 6.0 doesn't support call audio. I tried to download and flash from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/development/rom-unofficial-cyanogenmod-13-0-t3238064 under older versions
but the files do not show up in my Odin version is 3.10.7. I downloaded version cm13.0 20160128. I also downloaded banks dynamic g apps but still see nothing under the download files in odin. Any help is greatly appreciated. I can see the folders but they are all empty or do not contain files that odin recognizes.
So I am even worse off now. I did a factory reset and it wiped everything but it shows my phone is still rooted. It will not connect to play store and wont sync my gmail account though it lets me sign in now. It is also not reading the apps on the sd card. Please help!! It shows 5 gb of data on sd card but no apps.
Ok,
First this is if your note 3 is an AT&T branded device. The boot loader is locked so you can not use a CM 13 ROM. There are only certain workarounds we can do and ROM's to choose from. The highest we can go is OC1 and OC2. This is because we do not have a Kernel to allow us to go higher.
First things first, is to get your phone back to a usable state.
Go to this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2703006
Read it beginning to end, download all the files and then reread the instructions again in the first post. It sounds like you need to start by going back to NC2 and work your way forward. go down to the section that starts like this.
This is from Carl1961, all thanks go to him! He has saved my bacon many times!
UPDATING TO LOLLIPOP AND KEEPING ROOT
FIRST DO THIS
1. You must have Safestrap Recovery working (you can boot to safestrap) If Not go to NC2 Files and Install NC2 Odin Files and get safestrap working.
2. First Do a TWRP Backup if you have not done one.
3. download below files and copy to your SDCARD
"N900A_NL1_Stock_Rooted_Backup" from [How-To] Root N900AUCUDNL1 4.4.4 (12-24-2014) THANKS !!! @muniz_ri and copy to your TWRP backup folder (here is my TWRP Folder TWRP\BACKUPS\0b70b440\N900A_NL1_Stock_Rooted_Backu p
SM-N900A_NL1_Firmware_Recovery-Flashable.zip
N900A_NL1-OC1-KeepRoot_OTA.zip
UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.45.zip THANKS !!! @Chainfire
SM-N900A_N900AUCUEOC1_KERNEL_Recovery-Flashable.zip
1. Boot to safestrap recovery, Press Wipe and slide the slider to ok the wipe.
2. Restore Backup N900A_NL1_Stock_Rooted_Backup This gives us rooted NL1
3. Without leaving Recovery install SM-N900A_NL1_Firmware_Recovery-Flashable.zip This installs the NL1 firmware (or N900A_NL1-OC1-KeepRoot_OTA.zip will fail)
4. Without leaving Recovery install N900A_NL1-OC1-KeepRoot_OTA.zip
5. Without leaving Recovery install UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.45.zip to update SuperSu for Lollipop
6. Without leaving Recovery install SM-N900A_N900AUCUEOC1_KERNEL_Recovery-Flashable.zip to boot to New Lollipop Update.
Well I am trying to revert back to original 4.3 then upgrade and re root but I am getting error messages in odin.

Odin 3.12.1 & lz4 is the issue. Need to use Odin 13.3.1 for newer FWs that use lz4 compression.

13.3?
Oops, haha. 3.13.1
I have an unlocked AT&T Note 9 that is stuck on Android 8.1.0 Patch 11/1/18.
There is higher existing firmware I have found but I am having no luck getting it to update via OTA where it is on MetroPCS now, and smart switch says it is up to date. When I try to update using Odin 3.14 using a couple of different firmware's I get the same error:

Try a computer with USB 2.0 or buy a USB 2.0 port hub.
