I am trying to root Lollipop on my I537 so I flashed back to KK successfully. Towelroot is successful so I flash LP as instructed using Flashfire but I never got rebooted to download mode. I get stuck on the S4 Active boot screen and the device seems to power down. So I boot to download mode manually and flashed the I537_OC7_Bootloader using odin but still cant get past the Active Boot screen. So I am trying to flash back to KK again. I was able to do this before last night but today I can't seem to get the firmware to flash! Can some one help me?

Ok so I got Odin to flash everything from SGH-I537UCUCNE3_v4.4.2_ATT_ALL and even a pit file i found here. Problem is I get the S4A boot screen and it says booting recovery in blue at the top right but then it dies. Any Ideas? I got Odin to flash by using a USB port on back of my PC on the mobo rather then the front USB ports on the case.
I also do not have access to stock recovery even after a successful NE3 flash with Odin! Have I bricked my device or just soft bricked it?
Anyone?
I tried to update my old phone from 4.4.2 rooted to 5.0.1 and keep the root by having my cousin do it for me. Unfortunately, he used the guide on here for the normal S4 instead of the S4 Active, leaving me with a phone that says "System software not authorized by AT&T has been found on your phone" and "SECURE FAIL: KERNEL" in the corner. Google searches are fruitless. I have tried using this method, but upon starting ODIN I get this fail message and the following:

If anyone could help me make my old phone work again, it would be very appreciated.
I've been trying to flash the TMobile newest firmware to my unlocked Verizon Note 8 but for some reason the flash didn't occur. It ends with the code:
all threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
And the installation never starts, is this normal? for VZW phones can i only flash n950U1 firmwares and VZW?

If no luck..try again from factory binary...in other words follow the switching carrier guide but with updated files...that should clean things up...then at step 25 pick XAA or carrier of choice...

Greetings, I'm trying to flash the U1 firmware on my S10 that is currently ATT. I downloaded the drivers, files from iBowToAndroid's post, and used SmartSwitch for back up. I've factory reset prior to going into download mode as well. Here is the output I got from my latest attempt to get this done:

Try Odin that I have attached and make sure that your current firmware on the phone and the one you are trying to flash are from within the same build/month or the firmware you are trying to flash is newer.
Hallo.
Recently I bought note 9, with android 9. I tried to upgrade via software update, but after "registering device" I have "process failed". I tried smart switch, but with no luck. I have launched Odin as an administrator, with different cables, but with no luck. I don't know if bootloader is unlocked (*#*#7378423*#*# gives me nothing)
model SM-N960F
baseband version N960FXXS4CSK2
csc N960FOXM4CSK2
I have tried the following roms
N960FXXU4DSLB
N960FXXS4DTA1
N960FXXS5DTB6
N960FXXU9FVH1
N960FOXM9FVG2
N960FXXSAFWB3
Depends of what I choose I results are similar:

Please help me, I would really like to have android 10.
I would stay on Pie. I have 2 stock N10+'S, one running Pie the newer one is on Q. The Pie variant is far less complex and easier to troubleshoot; Q adds dozens of new small system apps. Pie appears to get better SOT, both devices are optimized.
Q does a few nice tricks like better dark mode but is less functional with some apps like valuable Karma Firewall.
Pie is reasonably secure unless you do stupid things. This load will be 3 yo in June, still running fast and stable with minimal maintenance and no malware in that time.
The N9 doesn't have the speed of the N10+ and using Q may adversely effect performance. I would not expect any performance boost with Q, just the opposite. If the bootloader is upgraded no rollback to Pie will be possible. In my opinion you have more to lose than to gain by upgrading to Q. Both my N10+'s will remain on their factory loaded firmware*.
All that said Pie is still my preferred OS and it has no cpu cycle sucking scoped storage. Good as it gets.
*the N10+ running on Pie had the last updates for that version, the one running on Q is still the factory load version.
