phone is bricked help please

i was planning on flashing a custom rom on my galaxy s6 today but at work i watched a video on how to get twrp recovery, so i downloaded it on to my phone, followed every direction and step using flashify then when i installed twrp and rebooted my phone it got stuck at the boot load screen, i cant even go to recovery mode nor download mode, everytime i hold the power button and volume rockers it just cuts off and boots back to boot loop cuts off boot loop and so on, idk what to do can someone please help
Slow down, take your time. This is not a permi-brick. Just go back, start at step 1, and try again. There is hope. There must be a way to get into recovery.
I'm having the same exact issue, I'm able to get into download mode by holding volume up, home and power buttons. I'm downloading the stock firmware now and I'm going to try to flash it with odin to see if it works.

If you two can't get into download mode for whatever reason get odin to the point it says waiting for phone or connection or whatever it says then let it boot loop a couple times with the phone plugged in (preferably start from a powered off state). This might just have been lg but for some reason I remember odin rebooting my phone into download mode if the program was at that point.
*edit*
I feel like I wasn't clear enough. You want the tar ball loaded and hit start before you plug the phone in. I could be way off but it's worth a try.

Problems installing TWRP in Tab S2 T713

My Tab S2 T713 is currently running the latest stock Samsung rom. I want to install Lineage 15.1
I've downloaded twrp-3.2.1-0-gts28vewifi.img.tar & Odin 3.12.7. I can boot into download mode, flash TWRP with Odin which says success & my tablet reboots normally. When I power down & reboot into recovery TWRP gets over written by the stock recovery.
If I uncheck Auto Reboot in Odin, after flashing success, I'm still in download mode - I've read that I need to boot directly into recovery from download mode - how do I do this?
In download mode pressing home + voldown + power reboots normally. Pressing home + volup + power does nothing
What am I doing wrong?

https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/development/twrp-3-0-2-1-galaxy-tab-s22016-sm-t713-t3390627
Instructions:
Flash with ODIN 3.10.7 in the AP slot.
Put your device in DOWNLOAD mode.
Uncheck Auto reboot.
Load the respective file below into the AP slot and hit start.
After flashing and ODIN reports PASS immediately reboot to recovery by holding POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN.
As soon as the screen goes blank change to VOL UP whilst still holding POWER + HOME.
You should now see TWRP recovery.
Brilliant - thank you. Why they can't have they have that in the Lineage install instructions?
Now running Lineage 15.1 = happy bunny

For the love of god, thank you. This wasn't in the LineageOS instructions. But I still can't install it, it says my bootloader isn't supported (T713XXU1APG1).

Good to hear! Please make sure you give a thumbs up to anyone who helped. It really keeps the community alive and kicking!
I found that I had to do this from completely powered off state:
press home + volume up + power
wait until second "sentence" appears on screen in yellow (the first "sentence" is blue),
Then release all buttons
twrp now boots.
for some reason, my internal and external storage is showing 0 mb. Anyway to fix this?
Try formatting (not just wipe) data.
Should the Galaxy Tab S2 2016 be on TWRP 3.2.1.0 or the new 3.2.3.0 for Linage OS 15?
If so, can't you just flash the update using TWRP on the img file, or is ODIN on the tar needed?
OK, I updated to TWRP 3.2.3 using TWRP Recovery and the img file. Appears to work fine.

Sorry to revisit this issue. I can't get TWRP going on my S2 Tablet. I understand these instructions, but at the end of the ODIN installation there are two possibilities that I can see. If you set the ODIN to automatically reboot then you cannot do the above because it says to do it from completely powered off.
If you don't set ODIN to reboot automatically I can't get the tablet to turn off. I can only get it to boot by holding home+volume down + power. How do I get the tablet to power off before booting??
I am using ODIN 3.14.4 and TWRP-3.7.0 9-0-gts28wifi.img.tar and my stock firmware is NRD90M.T713XXS2BSG1 with Kernel 3.10.84-14953299
Thank you.

[Q] Stuck in bootloop after trying to install a custom ROM, unable to detect the device through ADB/Fastboot [Solved]

Title says it all. But for those that want to know a bit more in detail about what's going on, I tried to install this custom ROM: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-oneui-2-5-twrp-ncx-2-5-for-a71-sm-a715f.4174135/ Clearly I did something wrong (a bit more clarification in that guide would help people not used to rooting an Android device getting through that process easier), so now I want to go to square 1 by installing the stock ROM again. But the thing is, after installing multidisabler through TWRP, the phone is not permanently stuck into a bootloop and now I can't even go into safemode, nor download mode, and I can't enter the recovery mode, the only thing my phone is capable of doing is to restart by itself by holding the volume down and the power buttons at the same time, and now ADB nor Fastboot can't detect my device (the PC does a Samsung device being connected though, so it's not a hardbrick, I guess).
Samsung devices do not use Fastboot. You should restore through Odin instead.
Try the following:
1. Download Odin on your computer, you can get it from here. Extract it into a folder.
2. Download the firmware for your device. Find out your device model first and then look on http://samfw.com, I've downloaded from there a lot in the past, it works great.
3. Extract the firmware, you should get five files: AP, BL, CP, CSC, and HOME_CSC.
4. Make sure your device is powered off, and press power + volume down + bixby. You should be asked to confirm you want to enter download mode, press the volume up button.
5. Plug your device into the computer, then select the files for all the slots. Use CSC, not HOME_CSC for CSC (CSC is for fresh restore, HOME_CSC is for software update).
6. A device should show in the top bar, something like [COM:6]. This means your device is connected. If it isn't there, make sure your device is plugged in and in Download Mode.
7. Click flash. The firmware should start to flash and there should be a progress bar in Download Mode. Once it's finished your device should reboot into the system.

Well, trying to reflash everything through Odin has been a thing I tried to do, but how am I supposed to shutdown a phone that is stuck at the Samsung logo (is there any combination to shutdown a Samsung during the boot process?)? And even after that, how am I supposed to press "power + volume down + bixby" if both the power and bixby buttons are the same buttons?

I tried entering Download Mode hours ago, but to no avail. Even before flashing mutidisabler through TWRP (and thus, the phone was working), I had to use ADB in order to make my phone be able to enter Recovery Mode, since the combo for recovery and download mode just made my phone make a loud noise and restart my phone onto safe mode.
Ok, here's an update, apparently pressing those buttons, makes the screen have the same, but at least Odin recognizes the drive, but now I'm stuck at this error: "Complete(Write) operation failed."
Something's weird here, I'm 99.9% sure I did activate USB debugging for this phone, although that was just before wiping the entire drive before the phone got stuck in this loop.
Fixed. Many thanks to @hainguyenthao for helping me out ^^

I'm sorry to hear that you had trouble installing the ROM and I'm glad you were able to fix it.
I unfortunately can't see a way that I could make the tutorial on how to install the ROM any easier. I'm almost certain I covered all my bases going over the perquisites and how to install the ROM. I also have a Telegram group in that thread so that users can join if they are ever stuck in any of the steps so that either me or other users that have successfully installed the ROM can help people in doubt since I'm not available 100% of the time. If you ever decide to give it a try again, don't be shy, you can always join the group and request for help.

HELP!! Samsung Note 9 - Bricked

Unfortunately I flashed a bad Rom to my note superiorOS rom.
As a result the put is stuck on superiorOS boot logo
I cannot with any of the usual key combos get into recovery mode or display the download mode screen.
I have tried to refresh with odin but although with the superiorOS boot logo it shows as connect to odin it will not get past setupconnection.
Any help would be really great.
Thank you in advance

If you're using Note9 you can try the following:
- Connect the usb cable to your pc
- Make sure you have the drivers installed (one way to do this is installing Samsung Dex for Windows)
- Press and Hold the Volume Down + Bixby button + Power Button
- After around 7 seconds, the phone should enter Download Mode and you can flash again with Odin or others
Another thing you can do if you have TWRP is first enter on Download mode, choose Restart and immediately after press and hold Volume Up Button + Power Button and it should enter Recovery Mode and boot TWRP

Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately I have tried all of those options and none work. My note 9 connects to the PC when I connect it, and shows as connected in Odin however the screen os stuck on the new roms boot logo. When I try and flash firmware through Odin even if I am using the .pit file odin get stuck at setupconnection.

Question Tried Factory Reset from Standard Recovery Screen

Holding Power & Volume Down beginning screen says Bootloader Unlocked Cannot Be trusted and then goes to Android Recovery. Tried to Factory Data reset several times, but keeps coming back to Bootloader Unlocked. I can not even tell if I am over charging or if it is charged at all. Can I get Samsung files from Samsung site to download? Which ones do you think would be best course. I just want it to be factory data reset. HELP! My recovery screen pics are attached.

Why are you holding vol down? Holding vol down and power is the method used to boot to recovery. And once the bootloader is unlocked you will always get the nag screen saying it is unsafe. Ignore it. What happens if you just push the power button WITHOUT pushing vol down?

Oh Sorry, That is the only thing I can get to come up on tablet after Samsung Logo and Bootloader Unlocked. Then just blank screen. So I have trying to find ways to load OS/Firmware back on system since the factory data reset didn't work.

Then you need to boot to download mode, not recovery. Plug the USB cable into a PC and not the tablet. Turn the tablet off. Then, while holding both vol down and vol up, plug the cable into the tablet. You can download the latest firmware using frija.exe. Flash the firmware using Odin on the PC.

I was able to successfully download the firmware and flashed it with odin. The only problem now is odin indicates PASS! in green on PC and seems to be finished, but the odin screen on PC has not closed. The tablet downloading screen remains open with the progress bar all the way at the end. Should I hit exit or reset on odin on PC or alternatively select AutoStart in options?

I don't know. The Odin screen remaining open is normal. But, unless you unchecked the auto-reboot in Odin options, the tablet should have rebooted when it finished flashing. If it doesn't, I guess the only thing you can do is manually reboot the tablet by holding vol down and power for about 7 seconds.

I did uncheck the auto-reboot which the directions I had said to do so. So I just let it sit there for about 6-7 hours plugged into PC. I figured then there was no way it wasn't done installing so i unplugged from PC. After like 5 minutes or so the tablet came on with the beginning screen for setting up tablet. Now I just have to figure how much crap I really need on it. I wish I could get rid of Samsung Flow so I could use the tablet for Fan Duel. Thanks for your help. Have a good weekend.
