Hi I had successfully installed the root and CWM and than installed the [ROM]Clean&Tweaked Rom v3[.2.245][Deodexed&Zipaligned] afterwards I tried to do the CWM and root again and its not working. Any tips? Im at a loss,
I really like the new rom I installed but having the root function in particular would be a bonus.
I am on existenz 2.1.5
I am loosing root access constantly after some days of use, I dont know why I cant reroot by doomlord rooting method everytime pls do suggest me a solution
Flash this on recovery: http://download.chainfire.eu/382/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93.zip
if your already on rooted lollipop be patient..............if you have had problems downgrade to 4.4.2.....THIS IS ONLY IF YOUR ON ROOTED LOLLIPOP NOT IF YOU TOOK OTA TO 5.0
STEP 1.....ON 4.4.2 instal towel root , busybox , safestrap, root your phone with towel root........install busybox......install safestrap................
step2.... reboot to ss.......on stock slot wipe everything but storage......use muniz way to restore backup rooted lollipop.....after restore boot into download mode install oc4 kernal through odin in ap slot........reboot.......
step 3........your now on 5.0.........install nce apk.....thats it nothing else.........flash then reboot...........this will take you to safstrap.......in stock slot wipe everything but storage......install whatever rom your wanting to use............then install the updated flashible oc4 kernal also in ss.............
step 4......reboot then wait, wait,,,,wait.........wait.... it takes a long time so be patient...........your done....
tip: i did not use flashfire for anything but after your running custom rom you can use it for backups and restore on your custom rom
If we're already on rooted lollipop using the method below, does that mean we start at step #3? And if so, what ROMs are compatible to use?

Ok finally got it working and booted to Twisted v4.0 But I have No root when I use Root checker. And when I try to use Viper app, it says it cannot acquire root permission
Edit, after about 5 hours, I have a Infinite Boot Loop. Just boots restarts boots restarts, boots etc...... Are you having this problem?
I read somewhere that ff isn't able to do backups and restores. Is this true? What is the proper way to backup a rom you're using? Thank you for any help.
Wondering if anyone can help me.
I have a HTC desire C 4.0.2 Android that already bootloader unlocked, rooted and have CWM 0.94 installed.
Wanting to install custom FW, there are instructions out there using TRWP. I had CWM installed in the first place coz i was following a site to root the phone and it used CWM...............but because I am more familiar with TRWP, anyway I can install TRWP recovery over the already installed CWM? would CWM allow me to do the same thing?
Thanx.

this is the text which I see when open cwm recovery. . .even when I installed Phil's recovery from rashr recovery tools. . ven Phil's recovery showed same issues. .

If it's boot looping then flash the stock firmware. May be some system partition is corrupted
Tried Everything.
but Flashing Stock Rom solved the problem
What version of SuperSU did you use to root? Using an older version often causes the phone endlessly loop the boot animation. Use the one from the toolkit.
