So here I have my 304k phone, and seeing the nipples on it, I thought there was some use. However, when I place it on a desk, the speaker gets muffled incredibly and I can barely hear anything out of the speaker. Anybody getting this?

I'm sorry... nipples?
You can't hear anything after placing the phone on your desk because the speaker is on the back of the phone. Flip it around and you'll hear just fine.

The little bumps some models have at the bottom of the phone, on the back near the speaker.

Pretty certain they are so the glass isn't in direct contact w/ the surface so it doesn't get easily scratched and not purpose built for the speaker.

I've seen on many websites that the nipples are for raising the glass so the speaker doesn't get muffled, and I'm pretty sure that when the glass isn't in direct contact speakers should be better.
Now I need to hold my phone when I watch YouTube >.<

Did you also notice how small these nubs are. If the intent was for speaker enhancement, I would think they would have made them bigger. I would consider trying to locate a case with a kickstand if you watch YouTube often.
Ummm, lay the phone on the screen so that the speaker doesn't get covered?
And don't say that will scratch the screen! A case or bumper can easily remedy that! If the back speaker bothers you that much, get the HTC One with the front facing speakers!
Ok guys let it go.
Ok guys as it seems that People are still in middle school I renamed the thread.

Shops only sell cases for popular phones, which is basically the SGS3/4 Note 2, and the iPhone.

You use crystal glass table put your phone screen down, then you plug in headphones and stick it with duck tape to very sensitive stereo mic which is plugged to high quality amp and speakers, lay down under the table and enjoy :silly:
Will the nubs rub off over a period of time if I keep my nexus 4 in a tight case?
Sent from my |\|€×u$ 4
I think the nubs are there so the back won't be in direct contact with the surface of anything that may cause a sudden temperature change and break the back glass.
I haven't received my phone yet, so it's just a speculation.

Wow, people amaze me sometimes.
Hi,
Not sure where to post this but here goes.........
Has anyone else noticed a faint Buzz/static at the very end a song or possibly during the quiet moments? I have noticed it when watching netflix as well.
Most people wouldn't notice but if you really listen it's there. I did a google search and it sounds like this May be a wide spread issue with different devices. I have the Canadian version of note 3 (smn900w8) I am finding this so friggin frustrating as I took back the lg g2 for this and don't want to regret swapping it. I did have a note 2 but I didn't notice if it was thee or not.
I'm also trying to find out what dac the North American version is using? Has there been any news?
You are correct and it is on many devices. I suspect this is something to do with the audio driver of the phone because on different ROMs it didn't do that

I think you right. I get the feeling that something needs to be bypassed like they do with certain kernels. I have tried using different players but no luck.
Anyone else able to confirm? Anyone figure out what dac is actually in this thing? Wolfson?
No problem with mine I just tried Netflix, music and everything else. However, the audio is crazy loud on the n3 compared to the n2 .

It used to work fine, here is my set up ...stock NA3 which I have since downgraded to stock mk7 I also downgraded the gear manager and have performed multiple resets nothing seems to help. Is my only hope to send it to Samsung? it works, i just can't hear the bloody thing!

I don't think so though but I guess it's possible. ... It's in for warranty repair at the moment, I will update when I get it back. On a side note I find myself really missing the convenience of staying in touch with the world at the flick of the wrist, after having a smart watch I can't imagine myself ever not owning one.

I think I may go to best buy and mess around with their watches and compare sound levels. See if it's normal to be lower or if mine is just low. I feel they should have included the speaker on the actual strap facing you (opposite the camera).

Not really sure where to post this so I'll try here in accessories.
I've been using s health again since I got my s7 edge and have gotten to like it quite a bit for taking daily health levels.
Has anyone purchased a bluetooth scale or BT blood pressure cuff that works with s health and doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

I don't like that all notifications are combined now. It's very irritating. The phone is also much laggier than before I've noticed. Charges slower. The faulty note 7 was too lazy for a $850 device to begin with, but I hoped they'd fix it. I really don't like the green battery either, but that's not a big deal really.

In my experience it was way less laggy than V1 and fixed most of the issues I had in gaming with poor performance and muddy textures. Plus the fingerprint sensor is really fast now

I updated V1 because I have a V2 on order and had nothing to lose. Since it's the same hardware sans battery, I wanted to see what the update would do.
It was indeed quite laggy until I ran the device maintenance app and rebooted. It seems to be smoother now than before. I do, however, prefer the previous notification pull down.
Has anyone noticed a change in their status notifications?
On my original Note 7 notifications were not "grouped" if I had multiples from the same app (Facebook). Now I have to tap on the group to get them to expand.
I have noticed similar behavior for SMS messages. I no longer get a message preview and I do not have the option to reply from status bar..
I agree!

I received my replacement last night and there is definitely a lag, but nothing like the POS HTC Desire they gave me as a loaner and after charging on the wireless charger all night, it was only at 76%. I also cannot for the life of me find where I can change the alarm ringtone now (the settings does not have that option any longer) which is I why I came here. I did notice some interesting additions though.

If one or both hands are full and you can't touch the screen or fingerprint scanner, how is taking the pen out and using that easier than simply looking at the phone with your face?
