S health accessories - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Accessories

Not really sure where to post this so I'll try here in accessories.
I've been using s health again since I got my s7 edge and have gotten to like it quite a bit for taking daily health levels.
Has anyone purchased a bluetooth scale or BT blood pressure cuff that works with s health and doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

I don't have an S Health one, but I do use my AW Huawei Watch that I use with Google Fit to track my steps and related things.

There is a list of compatible accessories in the app.
Sent from my SM-G935F using XDA-Developers mobile app

I saw that and have been checking them out. I was hoping to run into someone here who has something that works and can five feed back. I looked at the ones listed and I can't tell if they will actually talk to s health or not even after checking out each software pretty closely

Galaxy Gear: Higher Battery Capacity Replacement?

Hi there, I was disassembling my watch to be curious. I found the battery area and I noticed online there are micro batteries around the web. Do you guys think there is a way to get one of those batteries and fit it into the watch and use the ribbons (the wires) that were on the old battery and make them work with the new battery? I'm still trying to look for a good battery only if it is confirmed that one can do this. Thanks if you can help me out!

I'm thinking you've gone deeper into your gear than a lot of us...
Find a battery that fits, has similar voltage output, and let us know how it goes! :fingers-crossed:
for the size of 20mm x 30 mm you will be very lucky to find anything over 315mA
i had a quick search and i found 310mA etc
unless you can modify the case some how i dont think you will find anything

I finished it! All I did was that I got a 350 mAh battery with 3.7 volts. I stripped the wire a little and placed it in the original area where the ribbon used to go, if you want, I can show the battery if you want to switch

It would be really interesting to hear if this replacement gave You more life for the watch ? let us know after few days of use...
The battery life isn't substantially higher, it lasts longer as I can see, but only by a few hours .

You rock! Thanks for putting this together. Any chance you can link the battery you used just in case anyone (myself included) wants to order it and make the update themselves? Not much difference, but as this device gets older it might be worthwhile to swap batteries.
Thanks again for the nice mod!

How has no one noticed the fact that the word "350mah" was written in marker and not printed?

I have successfully replaced the battery before, but be cautious if you do get a gear, only tested on original gear. You have to switch the capacitors, or the battery will just drain, and it needs the same voltage. The LG G Watch I heard was a great device, and with the oneplus, the G watch has full compatibility. I used the gear once with a Droid ultra, I had problems with a few things, and no galaxy store. Good thing I'm back to my Note 3 (for now ☺).
when replacing the battery with the 350mah one, you have to switch a capacitor? you can just connect the two wires to the pads? and what is the battery regulator? I want to try this one

What I am waiting on.
Ordered.
Major reason I went with the Gear was for activity tracking.
I hope the pedometer and especially the heart rate monitor work well.
Also have mine ordered. Have my Sony Smartwatch 2 on ebay as we speak.
I hope they ship early.
With the Play Store anything can happen.
I just cancelled my moto 360 pre order for one of these.
I was worried the moto would look to big on my wrist, and I actually think this looks more gadgety than fashionable. I'm not a fashionable person... I am a geek.
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Free mobile app
Ordered mine on the first day. I am really not bothered about the look of the moto 360 - can't see why there is all the fuss. Fair enough, it's round, but it's very thick and has a large diameter. It does not look like a watch so I can't see why some people are always going on about the jewelery aspect.
I quite look of the the gear live especially in the pictures of it with the black analog watchface. In the pictures it almost looks like a real watch face and I hope it looks as good in real life. Of course, I am slightly concerned about the size of it on my wrist and hope it doesn't look like a small smartphone strapped to my arm but I muse say, it is a very elegant looking thing. I can't wait for the 7th and I think there is a very good chance they will ship before then.
Sold my gear 2 today for $250 and will be so happy to have a smart watch now that doesn't rely on TouchWiz and I can use it with Cyanogenmod, so long TouchWiz!
Sent from my SM-G900W8 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I CANNOT wait for mine to get here either. But I must be patient... LOL! Wasn't so keen on smart watches and was holding out for the Razer Nabu. But after reading more about the latest Android Wear OS watches, the upcoming Google Fit app, and the awesome notifications added with the activity tracking ability of these latest watches (with heart rate monitor), I've decided to ditch the Nabu in favor of this baby. And I'm hella excited for it!
I was so impatient that I was debating whether to just get the Gear 2 Neo... Buuut the Tizen OS ecosystem and lack of Android Wear (not to mention the limitation to Galaxy devices only) turned me off to that idea. I think I will be way happier in the long run having to wait a week or two for my Gear Live as opposed to being stuck with a Neo and it's limitations for a long while.
Can't wait for everyone (and myself) to get their Gear Live!
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 using Tapatalk.
Is it available anywhere else? I can't order it from the Play Store.

I actualy replaced foam seal with optional what came with gear vr and include nose seal. That made huge difference for me. I think unit sits differently on my face and lenses are lining up with my eyes better than using seal without nose piece.

Did this really make that much of a difference? I've been hesitant to try because I'm not sure how easy it would be to replace should I find the new cushion to be a diminished fit.

[Q] Anyone have battery stats when paired with Android Wear?

I want to pair off the S6 Edge with a future Android Wear watch, but I'm not sure how much that will suck away at the battery. Does anyone have any experience pairing the two up? Is anyone able to elucidate?

My stats after pairing the watch about 1600. I don't think I've ever gotten the 4, 5 and 6 hour SOT that others are posting. But then again I quit worrying about battery life long ago and just use the phone. Especially with this fast charge available on the phone, just ordered the fast adaptive car charger from samsung.
I'll post stats tomorrow of using it all day.

S6 Active root

So I'm not understanding something why does the S6 and S6E have root and roms but S6A doesn't?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
Perhaps because the S6 active just came out. Ping pong root doesn't work on kernels after May 15th (from memory). Give it time, they'll get it.
AoN
It also might be because the active version isn't as common and developers need to get their hands on it and their images to work on it.

MOD EDIT LINKS TO OUTSIDE SOURCES NOT ALLOWED ESPECIALLY THOSE WHICH MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO A DEVICE
Nevermind, I don't think any of these are legit.
Its a fake site, so they can make ad revenue. Cf-auto-root is currently not available for active versions of the s6.
---------- Post added at 06:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:41 PM ----------
Bottom line, we need to show more activity on the forums to show developers there's enough interest in the active for them to try to do an exploit. Truth is, active is IMHO better than regular s6 just because the battery lasts longer.

Its funny, active had such a bad reputation that my neighbors just looked at mine and are upset that their battery isn't as big and that they don't have a waterproof design. One of them said it best, I gladly give up fingerprint reader and heart rate sensor to have a bigger battery and a waterproof case. This is especially true living in Florida where it seems there is pool everywhere you look and almost every day has rain!
