The M7 shipped with Jelly Bean, so it is impossible to compile and find roms that are older than Jelly Bean.

No.. but I'll ship that forward. as long as the Hardware Drivers been provided... generic driver who maintain similar service.. i mean, flymeOs5 is okay, but the stock camera shuts general service at the hardware acceleration if not just the apk misleading written as some official application do behave without the stretches.. ART Driver are provided, aren't? those would be insane and don't kid me with build.prof swoosh, is great man, a nutshell.

backporting is the most worst development I can Imagine. I'll give it a go.

Did anybody start to think about porting a cm9 build for OB?
Porting a build meant for the samsung galaxy SL I9003 should be quick as both of these phones have almost exact similar specs.
Anyone???
perhaps you already know it, but CM team is on it, especially Ricardo for our OB... (and on all LG androphones btw)so there is no need of porting

if that is the case then why is there till now not even an alpha build available for our OB????
Don't expect any soon.... because not all hardware is functioning like camera prob.

Hello Everybody,
Would love to see some android 4 with Sense 3.5 ROM on my nexus one. It happened before that nexus one dropped for support of android 4 and now with the help of some brilliant developers has made it possible.
Let's discuss is it possible to have android 4 + Sense 3.5 ROM on nexus one?
-fabler.
Android 4.0.3 (ICS) comes with Sense 3.6, not 3.5.
The ROM is currently in beta stage (developer version RUU leak) on Sensation.
There is no properly functioning version on much closer and better devices than Nexus One. Desire HD version is in Alpha, half of the things aren't functional.
Moreover, there has not been a fully functional Sense ROM more or less since eViL D:'s Desire (Bravo) port. All the other Sense ports lack more or less functionality.
Given time and developers, of course, it'll find its way to Nexus One, most likely through Desire (Bravo) port. Why do you think it isn't possible? Everything is possible. To make it run well? That's another story.
someone can try to port Sense 3.6 from the XL . but the dev should wait a bit before porting it

My guess is that there's no developer capable of that task, that happens to own a Nexus One and is willing to do the not-quite-easy porting job. Having no ICS kernel ready for N1 even in AOSP form means TONS of work to make things functional.
I think somebody was also working on ICS kernel for nexus one.
Google Nexus one ICS kernel. http://tiamat-dev.com/mahimahi/
Sense ICS kernel is different from AOSP/CM one.

So, that means we have to wait till HTC releases ICS kernel source code for nexus one/desire?
Which won't happen, since there will be no official ICS for them.
No, someone will have to take an official ICS kernel code for DHD or DS, and merge it with Nexus One kernel code to create something that will run on Nexus and support the API required by Sense framework on ICS.

Hmm.. Then still have to wait because no ICS kernel source code has been released for DHD or DS.
Did you think that ever will be released?

Hi, Sure... But when???
Here in Sweden we just got 4.1.2. So i assume we have some monts of waiting..
Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie will be revealed for the new Google Phone during Google I/O in May 2013.
So hope to get the 4.2 in May.
Exact but it is not small differences between the 4.1.2 and the 4.2..So i prefer to update direct to 5.0
Hi,
scumpi if I'm sure of something about you is you'll not wait until the 5.0 realease before a next flash.

As been mentioned cm10.1 almost up and running on lte ...ive tryed it myself not bad like been said few bugs but nothing that wont be fixed within couple of weeks at most with luck..Not reall any full time let alone part time developers really working on it...maybe now the thing actually runs pretty well they might get there butts in to gear and finish rom off..lol and we shall become bloody enlightened with there wisdom...
Sv: JB 4.2 to i9300/9305
It would be nice to see it came alive so we can try...
Sent from my GT-I9305.
Now there is both CM10.1 in alpha and a RC of LiquidSmooth.
None of them is perfect yet, but with the speed of development the last couple of weeks I think its just a matter of days.
As mentioned in the previous posts, yea there are roms for 4.2.1/2 already! like CM10.1 and Liquidsmooth (4.2.2)
Personally I would say go for LiquidSmooth. For now, it has better support and lesser bugs
I've tried Android 4.2.1 with CM mod but it's a little bit disappointing. I can't see any real useful changes so far.

no, Samsung will not release Exynos sources, so it will never be final
I hate to say it but we are either gonna get more support in next months or less support.
With the s4 coming, I predict that most devs will move on and go to that

CM is official. I'm not prepared to merge in a temporary kernel though so I'm waiting for Sony 4.3 source
Nobody can really answer your questions except for Cyanogen inc as community maintainers can't do much really

Haven't found many websites about Android 5 Lollipop on the Galaxy S i9000. Found just one:
http://www.lollipop-rom.org/mp3-0/samsung-i9000-galaxy-s-3115.html
Does Lollipop not work well on an old machine like the i9000 or what is the reason that no Lollipop ROMs have been released? Just wondering if any of you have experience with the above ROM, there are not many comments on the site.

I really doubt there will be lollipop for our device. In the i9100 forum, our devs have 5.0.2 lollipop working but not CM12 official due to problems of how the rom was built (SE linux was disabled and needs to be enforced, PIE needs to be enabled, etc). There will not be an official lollipop from CM for sure (unless some miracle happens).

Nope. No miracle to expect, as the official CM maintainer (pawitp) has announced that he won't port CM12 to i9000.
The hardware of i9000 has barely made it to run with KitKat and had many slowdowns, like incoming call contact delay on display. And Lollipop is even bigger than KitKat.
