Bootloop on first ever startup - Xiaomi Redmi 4X Questions & Answers

Hello,
I ordered a brand new redmi 4x from gearbest. When I turned it on for the first time ever it got stuck at the boot animation. Even after 30 minutes nothing happened. I already went to the phone menu to wipe & reset everything, it didn't help though. Any idea what can I do without an unlocked bootloader? Before I send it back to china I want to try to fix it by myself.

I think the best solution is to take it to the service point because almost every single tweak needs an unlocked bootloader.

I do already have dev options enabled, but can't see OEM Unlock there. It is not bought from a carrier, I bought it straight from Samsung and can change carrier simply by replacing the SIM card
Factory reset

Will do. Is that the same as a hard reset? This erases all my data, such as pictures and stuff, right?
PS: Found out that my mother's phone, which was bought together with mine and is the exact same model, has an uptime of almost 900 hours and also don't have OEM Unlock available in dev settings. She also have never flashed anything on it.
When it boots up is their any other logo their besides Samsung?
Reset or hard reset is the same do it from stock recovery .

There are 2 Samsung logos. First a still image that says Samsung Galaxy A8+ Powered by Android, then a Samsung splash
That is normal I bought mine from China and been rooted since day one.
If you can't get oem unlock to show ireally don't know what to say.
I did not follow root directions I did it my way.
When you put a Sim card it activates rmm state lock that hides your oem unlock.
You can try a hard rest for 168 hour no reboot and don't disconnect from network if you do you have to start over.
Here is a long shot you can try remove Sim card and do a hard reset and reboot see if you can see oem unlock.

[HELP] Bricked Nokia 7 Plus TA-1055 (single SIM)

Hi all, I've an italian Nokia 7 Plus TA-1055 single SIM.
I was on Oreo 8.1, unlocked bootloader, tried many GSI roms for tests and then I wanted to came back to stock rom for some phone call problems.
In order to do it, during my tests, I did a big mistake, I relocked again the bootloader with fastboot oem lock command without having stock boot, but one with TWRP inside instead :crying:
Now, at every boot, phone shows me a message like this: "Your device is corrupt. it can't be trusted and will not boot[...] the device will shutdown in 30 seconds[...]".
Now, I can boot in download mode, but I cannot flash or boot anything via fastboot, in order to unlock again, and even "nb0 tools FIH Mobile" could not help me (like many others, stucked at "Reflashing service boot" or similar).
Now, what can I do?
Thanks for who wants to help me, every help is appreciated

Bootloader re-locked

Hi everyone, some weeks ago I converted my A2 in 6X because I wanted to test MIUI. Yesterday, dealing with an update my phone get into a bootloop. Well, I used MiFlash to fix it but I selected "flash and lock" (yes, I know, I'm stupid).
The main thing is that I'm in a Chinese ROM with lock bootloader and when I try to unlock it I get error 86023.
I dont know what to do. I've thought about test point to flash Xiaomi.eu but I'm not sure bcause the bootloader is locked.
Someone with a posibble solution? Thanks
Welcome to the Club
Same thing happened to me.
You can now choose between China Developer or Stable.
I tried many progs and tutorials to unlock the bootloader but no way.
If you need GooglePlayStore, CalenderSync and ContactsSync:

I'm now on stable V10.3.6.0.PDCCNXM and all is working quite well.

It didn't happened to me for myself, but I just asked this question to get better knowledge about bootloader stuffs:
As I understood the current problem is this:
You need to unlock your bootloader again, there is just (as much as I know) 2 ways to approach, which both of them will not help you:
1. Unlocking as a A2 : but your device is not a A2 anymore, so the device will not be unlocked by this method.
2. Unlocking as a 6x : but this one won't be successful either since the dedicated unlocking program asks for a real 6X device with a registered IMEI number by factory, which in your case is NOT.
So, you will be left just with the options that need no Unlocked Bootloader, as mentioned above, like Chinese Stable versions. ( That in my opinion it does NOT sound awful. )
(BTW, every day comes with new procedures, maybe you can find a new method to unlocked the bootloader again, there was times that many expertise told, after stucking in ARB4 trap, you just need to find a suitable Trash for your device!, but now we all know that there is plenty new ways to deal with it).

Authorized Customer Services, or a friend who works there
It is very possible that they can restore your phone (and as well your bootloader) as what it was in factory.

Yes, exactly.
Hello my friends, i managed to unlock the bootloader of my converted A2/6X.
I tried several times to switch from stable china to developer china but from 9.8.15 to 9.9.3 no one worked.
After installing one of the developer roms, the phone only shows the boot screen for 2 seconds and turns off, with charger it boots endlessly or shows the green battery symbol after some minutes.
One thing that works, is using a rubber band to fix "Vol+" and connect phone via usb or charger, mostly after 5-10 minutes it will enter the "Miui-Recovery", then you can start "Mi-Assistent" in the "Miui-Recovery" and flash back the stable china, so luckily no need of EDL.
After flashing the last 9.9.3 rom and the phone was all screwed up, again. I tried the original "miflash_unlock-en-2.2.624.14" and it worked.
I have done this "thousand" times before with all available unlock tools I found but never succeeded before.
Download: miflash_unlock-en-2.2.624.14
https://xiaomifirmware.com/downloads/download-mi-unlock-2-2-624-14-windows/
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=889764386195916630
Now I tried to boot into recovery “fastboot boot twrp_wayne.img” but it didn't work, because the phone reboots or turns off after 2 seconds.
So I flashed the china stable via fastboot (worked), let it boot up, no setup, reboot to enter fastboot and flashed successful the orangefox-twrp.
Hope somebody can also unlock his bootloader or maybe it was just luck.

Hard bricked

Yesterday updated to Android 10 and all were ok until I decided to fix the broken fp.. With stock recovery i tried through adb to lock bootloader. That's it.. Now phone only vibrate every 2 secs with Realme logo appeared and disappeared. I can't enter on recovery or bootloader. I tried all button combinations with no luck. I think that the only solution is to visit a technical center. :crying:
The CN version is like this. Fingerprint can be used to unlock the BL lock phone. However, C7 should pay special attention to the fact that root and fingerprints cannot coexist. It should be officially added verification. Fingerprints are disabled when root is detected. It is said that the official detection of root is not very accurate. After all, magisk is still very powerful, everything is normal when entering the system, and C7 does not need a patch to close magisk core mode like C6. C7 safetyNet checks are also true. So how does the official know? Because the current magisk solution uses boot.img, that is to say, as long as it is not the original boot, the fingerprint will be disabled.
******** The above is only a personal guess.
Goddamn Similar Issue
Realme should've shared this important information about being stuck at bootloop when locking bootloader. Fed up of trying all the button and still no response. Had to wait for the service centre to be opened. Don't know when this will be fixed. XDA developers. you're the only one who'd be having any solution to this milisecond boot loop on realme x2 pro.. Didn't flashed any rom, just tried perfectly all step to lock bootloader. I hope xda developers guys might've the solution to this. Also unable to boot to fastboot nor to any recovery mode.
Had no issues on C23 with locking BL with stock recovery.
First thing I did was resetting the phone and then locking BL.

Question Bootloop and locked bootloader Xiaomi redmi note 10 pro, I have tried a lot of things

Hi, I'm starting to say that I'm kinda new to this "things" so:
I have received this xiaomi red mi note 10 pro with the miui (or whatever that logo is) infinitely stucked and never boot the system;
Now I have googled things for 2 long days and I have done a couple of things, but the result is:
I tried to flash new ROM in many ways, but no succeded (with miflash and other softwares) except for one software (honesty Idk if I can write the name here) that through ABD flashed a new ROM that I select; firstly I selected "sweet" ROM, but then the result was nothing new or better and so I repeated the process with a new ROM called "Chopin" (always related to Xiaomi redmi note 10 pro).
No better progress BUT the image and graphics of the bootloop of the phone changed so my initially thought was "wow something changed" but nothing else, always bootlooped:
I started to repeat the process for every ROM related to redmi note 10 pro but in the end the tragedy comes:
Now I'm stucked with the phones in bootloop and I cannot enter in recovery mode ( but I can enter fastboot) because the phone keeps spamming me the battery low icon without a reason (I kept it in charge for like hours) so without the recovery mode and the miassistant option I really don't know what to do.
there isn't the mi account associated to the phone btw
Chopin? Then I think bricked.
My opinion: try to flash via fastboot and miflash and the right sweet fastboot ROM
