Does anyone know how to flash untouched stock L09C432B378 with TWRP ?
You do need to have an unlocked bootloader, then you can enter fastboot mode and flash TWRP.
You can flash the full OTA again in case something goes wrong and this does also restore the bootloader lock.
Or do you mean to flash the firmware in TWRP?

Here you can find any firmware for the EVA-L09 to download. You need to extract the content to a "dload"-folder on your sdcard and start the install by booting with Vol+ & Vol- pressed.

No this should work in any state your device is in regarding what's installed/flashed except when your battery is low.
But consider that it will also restore recovery/boot partitions and the bootloader in general.

Are you sure you have extracted the contents of the zip to a folder called dload on the root of your sdcard and your battery is not low? You can also check the guides to this method in this forum.
It also depends on what firmware you are using now but if you already are on b378 it should definitely work fine.

Since my phone is unlocked and has TWRP, maybe that the problem.
So I flash oeminfo-huawei-p9-eval09-c432.zip, then the process work but upon reboot a lot of stock app are missing, including camera, folder and backup. And there is no keyboard.
I am not entirely sure but I think these are located on the /vendor partition. But I always thought that they were part of the full OTA. Maybe you can try to find and flash the stock vendor partition?

You'll have to flash update_full_hw_eu.zip as well.
Extract it and put that update.app in the dload folder. Where did you download firmware from?
Seems you must flash hw in twrp. no other way.
EVA-L09C432B378 FullOTA-MF: http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G753/g104/v75049/f1/full/update.zip

I don't think Public is needed, it contains no update.app anyway and would need to be flashed in TWRP.

It's downloaded separately when you update, but not with dload.
Hi, I'm new to this forum.
I have a problem with my phone.
After rooting it was good, but later I wanted to upload another ROM and confused the versions to the Snapdragon processor than HiSilicon and now I don't have a baseband and IMEI.
I have tried the original 6.0, 5.1 trough adb-fastboot, because I can't restore trough dload, I had message 'Install software failed' and nothing helps.
Do you have any ideas?

I don't know, but maybe @MarcoPLs or @panchovix has an idea? Sorry to quote you guys, but this is a quite important question: What if someone flashes the wrong rom? Honor 4x can be confusing with snapdragon/kirin versions.

Flash system and cust with fastboot and use twrp flasher again.
(rollback is not full update, you have formated system thats why it also failed)

I tried flash rollback from dload, but failed.
I tried flash full stock rom MM b535 trough TWPR, but failed, so I don't know...
I must trying with other rom or meta-inf is wrong?
It works!
I extract META-INF in Huawei Multi-Tool and install rollback in TWRP, but I still didn't have baseband and IMEIs.
I flashed 6.0 B535 trough adb.
Extract from update.app and flash, flash, flash *.img.
Only full packages work, so thanks for Your help!

Hello,
I have bricked my P10 and I need some files for Oreo:
I have the system.img and the cust.img
I am missing:
boot.img , recovery and userdata.img
I have got the 2 I have extracting the update.zip but the other 3 are not available in the update.app from huawei inside the zip.
Can anyone upload the files for me or upload a TWRP backup as I have TWRP Oreo up and running in the P10 but I formatted everything and forgot to backup first.
Thank you very much.
PS: Resume I please need a TWRP backup of the OREO rom or the 3 missing files above, thank you very much.
there is no longer a boot.img and recovery.img for oreo. If I am not mistaken you are trying to use the multi_tool right?
You can use the ramdisk kernel and recovry_ramdisk files as replacement.
Userdata is not necessary from what I recon.
If you have a running TWRP I would strongly urge you to try to find a fix using that way. Such as by running HWOTA if you can.

Thank you but I can´t because HWOTA doesn´t recognise the TWRP. I am trying to use the multi_tool 8 but without success. I don´t know how to fix it at the moment, maybe SAT time?

I will try to not flash the recovery because I think TWRP is a better option at the moment?
The problem is that I can´t find any Oreo ROM that I can flash with TWRP and it would be awesome if someone share one although if it is very unstable just to be able to recover an OS.

Ramdisk kernel would be boot.img and recovery_ramdisk the recovery?
I have tried and it doesn´t recognise it so I think they are not the corresponding files it seems....
just download all 3 update packages of oreo from firmware finder. unpack them with huawei extract tool and you will have all partitions images. Or if you have erecovery pay 10 bucks to funky huawei and they will help you.

Hello,
Some weeks ago I have rooted my P10 with magisk (and twrp as recovery). Now I hot update Infos for new fw B371 (C432). Ota update won't work so I downloaded full Ota with huawei firmware finder. After download phone restarts but no update. It boots to recovery. Do I have to install the update files manually or isn't an update possible.
Thanks

Just flash a stock oreo recovery, and you should be fine.
Use my guide. Tutorial #3 is the right one.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10/how-to/guide-manual-updgrade-to-update-oreo-t3758286
Thanks. So root will be undone with this process? After this I can easily install twrp and magisk again without any problems?
Edit: Testet this, but install of officialupdate.zip failed (put the directory in /cust - boot into TWRP, mount cust and tried to install officialupdate.zip). Install from sdcard won´t work too.
Anyone has a solution to fix this. Removed root but it won't work.
Please post the TWRP log after trying to install officialupdate.zip. I need to know, what's failing so I'm able to help you out.

Okay, I can't figure it out, the log says error in line 141 in my script. I tried this on my phone and there's no such error.
What this script does is quiet simple - it just flashes a modified EMUI recovery, where the file and online check are disabled. So, you can flash the recovery from the archive manually via fastboot with "fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk PATH\TO\RECOVERY.IMG".
Then restart and do the update via Settings or FF.
After this you need to reroot, so reinstall TWRP and Magisk / SuperSU.

I'd suggest HurUpdater: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ho...h-official-firmware-recovery-t3769279/page111
OTAs do work with an unlocked bootloader, but not with root or custom kernels.
Does this works with the P10? In the post i ddin´t found the P10.
And if it works, wich zip file i have to choose? And i have root
Thanks
Try my guide (Tutorial #2, Oreo to Oreo)
After that do a factory reset with eRecovery (boot with Vol+ and connected USB).
What also should work is flashing the system.img manually via fastboot.
For this extract the system.img from the correct firmware version with Huawei Update Extractor.
Connect your phone to your PC, boot into fastboot and flash with "fastboot flash system PATH\TO\SYSTEM.IMG".
After that do a factory reset with eRecovery (boot with Vol+ and connected USB).
Note for the next time: backup your system partition via TWRP before flashing the custom rom.
Also note that a factory reset is needed, without your phone won't boot, so backup your personal data before doing it.

Yes, it works on the P10. You can download the files with the firmware finder app. I'd recommend the newest oreo version for your customisation (e.g. B382 for C432).
But Jannomag's solution should work equally well.

Possibly you renamed the wrong customisation file (i did it once for the 09 while I needed the 29).
Which one did you download? And did you flash manually or did you use my script?
Download my oeminfo, it's from VTR-L29C432 Version 8.0.0.380, while the version doesn't really matter.
Flash it via TWRP using "Install" and "Use Image". Flash it to oeminfo partition. Then do my update script again.
I followed the guide to do Oreo to Oreo - basically wanting to get from custom Rom (fRomFuture B370) back to stock, so I chose the same firmware version to extract. Flashed everything with the script and it went fine and it boots and works.. but
The resolution seems to be off, too low and the right side of the screen is unresponsive to touch (about 1cm )
EDIT- Rolled back to fRomFuture B370 for now - need to find a way to get back to stock, as want to move on to Openkirin ROM instead
HI, i have a vtr-l29 root, i want to unroot(version oreo), how do i do it? what do i need to flash?. thank you Alex
