softbrick

i soft bricked my phone but i only have less than 50% battery...will it still charge or am i a goner?:/

it will be fine...jst try to fix it bro using pc companion..click repair

as ive experienced i need to use update service to remove the softbrick but it says there that the battery needs to be at least 50%,,:/

its fine, i tried it mine was 40% below wen i got soft brick but i still manage to repair it..i have no choice but to try it..hehe

You were lucky.. Don't recommend really stupid ideas like that on here..
Flashing your phone on a dead battery can corrupt the flash if it dies during the process.
You'd have to take the phone to Sony to repair it.

so not true..flashed kernel on a dead battery and it work..flashing require small amounts of power because it is in flash mode if he wants to use xrecovery/CWM then its require 10 +/- % of battery but if he wanna use flash mode with PC C he can flash on a 5+/-% of battery without any problems :highfive:

[Q] Problem with galaxy pop plus & SD

good evening, i have the galaxy pop plus s5570i, and also i have a memory card 4GB Lexar, which has got 60-65 apps,and the phone storage is almost full, but in sd card is 300mb free....when i turn on my mobile, doing media scanning 2 times and after finish media scan i try to go in messaging or in settings...after some seconds, my phone is crash and turn off...please tell me what can i do??

What ROM you are using? It's probably a ROM problem.

i have the repencis v3.5 advanced but i was had and other roms and the problem is continous

This happened on my phone when I bought it ...
Media scanner is running so often almost every time ....
what I did was flash with latest firmware from sammobile and solved ...

ok but i dont have the custom rom...so can i try this?

U don't need custom ROM ....
what u need is original firmware + flash program ODIN from samsung .... (of course USB driver for your phone)
u can find it on samsung firmware page
on the other hand

My galaxy mini boots only when charger is connected!!!
After booting it works when i remove the charger and no ders no problem with the power key as i can lock n unlock the phone.
Please help!!!!

flashed the official 2.3.6 firmware and also tried flashing a new rom.
same problem.

Dont know about the problem but solved it. Found a solution on nexus 7 forums. I jus had to drain the battery fully and charge it fully. Worked. Thank u anyways for ur help

I've just tried to update my UK gear(v700xxuamii) via the gear manager, nothing doing. Saying I already have the latest firmware.

I'm about to try and flash it. Anyone flashed it yet?

Wonder how the updates work via the gear manager. Wonder if it knows I am not on a stock version of 4.3 and will therefore not download new firmware for the gear. In a similar vain to the updates on the note 2

Im in the UK but not showing any new update so did the update via Odin
Everything went on ok it is a non wipe update so did not loose anything the only thing i can see that is new after a quick look is in the settings there is now a Motions Option and in there you can change how the watch wakes up ie last viewed or clock or off and you can switch smart relay off

Hi I'm on 4.2.2 on s4 active still no 4.3 yet. will this update still work for better or worse. at the moment all i do not get is notifications and the weather does not work.

how did you do it via Odin. I tried and nothing happened is there a way to put the watch in download mode?

keep your finger on the button until watch says restarting then keep pressing the button fast until you get to the 3 options screen go to download mode then hit the start button for 3 secs and let go and it will go into download mode

Do not UpDate!!! Debug mode is gone soo no ADB possible anymore...

I wonder why they would do that??? I mean its not like they are getting a ton of development on their side for it??? or are they....

Ye need to do the same as on the phones to be a developer .. U have to unlock debugmode...

I was hoping that the update would fix my "no weather info" situation. Any thoughts? Is it an issue with all S4 devices?

Can you also change the motion? Or is the way it responds to motions improved? I hate the way it responds now. Sometimes I do the magical motion and it stays off. Seems totally random to me.

Gonna be keeping an eye on this update before I make the plunge.

debug still working u have to tap software version several times just like build number on phone
seems to be better working pretty well for me

It works but with other methoud. After the akcident I install marshmallow not nougat and yesterday I did update to last version and its works now im typing from my honor.

Otg works out of the box and is working on Nougat too.

It works only with rooted android 6.0 with super su2.65 and otg app from huawei , nem-l21 dont support otg out of box.

Im interested in arsenic and elite but im kinde of scary to try after the error that I mention here in this post. It was miracle that I fix it and for the moment I thought to troll the phone in the trash.
