Hey HTC One Users.
It's been a long time for me since posting in this thread.
Got back my good old HTC One from my mother in law and want to use it as a replacment if a "main" smartphone fails and needs service/rma.
A few years back, when the One was my main phone i have used Maximus HD, InserCoin and Google Play+ Edition ROMs.
So, years passed by.
Please, can anyone suggest an stable slik ROM for this phone?
Thank you
pOpY
If you want battery life GPE roms are the best.
Anyway android 5 is old, try some new nougat roms, they are sufficient stable.
Thx, have flashed GPE rom (5.1).
Have read the last posts of the nougat threads an saw posts where users are complaining about issues.
Can you recommend an stable enough nougat rom?
Thx pOpY

Hello!
1st out of curiosity: Why do you so desperately need to go back?
Why not updating to the latest KANG?
Warranty issues?
Ok…if you want to go back and you do not have a backup...use one of these roms…
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1035041
Best way to get closest to the status you phone was delivered is to pick a matching froyo rom for you region and than use LG-Updater to update to latest officially authorized build.
…or if you want just the latest LG stock rom without a lot modification…

Thanks simyo...It worked......
Hello!
Happy I could help!
But my name is Medizinmann (= medicine man) and not symio - that is my provider...
Did you use LG-Update or smartflash – just curious..
I will try as well this with the smartflash method i dont trust LG software.. thank you!
so i did it and everything went well! thanks again!
Since the 4.4.4 fw for z1 is already out,
I would like to try costum rom,
Do u guys have opinion or suggestion which costum rom is so far the most stable?
Thankyou

Comparison threads are not allowed. Just try every ROM til you find one you like.
We do not allow best ROM/Kernel threads no matter how they are named. The question is subjective, best advice is to head over to the development section try some out and see which best suits your needs.

Of course not, otherwise it would work fine.
I'd recommend to flash stock 2.3.6 KQE first(to get the newest bootloader and modem) then flash the newest TWRP(check which Rom you want before you do that, every Rom has its own recovery hence partition Layouts) through Odin. After that he should be good to go.
Apart from that: This is the development section, not the Q&A forum. Every question regarding flashing has to be made in the corresponding thread.
I'd report this thread, but unfortunetly im using Tapatalk 2. Would be nice if somebody else could do that for me. Thanks.

Simple answer since this thread will probably get locked down by moderators. There is no best ROM. Read up on ROM threads that catch your attention and try them out. See which one fits your needs or wants.

I've been using custom ROMs from xda-developers on my Galaxy Mini for a long time (via CWM 5.2.0.8), but the phone's time is over and I would like to restore an original stock ROM back and sell the phone. My bad I hadn't done a backup at the beginning.
I downloaded stock ROM in .tar.md5 format, but I couldn't manage to flash it via Odin or Heimdall (I think the USB cable is broken). Therefore I tried to make flashable zip from .tar.md5's recovery.img via Android Kitchen (using https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2387941) to flash it using SD card, but unfortunately there was status 0 error during flashing procedure of newly created flashable zip. The guide from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2186015 didn't help, whatever I set into EMMC or MTD partition table, flashing procedure still produced status 0 error. Could you help?
Note: I want to restore stock ROM GT-S5570XWKTS O2C (Czech Republic, containing minor changes - boot screen etc. - from local operator called O2), which was originally inside, but any Czech stock ROM could do.
If You are interested in I would start searching for a German stock. Maybe, if I dig deep enough I find one.
But why don't You flash Your rom with a good wired connection?
Isn't it the easiest way to do?

I love German language, but not everyone does. I want to sell Mini, therefore Czech stock is crucial I think. I'd like to use some good wired connection, but I don't have an access to any. I have got three microUSB cables from tablet, camera and Kindle, but none of them fits into (unfortunatelly) special narrow Mini microUSB socket (damn). And the original cable is broken.
I'll try to borrow some cable from somebody maybe.

I tried my friend's cable, but I couldn't manage to successfully flash it. I tried two PC's, both Odin and Heimdall and Linux, Win7 and Win10, but none of them worked. Maybe some issue with drivers, but I've never experienced a driver issue on any of my PC's before. Both Heimdall and Odin fail when setting up a connection.
Hey alevska!
{I love German language, but not everyone does.}
oh really¿ - I just live with it ;-]
{ I want to sell Mini, therefore Czech stock is crucial I think.}
I would asume that nobody wants back to stock 2.3.6 ?!
At least You should try to sell it
as it is! You still can (try to) change Rom if nobody buys.
///btw - I got mini2 and haven't got rom for mini ? sorrry

Thank you. Finally I think there is no other option. I'll sell it with my actual CM 10.1 and I hope I'll be successful. It is really old phone and survived many falls in its life, therefore I think I could give it as a present or for free too. With additional bonus of Android 4.2 in CM 10.1
'old' is relative.
There is an old photography with me holding a big grey (!) phone (the one with curled cable between the two big parts of the device) to my ear.
i remember:
This was the up-to-date version, though the 'old' ones have been black ... ?
but yes, ok, even my mini2 is old - in a way -
and I'll use it as a webcam or an outdoor navi
- or give it to my poor sister who don't owe a smartie at all.
/// In Berlin recently I saw used and 'old' S3 neo's for only 50€.
So don't You expect to much for the mini!
