I have a LG L90 D410HN that is hard bricked, it does not go into recovery or download mode. I had installed some time ago the Lineage 14.1 rom.
I'm trying to follow a tutorial I found here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/general/guide-unbrick-hard-bricked-l90-variants-t3173429, but when I connect it to the pc (without battery), even I have installed all the drivers, it only appears as Unknown Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) and when I put the battery, it is not recognized just remains rebooting in the LG logo. Any suggestions on what I can do? Thank you in advance.

Nothing specific, I turned the phone off and took out the battery only. When I turned on again, it has been stuck in the LG logo, restarting endlessly and cannot enter download or recovery mode. As soon as I put the battery in the phone, it turns on without pressing the button.
What I think may have happened is I have removed the battery before the system finished shutting down or something like that.

After a moment that is connected, the battery symbol flashes with a yellow triangle next to it with a question mark in the triangle.

Can you also try booting the phone with battery inside and charger connected then remove battery once started booting and see if that works. Also, how did you try to get into download mode.

The power button is shorted, I measured with a multimeter to confirm. I think only technical assistance will save my phone, right?

I think you have to change the power button or wiggle it a bit for it to work then.

Ok, you are welcome. But for temporary fix the power button probably got stuck pressed so try to pull the button out so it is not pressed anymore.

Hi
After installing the cwm .apk on my optimus 4x, i am stuck at the bootanimation screen.
I would like to know if it is possible somehow to restore the phone with adb or something, because a hard reset did not solve the problem
Thanks in advance
The last option is to re-flash the whole system
of course this will erase everything......

If you take out the battery you'll have another problem
To enter in S/W just press "VOL-" + "On/Off".
Keep the battery and to take out cards (memory or SIM) its optional. I use to keep them on, its up to you
Good luck!

Hello,
I have a Samsung Note N7000, the phone is off and it hasn't been working for about 2 months, when I charge it the green battery comes up on display and charges to 100 percent but when I go to turn it on it does nothing, the screen goes black and then the battery with the circle in the middle pops waiting for the charging status to appear and then the green battery pops up.
Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks

Unplug from charging and try to boot into recovery (volume up+power+home button) and also see if you can get into download mode (volume down+power+home). and give details what did you do 2 months ago that it stopped powering up.

When I unplug from charger I can not do either of those things, all though when it is connected to the charger and I can boot it into download mode. I dont think I was doing anything to it at the time, I think the charge just dropped on it

have you tried with different battery? seems like battery isnt holding the charge when disconnected. Have you tried to connect to PC via USB and see if it stays on in download mode, also try to open odin to see if it detects it.

Connect your phone to pc open pc odin and flash philz kernel (.tar file) in download mode and once it is finished try to boot into recovery.

Could you start the download/update mode? press and hold the power button and plug usb cable connected to pc till update screen. Maybe you can restore the firmware through LG Mobile Support Tool (B2CAppSetup).

We've had one other person, that I'm aware of, do this same very big mistake. Warranty exchange was her only option to repair.

Yep, but nothing. I put my device all night on charge, and in the morning, the light has gone, i put again and the led started to flash and still nothing, i think it's from my battery :?
Visit www dot htcdev dot com/devcenter/downloads (please change the 'dot' to '.' I cannot post the link dirrectly for some reasons)
Then choose your device and download the correct RUU
I saved my bricked phone using this last year, this will factory reset your phone
Okay so I'm a newbie to rooting. And I was on this step where I let the tool install some files to my phone and it said to unplug and pull battery, the next step said to hold power and - volume down button and release power when I see the LG logo while holding the - volume down after a second quickly hold power and - volume down to access factory data reset and settings. So it restored my phone back to factory settings and no root, the video said to try again but the problem is that my phone will power on anymore and is unresponsive when I charge it. So I took the battery out for a min. and the phone turned on but got stuck on LG logo and freezes then it shut off. I tried to boot it up again on LG logo screen, the corner it says Secure booting Error
Error code: 1009
MODIFIED!
And it froze and shut off. Now whenever I try to boot it up it gets stuck on LG screen and shuts off or when I'm in factory reset it freezes when I press yes. I put it into download mode and try to install the LG G4 stock kdz file but my computer couldn't connect with my phone for example, I plug my phone into the computer via USB but nothing, no sound and no charge now it won't turn on at all. I hope this wasn't too hard to understand and I'll greatly appreciate any kind of help, thank you.
.
I wonder if LG or T-mobile is pushing an anti-root tool that hard bricks the devices. My device was working fine until this morning after my alarm went off - Mind you, I have been rooted since the root came out. I unplugged the phone, put it in my pocket, and it got really hot, then it does the same as yours; except, my phone shows bootloader:unlocked when i try to reset it. So, yeah, you are hard bricked. No recovery from what I hear. U got a paper weight. I do not believe any of the G2 or G3 fixes will unbrick our devices. I think it may need a jtag.
