Hi all,
i read somewhere that the TYTN II has HSUPA support ready. but im not sure about this. Does anyone know whether this handset definately has HSUPA built in.
The networks dont support this feature yet but is being worked on and will be introduced soon.
HSUPA is a new technology for faster data speeds using your phone to surf the web. It will take over for, well be a part of the network where HSDPA currently is the maximum (3.6mbps)
Also on another note, i am about to purchase a 8gb SDHC card, but can anyone confirm that this works if they have tried it?
Thanks in advance
HSUPA is for Uploads, hence the U. HSDPA is for Downloads, hence the D. They would compliment each other, not cancel each other out or compete.
Very few, if any, networks support it yet but I do believe the TyTN II supports it, just as it supports HSDPA.
Yes, i live i stokholm and telenor supports it fine.
It's not used very often though. Sometimes it comes up as
an H on the status bar.
TYTN supports MICRO SD version 2, which handles up the 32Gb i've heard.
I have a sandisk 6Gb card myself. Works fine!
yes you are right, to correct what i wrote earlier. HSUPA provides a greater upload speed which will then support HSDPA to provide a faster data speed alltogether.
Thank you for the reply about the memory card, i can now happily purchase my 8gb sdhc card!!
I am looking for an external antenna to attach to my Vogue (Sprint model that I am using on Verizon). I need one with a booster because I live out in the country and do not get very good signal (1 micro bar 1X, 1 bar EVDO if I'm lucky).
My biggest problem is not knowing what kind of connection the phone uses. I know its some kind of CNC connector, but I don't know what exactly its called (micro, mini, etc??). Any help in figuring out that detail would be great.
The phone is my primary source of internet and having a booster on the antenna would be extremely helpful. Anyone that could help me would be doing me a huge favor! A simple window booster is out of the question, I need a full blown antenna I can mount outside. I don't really want a overblown expensive digital repeater.
Hello.
I am using a P7-L00 (dual sim) in Greece. I can use 4G as well as 3G or 2G. But in some cases that I have low signal, it drops off the signal. I found that Huawei it protects the battery with this way but I preffer to use it with low signal instead of nothing. I found at build.prop a section for CDMA and the limits for low/moderate/good/poor at db. Could you inform me if I need to do sth in those limits? Which are the values for right perfomance? Is the right place at build.prop? Is sth else that I can do to avoid the rules for signal drop off from Huawei?
Thank you in advance!
I am having really bad data signals here in London , to the point that I might sell and get another phone. I am currently on Syberia Project Rom(Android 10,global firmware).
I am on the Three Network and did not have much problems with my OP 6T , yet with my 9T Pro I get poor data signal in some areas in Central London. I work around London Bridge and have hard time with data signal with 4G and 3G.
Does anyone know what I can do improve this?
Hi ,
Since 4 Weeks im the owner of an Mi11 .
Unfortunately I have to say that I am very disappointed with this Device .
My Problems are :
- very poor WLAN Receive Power ( maybe the Antenna ) , i change my AVM Fritzbox against an new one , but still the same Problems . Mesh Thettering / Switching dont work perfectely . With my Company Phone , an Iphone 11 the Mesh Roaming works like charm and it receives in my kitchen 560 MB/s with the 5GHz WLAN.
My Mi11 drops down in Kitchen, wich is 3 meters away from the Fritzbox to 10MB/s or it loose the Connection completely . The Mesh roaming dont work too.
Till the Mi11 change to my Repeater the Bandwith goes down to 5 MB/s the maybe it switches to the Repeater who can deliver again 500 MB/s .
- Poor Mobile Network Power . I loose the Connection on Calls on Places where i can take Calls with my old Huawei Phone.
Am I the only one with these problems or do others feel the same way?
Thanks
Michael
I don't have such WiFi issues
and regarding mobile data, are you using the same operator and SIM card as in huawei?
Ok , Hmm . I use the same SIM as under the Huawei Handy .
for wifi -> i have the same, disabling WPA3 helped a little on my fritzbox but not in total
mobile --> the same, i have my company pixel 5 next to my mi 11, both have deutsche telekom sim, pixel is having a much better signal and also gets higher download speeds
Clear system cache, network reset, clear sim card tool kit data, check Access Point Names, replace sim card.
Also, try to adjust the incoming signal throught the hidden menu of which your sim approves.
I dont have these problems with my mi 11.
I have my Mi11, since the beginning of last month, and i must say i never experienced bad wifi/cellular connection. So i suggest you make a network/factory reset..

I think Xiaomi's European models have problems in all areas that the Chinese models don't. My CN model has fantastic WiFi values with both the original and the Xiaomi.exiaomi.eu ROM. I also have the Fritzbox as a router.
