Hi all, how can I connect to a MirrorLink car media system with my Nexus 4?
I'm fine with flashing custom rom and my phone has root and custom recovery.

I have a nexus 7 with jelly bean 4.2 and have installed stickmount but when I connect a USB stick and click mount it just says stick mount is bust try again in a few seconds but never gets past this. I do not have root access and think the problem may be linked to that but I cannot work out how to get it.
Any help would be gratefully received
Thanks
Yes, you must be rooted to use stickmount. Try nexus media importer. No root required.
Okay I an current trying to root I mobile IQ II but keep getting stucked on boot loop. I already installed TWRP 2.8.7.0 for i mobile and was able to get the device back to working condition. After 5 hours of work I still can't root the device with the methods on the internet so I am here asking for help. Please reply ASAP as I want to root this device.

I've flashed a Oreo beta ROM onto my Sprint Note 8, back when Oreo was new. Since then, the charging port on my phone stopped functioning (I have to charge wirelessly)
I recently purchased a new phone (Galaxy S10+), but I'd like to root my Note 8 and try some custom ROMs, etc. Now that it isn't my primary and I don't worry as much about the 80% root problem.
Is this possible at all?
Thanks in advance.

Nope.
Ok, I have an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 5 N920I with Android Nougat 7.0 and the charging port on it recently went out on me and I would like to re-root it. I am wondering if there may be any way that I can manually root it without having to hook it to a PC even if that means doing EVERYTHING myself? I say re-root because I recently had it rooted but I decided to upgrade to Nougat 7.0 so I had to un-root it.
So I updated to the latest one UI 2.5 rom and wireless dex does not work at all. It tries to connect but fails. It does not happen on my Tab S7 on the same devices. Is there a way to fix this on a rooted phone? I think Knox being tripped since I used custom recovery. Dex works wired for my note 9.
