hi guys! so i planned to root my phone. i have successfully installed TWRP, and the next step that i did is to root my phone. but when it rebooted 2x, it says that its not yet rooted. so what i did is reboot it, entered TWRP and press the WIPE button on it hoping it will refresh and delete the previous root files. But it turned out that even my camera default app is missing, cant use my bluetooth, and cant use my mobile data..
But then, i tried every method like flashing the correct firmware, so yes i rooted my phone. But still, my default apps are missing like camera. still, cant use my bluetooth and mobile data.
Here's my Build Number:
EVA-L19C636B393
Hope you can help me with this.
download FIRMWARE FINDER
download FF in android market and install specific firmware. we have same unit and i downloaded B394, THERE IS A VIDEO GUIDE ON THE UPPER LEFT BUTTON in the app.
hoping it will help you. ?
mine is working perfectly now, with all stock apps recovered.

Hello fellas...just rooted my note 4 using odin. After rooting I tried to install the TWPR flash recovery to no evail. For some reason after downloading the recovery file, when I open it up in odin it get's stuck on the screen ( using my computer). So I cannot install it to my phone....yet. I did download ROM toolbox pro...i do notice there is a recovery option here. Is this the same thing as the TWPR recovery? Do I absolutely need TWPR recovery? really new to this so all and any info will help thanks!
Use an older version of Odin. I'm using 3.04 everyday. Yes you need a custom recovery.

Did you install Chainfire Root before trying to install TWRP. I have a short Odin video on YouTube I made for another member that you can check out. See if it helps you
http://youtu.be/hMOsw0RDeSQ
Remember that this was for a specific member and rom he was installing as far as the Firekat files. The Odin, chain root, and twrp will work for your needs. You might want to update the twrp to 2.8.4.
2.8.1 works fine for me so that what I have installed

make sure your file is a tar file and not an image, if it is good then I would try a different version of Odin as mentioned before. If still no luck I would definitely try a different file location to get the Download or a different version of TWRP. I have files that I know work if you need.
Hope we helped
Also when your loading in the pda slot it takes a minute to populate in the slot sometimes 60 seconds....
That is normal. Sometimes when loading firmware it takes up to 3 minutes or so for the md5 check to be done. Usually root and recovery aren't quite as long but still can take a min.

To answer this question, are you planning on flashing ROMs? If not, I wouldn't worry about TWRP. Some people just like to ROOT and be on their way.

Yeah I realized that when I loaded the chainfire file in odin. But after waiting 10 minutes for the recovery file , I figured something was wrong. If you can provide me with the recovery link that would be great. Its for the note 4 t mobile.

Make sure that after it reboots you turn off your device. Hold volume up, power and the home button at the same time and go into recovery mode and back your device up. Leave what is x'ed off as is but I also back up the modem. Change the location of the back up to be saved to your SD card. Factory wipe, the advanced, checking off dalvik, system, data and cache. DO NOT WIPE INTERNAL or SD card. Reboot your phone. Let it sit for 5 min on the welcome screen then enjoy

Please don't take this the wrong way. READ READ READ READ. OH SEARCH SEARCH SEARCH.
OK you need to install a recovery before you can get into a recovery. Read the how to root and follow all and every direction. He made that and it works perfect. Have rooted 5 times already and it works

If you're having trouble just pm me.
It got a P7-L10, one hour ago my phone was in "good condition" the problem is that not grabbed me neither wifi nor bluetooth and was not solved by installing another rom, to show the problem would be solved by installing the rom by ADB, which did not happen because brickiado stayed because it bypasses the Huawei logo, can not enter the fastboot recovery but if I can not install through 3 buttons that the phone gets stuck on the logo Huawei.
i had same issue then somehow trying again and again i reached to rescue mode where i flashed stock firmware and recovery.

I hope you serve your method as I am desperate to find a solution on the XDA forums and other forums also
The problem lies after a network change for data connection, subsequently did not recognize any of the simcard.
Its status is NO SERVICE, and dialing * # 06 # does not appear the "IMEI", checking in forums comments that a factory restoration should be done.
In the options of simcard in the phone indicates that "insert a simcard", is as if it recognized neither of the two simcard
I have tested with SM, Naute3g and IMEI.exe and none to served. I have the clipboard phone, can help me to solve this problem. The phone is amazing but has little support.
IMPORTANT: I made a serious mistake by not creating a backup with TWRP, and now I can not return to a previous version.
Please Help me......:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

If you already do it and nothing.
I was investigating and it tells me that it is a problem of the folder EFS, I look for it like root explorer but I do not get it, it means that I lost it?
What can I do in that case?
Reverse back to older stock rom version and install a OTA update through updater app.

I can inform you that already solve the problem, I leave the steps to follow for those who have that problem: (It is horrible to suffer this)
1) Download the ROM STOCK 013s (Installed by Fasboot)
2) Have the Recovery Original installed.
3) Go to recovery, Erase data
4) Flash ROM by Fasboot
5) Go from Fastboot to start ROM leaving the power button.
AND READY.......
You will have your NVRAM folder with no problems.
Remember to be careful when installing any recovery if you have smaller versions of ROM to 014s, Look for the tutorials of BB72 ROM.
Thanks for your help
