Hi,
I've recently (Jan 7, 2018) picked up a Nokia 8 to replace my dying, cracked, and 7 year old HTC Evo 4G LTE. So far the phone has been great! Amazing battery life, great camera, insanely fast, etc. The one thing I've been trying to do is hide some of the icons on the top right of the screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So far I have done the following:
Enabled Developer Mode.
Turned on System UI Tuner.
Turn off Clock and Volume icons.
Does anyone know how to hide the other two? Location and the LTE icons. These are the options I have for System UI Tuner:
Thanks!
The location indicator is on because you have something set to be constantly reporting your location and the LTE one is presumably showing you are using VoLTE so stop using that and all your dreams will come true.

Perhaps the pixels are dead? Have you tried watching a photo in fullscreen (or a completely white screen)?
Pixels aren't dead. If I press on it, then off, it'll show untill it comes out of sleep mode.
The battery icon has gone too, the bar at the top is a temporary battmeter.
oops, battery icon was disabled in diamondtweak. I think it might be the battmeter at the top causing only half the signal icon to show...

How do you take this green battery icon off as I got the percentage bar on with the new version of Android and there's no need to display both.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
You need to install xposed framework, download the sense 5 toolkit, and find the module that alters (and disables) the battery icon in the statusbar. You'll need to be rooted for it to work. Other than that, you can get into settings and disable the percentage and use the icon as well.
Find out which app that icon is coming from. Once you find it disable the notification from the "App" tab in your phone's setting
Thought it might be easy just to unclick something
Hello all,
I'm running the latest 5.0, LRX21O, and I've noticed that icons tend to get stuck in the status bar. For example I still have the phone icon even though I hung about about an hour and a half ago.

The mod installs files and app necessary for the mod to work. The app is called battery bar settings. This replaces the normal battery icon with a bar at the top of the statusbar indicating the battery charge. The app is old and doesn't always change settings right away but once it settles in, it works okay. This is a stand alone mod and not compatible with my other mods though it is in my ADB installer as well.

Very awesome!
I'm sure many of us are looking for a version that uses the ring notch, like "energy ring". https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=you.in.spark.energy.ring.gen&hl=en_US&gl=US
Title.
One feature from iPhones, and more recently BBK Group devices (OnePlus and Oppo) that I really like is Smart 5G switching as it automatically turns off 5G when it's not needed to save battery life.
Another feature from Google's Pixel line is the ability to select text from the Recents screen, useful when text isn't selectable usually.
Does ZenUI have either of these? Thanks!
Hey,
So there is smart 5g option but it is called Auto 5g

Regarding the text selection from recents screen, that is unfortunately not yet possible. Coming from a pixel 3 I do miss this.
Accidentally posted twice
Awesome! Thanks for checking!
