In the gallery, when playing videos, it fails. Smart view does not work. Camera and modes work, some stickers do not work.

Bug report: the screen resolution isn't working
[Edit]: Working if you are switching from full hd to hd but it is very hard, because you cannot click directly. You must click a little bit above.

Just successfully got this running on my NZ brought J5 pro. It was a process, I tried a few different ways without much success so its odd that this was my method.
1. Installed fresh OS of my provider
2. Used CF-Auto-Root for J530Y to root. Flashed twice, as first time after boot you have to reset the device or something.
3. Installed Rashr(Flashfire wouldn't work for me for some reason)
4. Use Rashr to install extracted recovery.img from the TWRP provided by another user for the J530Y.
5. Replace boot.img in NovaOS zip with one extracted from my Official rom and repackage.
6. Transfer to device and flash with TWRP
7. Finally success

When I got the Moto X Play a few years ago, there were only a few stock based ROMs. 2 years later, there are A LOT.
It takes time to get going (although it is a VERY long time for this device!!)
There is no well known repo/source for the proprietary blobs.

I think almost everyone here would be happy with a stock based rom.. debloated.. not so much that breaks funcionality.. and maybe some s8 features.. and thats it.
If no one does it.. I'll do it as soon I start my vacations.. or I'll just trade phone lol since it's christmas and everything haha

I know a few big dev teams are considering this device, so it won't be that long until we see a good start with LOS and AOSP ROMs.

The edges of the widget search bar of the google search application I downloaded from google playden are square. Same as your samsung s8 with rounded edges like yours. I downloaded your rom and changed it in the system priv-app with velvet.apk in velvet.apk in the original rom, but again it is not round, but square wigdet search bar comes out. How can I fix this?

Friend I tried the rom in an A710M The rom fails in the main has no signal and the gallery stops a lot does not allow to see videos example I put a video and it stays after or the cell phone is restarted or the application reboots That's what I could see in failure

amigo de hay no I've seen more errors brother if no bother I have a lineage rom if you want to give it to Develop friend if you continue with this excellent rom it looks good has Samsung experience 9.5

Aroma is very buggy, sometimes the rom also. But If you fix these 2 points its another good rom for A5/A7 (etc.)

Hello, I have installed in A710M, There is problem with the phone signal, front camera effects do not work.
Music player frames have you added them or is it a problem?

Great but it seems a little buggy homescreen in video. Anyway, good job!
Also i prefer light roms for playing games. Extra options = extra ram usage. = Fps drops and lags in game.

The battery icon is hide on the statusbar (just show the percentage), How can I show it? I have the a510M

please provide a volte fix asap
besides that this is the awesum rom smooth fast every1 can use this rom as daily driver

I have the same problem as well as my keyboard not working and even crashing at times,also the dpi changer is not accurate as it sets different values than the one mentioned.

Also I would like to add 2 things:
First thing is that after restarting some options reset like auto brightness gets turned on although it was off before restarting as well as app shortcuts on the homescreen and app locations in the app drawer
Second thing is this isn't Android 8.0 Oreo,instead it's still 7.0 Nougat and I've confirmed that when trying to flash Xposed 8.0 beta version in TWRP as it said the version was wrong and intended for 8.0 while the current one was 7.0 so there's no need to lie about that,makes me very dissappointed(and for some reason it says Android 9.0 in the system info,not sure why but it's useless since you can change it to anything through a system file).
One last note,opening language input with the stock keyboard that comes with the ROM crashes the settings app and the fix was uninstalling the system's keyboard and downloading a different one.

On A3 it has a lot of bugs.

I wanted to report a few bugs / flaws
Code:
➢ There are no albums in gallery
➢ It takes at least 2-3 seconds to lock when you press the power button.
➢ Battery stats missing
➢ App's fc
(By the way, the rom is not stable, need's to improve. I hope the bugs will be fixed someday)
