Phone doesn't turn on - Huawei P9 Questions & Answers

Hello everybody, i have a big problem with mi P9:
i was to replacing my cracked display and the battery, so i bought them. Took off the old display, replaced with the newer and the same process done with tha battery.
But, after that, i tried to turn on the phone....nothing. No vibration, to display, nothing. I plugged it to the power adapter, and a red led started to blink while charging, tried on more time to turn it on, and it get the bootup vibration, but still nothing on the display. After the short bootup vibration, the led blinked faster for 2 seconds, than nothing. After minutes, the phone show the charging screen with the 0% battery, not growing up. As last chance, i tried to unplug the battery, reconnect to the power adapter and...boom, it booted up with the animation. The phone show the unlock screen with the PIN screen, but only for 1 second: Battery low, the phone is about to turning off, and so it does.
Now, i tried with a different battery, but nothing. I don't know what is the problem. I was supposing about the motherboard flex, maybe i damaged it while removing the old battery, but i'm not sure. Can you help me?
Thank you!

No one can help me?

Tytn II possibly dead HELP!!!

It looks like my Tytn II might be bricked... I have searched and searched and can not find any info on this. The phone will not turn on. I know the battery is dead, but it should have the power to try to boot. In fact, I have not used it in a while and I just tryed to boot it, it got to the starting screen, then the windows loading screen, and then I walked away for a few minutes and came back it and it was a black screen. Tried to turn on again and it did not power up. Upon plugging it into the charger, I get a solid red light on the top. When I remove the battery from the phone as the charger is connected the LED immediately changes to solid orange, and the blue led next to it comes on as well. When I disconnect the charger all the LEDs go off (obviously because theres no battery) and when i put the battery back in the phone i get a dim red light.
is the phone bricked? im thinking it might have slight water damage but it has been like 2 weeks since then so it should have dryed up i assume. tried to reset a few times with the little reset button next to the charger port, nothing. is it possible the battery may just be done for? any help or suggestions would be great. thanks.
I had that isue but i just leaved the phone on charger and everything came back to normal It's still working very well. But, i cant remember how i get into that situation but i surely know that i saw red light on top .
thanks, now that its been on the charger for a while i now get an orange LED. i will let it charge for a while and see if it awakens after almost 3 weeks of utter deadness.
Try waking it while on charge itslef.

just tried and it got to the very first boot screen and then went black and the orange and blue LEDs stayed on. tried to reset, no luck. unplugged charger, still LEDs stayed on. so then I took the battery out, all LEDs went out, plugged it back in and now i get the same red LED again.
update: now i get a orange LED as its plugged into the charger, but when i try to turn it on it gives the first boot screen for like 3 or 4 seconds then turns off...
I am getting exactly the same problem?
I tried to install android - got it working, came on a few times - then just totally died - It showt he HTC boot logo, but then just turns off.
Does anyone have any ideas.
does your computer see it when plugged in via usb?
perhaps this will help? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=358136
oh and also you have tried to enter the bootloader mode right?
I've had this issue, millions of times. What I do when I have problems like this (and problems like when I turn it on, it says the battery is low when it isnt, and when you connect your charger/USB, it dies on you)
Try removing and putting the battery back on.
so in simple words
charge the battery first (dont bother trying to turn it on)
and then remove the charger (this plays a big role)
take out the battery, put it back in, hope it works.
The same thing just happened to me, I thought it was toast. I would get the red light when I plugged into the charger, and after a few minutes it would turn to orange. I tried to turn it on then, and it would start to boot up, then shut off a few seconds later. This happened a few times. I just left it plugged in overnight, and when I woke up it was on! Only problem I've noticed is the orange LED is always on, but I can live with that

won't turn on/can't select any boot options

I have a new Motorola Atrix HD. I was using it and the screen went black. i hit the power button to unlock but nothing happened. i plugged it in but nothing happened. i took the back off to see if the battery was disconnected. I didn't know the battery was different than other phones and ripped the power cord connecting the battery to the phone when i took it out. lesson learned. Ordered a new battery and installed correctly. phone won't turn on. The green charge light blinks when i plug it into the wall and then stays on for about 20 seconds and then the phone tries to turn on but while the motorola icon is illuminated, it cuts back out and repeats the cycle. I left it plugged in for a couple hours and still the same thing. i tried holding in power and volume buttons for the boot screen. if i do that just as the phone attempts to turn on i can get the screen up and scroll the list of boot options with the power buttons but i can't select any of them and the phone cuts out after the same amount of time. Everytime. When i plug it into my laptop, the light blinks on and then stays on like with the wall, but the phone doesn't attempt to power up. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. i have read a lot of forums where the battery was acting up because of the chargers people were using. The difference between my situation and those of the people i read about is that my boot screen cuts out and cannot be used. This all happened 2 days after my exchange period ended and because i took the back off myself, best buy won't have anything to do with me so i'm on my own and cannot afford another phone right now. Thanks in advance for your time and concern.

Is it possible that the that connection between the power cord and the phone itself is loose or damaged? I'm just guessing here as I have never opened up the back of my phone.
I would check your battery terminals then leave it to charge if it does. You could also try a factory cable. Another thing would be to try fastboot while connected to your laptop and see if it stays on, and if it does, try reflashing all partitions.

[HELP] Xperia Z brick?

hi,
sorry for my bad English,
I bought Xperia With a damaged touch. The phone is normally turn on. the touch did not work. I decided to take himself for the replacement of touch (glued to the LCD). I disassembly phone . before removing the motherboard still plugged in the battery to see if the battery will not hurt the dismantling of the display, the phone is turned saw the Sony logo and disconnected the battery (do not know if it was a good idea). After removing all nicely warmed the screen and slowly removing pieces touch. Unfortunately, at the end it turned out that a little too much it warmed, because the screen began to appear discolored, so were pissed, I ordered a new display and in the meantime, as I wait for the touch I wanted to see if it works. I have connected to the display board, tape, buttons and battery. Turned on, the phone vibrated and enough black screen. So I stitched it to "poop" and I wanted to run, but it was all the same. Computer can not detect, etc.. After some time, as it was plugged into usb turn on the red light. Ive loaded software program SUS, and after you press the power button flashing red LED 3 times. I left the phone on the charger overnight from nokia (1200mA), but it does not improve, after that, that when you try to turn the vibration and again, so much. The phone is detected in fastboot mode (blue LED) and flash (theoretically green), because as I press the phone turned off and hold down my Vol- is a second red LED will flash immediately changes to green and then turns off the computer recognizes the phone as SOMC Flash Device (SEMC not SOMC) and in this mode for the update service is normally upload the software to the end, in the Flashtool the same situation. I do not know if it's important, but after every uploading the software when you try to turn this unfortunate flashes red LED 3 times as if the battery is discharged. Could this be a defective battery? Phone before you got in my hands was lying unused for some time. How it got it it plugged into the car charger (840mA) for around 40min +/- and normally work. I do not remember whether if it was on some LED.
Why could you buy a Xperia Z with damaged touch? And why you try to repair it yourself?

If battery was working properly before the experiment that you did there must be something wrong that you must have did.
Try a different battery and see whether it solves issue or else you must have damage the mo-bo

[Q] Xperia Z only boots when certain points are pressed.

Hi guys,
My Xperia won't boot up, and vibrates non-stop.
I decided to take off the back cover, and take a look. After some investigation, I noticed than when I press the flex cable connector of the PWR, VLM UP and DOWN on the motherboard, it boots up.
Then is stopped doing it like this.
Now I noticed, when I press around the vibration motor connector, it stops vibrating, but when I press the bottom-right corner of the battery, it starts vibrating again. While pressing the vibration motor connector, the battery bottom right corner, and the flex cable connector of PWR and Volume, suddenly it booted again to charging mode, and now I turned it on again..
It charged from 2% to 10%, 2 times it noted that the battery is low, which means it somehow stopped charging in between, or, lost connection with the battery as it should.
Note that this is unreliable, as the phone tends to shut off at any given moment. It suddenly freezes for 2 seconds, goes off, and the red light blinks 3 times.
Note2: I've done this "pressure-therapy" a number of times, and most of the times the battery is always drained, even when I charged it to 100% the last time.
I'm not an electric engineer, but something is telling me that the battery gets drained through another source then it should. Can we call it a short-circuit? I'm not sure if the battery is messed up. Maybe some components are touching which shouldn't after I have dropped the phone.
I'm going through the same routine again and will see what the phone does when I turn it off.
Also, the date of the phone is always the same date, but that's probably because I don't have automatic time and date settings enabled.

[Q] [HELP] Red flashing LED, won't turn on, after battery change

Hey XDA!
Got a problem with my Xperia Z1. It was working fine before the battery swap, aside from a problem with the battery (failing to hold more than 5% charge), hence the swap.
But after removing the old battery and attaching the new one, the phone will not boot, and when plugged into a wall socket, it flashes the red LED in 1~ second intervals. The pow+volume up combination doesn't result in any changes or "3 vibrations", and it won't enter flashboot mode. When plugged into a Windows PC, it registers it being connected, but when the LED turns off, the "disconnected device" sound plays, and it does this every time the LED comes on then off again.
Worst part is that hooking the old battery up doesn't work either!
I'm fairly certain I'm royally screwed but I cannot see clearly why; I checked the phone and anywhere I touched, and I can't see anything wrong. It could be that I was sent a faulty battery replacement and it broke it, or I installed it slightly incorrectly that resulted in the same thing.
Has anyone got a potential solution or am I well and truly screwed?
Cheers!
