How to relock the bootloader?

Hello,
Forgive me for my bad English, I'm French, I unlock the bootloader via the Motorola site, it has to work perfectly, but I will wish to reset the lock the bootloader, how do I proceed? On the Motorola site there is not any procedure.

If you are doing for warranty purposes it is still voided and they will charge for repair.
But if for some silly reason you need to lock it...

That's how it was supposed to work... contact Motorola I guess. Why bother locking anyway..?

Won't change a thing in terms of security, except possibly for DRM content. Read what bootloader tells you. I believe the sequence is "fastboot oem lock begin", then firmware flash, then "fastboot oem lock".

I wish to sell on my phone so i want to re-lock it to remove the bootloader warning. Unfortunately the above steps don't work for me either and I cant see any mention of how to lock the phone again on motorolas site?

Then can't you use fastboot to put the original boot logo back on instead of relock?

I tried following the guide.
I'm on the Retail EU firmware 4.1.2
When I try to flash the system, it shows some error about the file size (the 100MB limit?) and when I try to lock the bootloader without flashing system - but everything else - it tells me that something in my system is wrong...
What (if any) is the fastboot command to MultiFlash the system_signed manually?

I have that problem too... 100MB limit comes on screen.
I haven't found JB Retail British, only ICS Retail British. I want to be careful with flashing ... if you flash JB to ICS you will brick..

Any news about that?

Does not work in "Razr HD" because we do not have the files "bos_signed, gpt_signed, motoboot and radio_signed" in firmware. If anyone can help, I really need. Grateful.

Here is the sequence, a little bit different because seamless updates functionality and two system partitions:
I flashed no gpt.bin!
*(fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img) -> only when needed!
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin

I would have some doubt about bootloader too... did you see if it upgrades bootloader version?
(On old Griffin it was a problem...)
So, you used normal fastboot and not mfastboot as many hint to... interesting..!

Sorry, I don´t noticed the version before...You can try without the bootloader.bin and start with HLOS.bin.
And YES, i used fastboot from actual plattform-tools and no mfastboot without errors.

either AFH is down or i just cant access the file. ------ works now
Should this also work for U.S.?
Edit: It does flash to the TMO U.S. version but no radio.

I didnt check that however, i did have the correct APN's automatically loaded.
Right now im back on TMO software.

I'd like to see it work because its nice having a true aosp feel. none of the tmo crap even if you remove oem.img from tmo, it doesnt feel right.

Not exactly sure, but I wonder if you flash that and then take and flash the modem from tmo if it'll work. I'll try and let you know.

For those wondering, this will not work with sprint model unless you keep the oem.img from the sprint bat zip. Their provisioning apk is in the oem partition.

XT1805 -code name Senders, device Moto g5S plus. so yes the ROM made for this.

2)Use letest ROM with latest commands
3) Download the ROM with good download manager.
4)Unzip all files and folder to minimal adb root folder
5)use letest Motorola driver
6)give full processing time.

Install this tool ,and install motorola driver, download letest official moto ROM,on usb debugging to Detect device with fb command . After select rom zip and enter.

This is unfortunate ,
Try this method.
1)clear data,internal from TWRP 16 recovery
2)phone flash to official recovery.img
3)use all commends correctly don't restart
4)Use Relock command from text.
5)OEM relocked ,and fast boot reboot.
6)when you done successfully give a thanks.

I lost imei after flashing

Hi everyone, first of all sorry my bad English. well I downgrade from oreo to nougat, stock Rom, and I realize that my connectivity was gone, so I tried many methods like "erasing modems" in cmd even installing modules of xposed, but nothing, then I started to find out what was the real problem, and I found that imei is lost... So I checked it and its true, my imei is 0. Actually I didn't know that this could happen, else I would made a backup, please friends I really need your help

Flash any Oreo rom,you may get imei

first your twrp should be 64 bits, second flash rom oreo aop extended or pixel and if it goes back to stock never pass the modem commands, I will leave here the only commands that can execute

Now if your volte is working then not to worry but if it's not then follow thread for volte and recover volte after that take EFS backup of working volte and IMEI, so in future it will be helpful whenever your IMEI is gone,

Moto G6 XT1925-6 - NO RECOVERY & Reboots to bootloader

As the title says, I have no recovery and can't seem to restore the stock recovery. Also, when I boot/reboot the phone, it goes to fastboot mode. Then if I select START, it will boot to the system.
I purchased this phone used and the bootloader was already unlocked. I installed TWRP, rooted it and set it up. When I put my sim in, I could send & receive text messages and mms messages, but I was unable to talk or hear anything while on a voice call. The call is placed and/or received fine. However, once connected, I cannot hear anything nor can anyone hear me.
I want to return for a refund and have restored to factory per this guide. (the problem persists). However, I do not have a recovery. Flashing the stock recovery thru ADB appears to work but trying to boot to it goes to fastboot mode. I cannot boot/reboot the phone without it going to fastboot, then I have to select START to boot to the system. If I cannot correct these problems I will not be able to return the phone...and I can't use it as is because of the phone issue.

Remember you need root to do this and usb-debugging and OEM-unlock enabled in syste settings

I don't understand this. How do I erase fastboot reboot? It's a command to reboot.

if you use the firmware from the guide you show in the first post is probably not the right one for your device, I have exactly same model and took me a wile to figure out how to factory reset and relock it.
yes you gonna put the first commands all at once ,
then in the cmd terminal its gonna be the last command "fastboot reboot" but do not press enter otherwise it will reboot,
erase it and
add the second part of the command, line by line not all at once like the first part.
this will bring you device back to factory and relock the bootloader ,

OK. Understood. But how will relocking the bootloader help me? It reboots to fastboot...it doesn't reboot to the system/OS. What I need is a recovery to somehow be flashed and to "stick".

the last command will fix that I had same problem.
if you fallow this guide.
fastboot oem fb_mode_clear
If you want to return the Phone you will need to relock the bootloader other wise they will blame you for messing up the phone.

fastboot oem fb_mode_clear
I can have the phone reboot normally now! Thank you very much!!!
As far as returning, I got it used on eBay. The bootloader was already unlocked. It's the phone that doesn't work for actual calls. I just need/wanted to return it exactly like it was.

After reflashing stock with OPS27.82-72 (came with OPS27.82-19-4), the phone now actually works too. Very weird. I may have/want to keep the phone now.
