Hi:
Firstly, I want't to introduce myself, my name is Antonio and I'm a newbee in this forum. I want to apologize about my english, it's poor but I'm trying to improve it.
I need your help. I had a Samsunh note 3 n9005 with broken motherboard, I bought one used on internet and I was swindled. It was bricked and the owner said me that it was easy to fix it.... Now i have two broken motherboards...
I have tried to unbricked it, the fact is that I can't put it on download mode by combo key, I have to use a usb Jig, and then the phone starts in download mode.
After this, I can flash stock roms with Odin, and the procces ends OK, but the phone dosn't start, and has a bootloop, it shows the first image "samsung note3 n9005", and in blue letters in up right corner show "entering recovery" and after a few seconds it reboots again and again...
I have tried a lot of stock roms but anyone works. I think is the procces always ends with an OK in Odin....
Can anyone help me?
Anybody
Please... I need help.

HI everybody,. can u help mee!! At 1st excuse my bad english ^^. I've got a Samsung Galaxy last week. After reading about 2.2 (it was eclair) I decided to flash. I've done it succefully. But after that many apps crashes at lauching, so i decided to reflash, but i'Ve forgotten to "REMOVE LAGFIX!!!". Now stuck at Samsung Logo. No Recovery meode, >No dwnload mode 5Its now i see it was a fix for that .. sic). I've read about all methods. Isn't there another way, except cable jig thing, or sending it to customer care (they wont take it cos' flashed.. sic...)?? I'm desesperate, pls help mee!! TY
Had the exact same problem champ...
I took my battery out and put it back in, then held down Volume Up and the Home key together, then pressed the Power on button. This should take you into the recovery mode; once you're here do a factory reset. I did this and it then booted into Froyo 2.2.
Hope it works!
Edit: After re-reading, are you sure you can't get into recovery mode? Are you SURE you're doing it correctly?
Had exactly the same problem. Mine was Singtel JG4, the three button combo never worked, and can't get to recovery mode. Send it to Samsung, after analyzing, they said they can't flash it (they're using Odin btw). Funny thing is the phone able to enter Download mode but when plugged in the PC, the message is "USB Device Not Recognized". Solution:the Samsung technician open up the unit, clean the USB socket/resolder and voila.... upgraded to Froyo (pheeeeeeeew.......)
Ok, good news. After making cable Jig, mine worked. So i enjoy you to alway have one for desperates cases!! TY a lot!!
I have a big problem! i wanted to flash with Heimdall... I tested a rom, but not satisfied, i wanted to test another one and my Samsung Galaxy Tab don't want to turn on...
No Samsung logo, No Galaxy Tab logo... Nothing! Like the Samsung Galaxy tab don't want to turn on when i push the ON/OFF Button!!!
What can i do???

If you're able to provide information as to exactly what you did to get your device in this state that would be immensely helpful in regards to diagnosing the problem. However you'll probably be able to recover your device using a custom jig.
I can not be more explicit. I wanted to try a rom. Wasn't satisfied so i downloaded another one (with cache file, database file, bootloader, etc... ) but the file have been dowloaded too quickly (i think the zip file was corrupted...)
So i did the flash, and my tab don't wake up. I don't have a brick state (with the usb and pc logo). I don't have the samsung/galaxy tab logo. Ihave nothing on my screen. Like my on/off button was broken...
And whatever i do(like the combo on/off with the volume down), my computer don't recognize the tab. So i can't flash it again.

Well you're going to have to be if you want anyone's help.
What files did you flash? Which software did you use? Which version? Were you given errors? How did you flash the files?
Please provide a detailed step by step run-down of exactly what you did.
I can't remember, and i'm french, i can't find the right word to explain the situation...
I flashed my tab with HEIMDALL (the last version on the website) i think the problem is when i wanted to flash with the file EURO.pit (i choose this file in the "bootloader" category of the software HEIMDALL).
The problem... My computer can't recognyze the tab because i can't turn on the tab, so... I don't know what can i do.
EDIT: And HEIMDALL don't tell me any error. Just "Flash Complete, Rebooting"
EDIT 2: I think i used the wrong bootloader...
Up?
What can i do? Is a batterie problem?
Let your Tab charging for 5 Hours and then try again.
Sounds like you've flashed a bootloader not designed for your tablet. Luckily all Galaxy S devices store a backup copy of the secondary bootloader which is utilised when a certain resistance is detected on the USB port. You can send it off to Samsung and they'll repair it, but they might charge you. The other option is to build your own custom jig which will activate the backup secondary bootloader.
now ive got the same problem. i tried a custom recovery i found in the "bible" sticky...clock work wasnt working when i was doing adb commands. the recovery i tried is called 3e. all it would do is reboot, t-mo logo and then bootloader words would flash very quick and black screen (backlit) press the back button and i got the triangle droid.
then i got it to go into download mode and tried a rom with odin this is the rom if it helps
GT-P1000_P1000XXJME_P1000OXAJME_P1000XXJMB_P1000XXJME_XX_ITV.zip.enc
unzipped, selected in pda and clicked start. failed at the last second and the downloading android screen on tab was stuck so i powered it down.
stupid stupid stupid!
now it wont turn on period, i get nothing from usb connection or secret button presses.
ill try the "rig" tomorrow, but how will i hack up this galaxy usb to work? the guide says micro usb but obviously thats for a phone.
please help if you can, i just got this thing today
@Benjamin: I can do a custom jig for a galaxy tab?
EDIT: But i don't think the jig will help me..
"If your phone screen is always black, that is it does not display the white Galaxy S/Samsung/AT&T logo when you switch it on, then sorry, this jig will not help you. "
HELP please? Can i do a custom jig for the galaxy tab? And How?
press and hold the power button for 10 second make sure it totally off
then try to enter download mode
if u are able to enter download mode
flash roto jme v4
if it a battery problem
i think it may be battery flat, try plug it in to the charger see if it work after 10 min

I replied in the other thread but if you pulled the cable when flashing bootloaders, your phone is most likely hard-bricked and the only way out is JTAG.

Hello everyone!!! Noob here! So, I'm having a really bad problem... My SGH-T599N (or Samsung Galaxy Exhibit from MetroPCS) has been bricked. Long story short, after finding out nothing works and stumbling upon Odin3 v3.07, I plugged my phone in (in Download Mode) and loaded a [.tar] folder in the[PDA] criteria, pressed start, and all that was shown was...

Nothing else happened, so I unplugged my phone, pressed power button, but only the Black Screen of Death shows (says "Firmware Upgrade Encountered An Issue. Please Select Recovery Mode In Kies & Try Again"). Now, I downloaded Kies, but the problem with this phone is... THERE IS NO SERIAL NUMBER! I looked on the back in the phone, not there. I looked on the battery, and there it is! But.... It doesn't work (either that or it's not it, though it has "S/N:" and the numbers by it, but it still doesn't work). No now, I'm just in a terrible place. Plus, if I press Down Volume + Home + Power, I can still go into Download Mode, but I still have no idea where to go from here and what to do. Somebody please help me!!!

You can try and flash a stock firmware via odin, since you are able to get in download mode. Firmwares for your specific phone may be found here: www.sammobile.com

Don't know if you still need help but assuming you never replied to the other person's post eh I'm assuming you figured it out. If you didn't though I should first say that the galaxy exhibit 4g and the galaxy exhibit are two different phones. Also the official stock firmware for our phone hasn't been released by samsung for some reason so there's no way to go back to complete stock unless you make a backup. Here's a link for a pre-rooted stock rom though that you can flash through odin http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2489238
Same Problem here but I am not sure how to use ODIN ?
