I am starting this thread , in order members to suggest any suitable pair of earphones for Huawei Mate 10 pro. As it has usb type c exit and the Huawei earphones that come with the box are not comfortable to me, I was wondering of if the Xiaomi Noise Cancellation In-ear Earphones Type-C work with the phone.
Anyone who has tried, please inform us.
Bought the Xiaomi HD ANC USB Type-C earphones last week. They work perfectly in my Mate 10 Pro, though you do get a Huawei notification that you're using an uncertified headset.

It does. Not as good as my Sony MDR-1000X's, but better than no ANC for damn sure.

Yep, works fine. The mic is on a small block on the right ear cable. The controls are where the two ear cables meet.

I can't stand hard earphones/earpods - I like earbuds that properly fill the ear canal, not lumps of hard plastic loosely balanced in there. With that in mind the Xiaomi ones are way better, no contest.
If you like apple earpods, the Huawei ones are perfectly good imitations (without ANC, obviously).

Shanghai, at the Xiaomi MI store in the Joy City mall @ Qufu Road. Price was 299 CNY iirc.
Huawei Mate 10 pro earbuds
If I may ask about the earbuds possibilities while listening music cause I can't find it online.... ?
Double click would do next song then what about previous, fast forward and rewind?!?
Any advice guys?
Thks in advance ?
No, it's only pause/play -activate google voice -answer/hang up phone for the middle button and volume up and down for the others.
I havent been able to skip track etc on mine. But for the price, it's unbeatable if you want/need ANC. Tried them on a short plane trip last week, (I usually use MDR 1000x) and they worked fine.

Click once for play/pause
Double for next
Triple for previous
Double volume up is favourite current song
Double volume down is change playback (loop, shuffle, play once etc. )

I'm about to buy this model of headphones. Are you saying that everything works for them? Do the calls work? Does the music sound good? Have you tried uncompressed music, how does it sound?
Huawei cm-q3 are the best earphones ever. Fully working, anc, calls, controls... everything. The headphones are heard very well even for audiophiles.
Does anyone know if bluetooth 5.0 headphones work on our device? It looks like the mate 10 pro has the bluetooth version 4.2.

Hi All,
Yesterday I lost my HTC HD2 default headphone and now i'm seeking for good not so expensive in-ear headphone with mic.
Price better to <50 or =<30
Thanks for your advance and suggestions.
P.S I don't like default HTC HD2's default headphone because they are painful when using for a while and not comfortable for running.
Have you considered iFrogz EarPollution plugz? They are not very loud but have decent sound.

WOW prices are high, headphone with mic models are starting from 40$ what product do you have from this brand?
did you look at somewhere like expansys? i'm pretty sure they do a 3.5mm male to 3.5mm female cable with a mic build in. Then you can buy any headphones you like.

i got the superFi. 5 pros, they are not on the list anymore.. but were the second best universals >.<! just have them without the mic. i dont need that
i just love the quality of ultimate ears, its so awsome..

im a stupid audiophile u know >.<
I m using a combination for this. Earphone form Creative EP630/830, an OLD XDA II volume controller & the normal 3.5 jack. It is much better as i can control the volume, can change the next song or FM channel by Red call dissconnect button, play/pause and receive call by green button. So its become very handy no need to pull out the phone. also EP630/830 delivers very good base at $8 only.

There are two types with and without mic. I've got one with mic. It cost 15 euros 7 months ago, but i think there was some kind of discount.
I know this link is a british shop but these are the headphones i have : http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/...hone-3G-3GS/Product.html?ptsl=1&ob=Price&fb=0
They are great if you are on a budget and although they say they are for the iphone they work perfectly well on the hd2. The sound quality is great and the button on them functions to answer/hangup a call and also it functions as a play/pause button fo the htc music tab.
Sennheiser produce excellent quality stereo in ear handsets with inline control and Mic. They are in the upper price range though
But if you're stuck with little options as I was yesterday the Apple iPhone ones work if you don't mind putting up with sub par quality
The inline control doesn't work with my HD2

I put cheap £12 Skullcandy on my HD2 headset and it works great! In-built mic works, play/pause & track skip works too.
ultimatears, then etymotic.
mY friends has a mobile shop and the poor guy showed me more than 15 headPhones....
Not ONE PAIR WAS COMPATIBLE WITH my HTC HD7....
The Sony Ericsson ones are working but only the top part is working fine...
ALL I AM LOOKING FOR IS A PAIR that has the small ear buds and a mic...
I am open to any other company...
Or can someone suggest a company website where I can buy them, like HTC.com or Sony Erecisson.com or something...
RAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!
Currently I am using the earbuds that came with the Dell Venue Pro for my HD7. Comfortable enough to wear all day without pain. The mic works, but I'm not 100% sure about the volume rocker.
Similar to these sets... which I'm sure would work fine...
http://www.igonemobile.com/product.aspx?p=26831
http://www.amazon.com/Handsfree-Stereo-Headset-Original-16904-003/dp/B0046Z430I
The trick is finding a set that's 100% compatible. The stock headphones that HTC gives you are quite painful unless you're Shrek.
HAve you guys tried the Iphone ones ? Just a thought ..
These are probably the best bang for the buck.

With my TMOUS HD7 phone, I just use the phone mic with a regular headset and it works just fine. The phone mic seems to pick up pretty good even when driving. I never even tired the headset that came with the phone yet. The only issue I had is that if I plug it in after answering the phone, I will need to toggle the external speaker on and off for the phone to enable the phone mic.
Try the Creative Labs HS-730i, you can get those for under ~$30, if you know where to look. Unfortunately, I don't know any Indian online shopping search engines, as Google doesn't appear to have one.

Hi all...
Thanx for all your suggestions. Firstly, like I said, I have tried ALL companies. including the iPhone. To be honest, the iPhone one works. But there is no bass. Only kinnda treble.
I listen to Drum and Bass and Dubstep and it OBVIOUSLY needs a good headphone...
I was whining infront of a friend about my plight. and suddenly he said I have a sennheiser pair...wana try?? And I said, BLOODY HELL...why not...who can refuse sennheiser!!
AND BOOM!!!
Bloody hell!! WHat sound!! He can get me a good deal for it so on Monday I am gonna have one sexy pair of headphones for my 16 gig music...
But thanx a lot guy for your suggestions!
P.S: If you guys want I can tell you the code of these ones. It doesnt have a mic, nor a volume rocker...but then again, its sennheiser!!! Do i need to say more
Well, I thought you were looking for earphones with a mic... the phone has a standard 4 pin 3.5mm headphone jack, any stereo headphones under 1 watt with standard impedance will work just fine.
On a side note, though, if you want bass, Sennheiser is the wrong choice for you, they're too much focused on trebele frequency response. Philips or Panasonic headphones might be the better choice here.
Yeah... he even yelled that ALL HE WAS LOOKING FOR was headphones with a mic.
There's a million friggin stereo headphones you can use without volume rockers or mics.
the **** man.
sennheiser are ok but if you look for *the* sound, you want to try the westone. 3 real drivers, high/medium/bass. best sound around, about 400$ but I got mine for 3 years they still kick ass amd beat any other brand.

I really dont know but I think you cant abuse in here brother. It can get you banned. Yes, to answer what you have replied, i WAS looking for headphones with a mic, BUT I didn't get any..tried everything from Samsun, iPhone, Nokia..but nothing worked...
Sennies are just about OK(except the ie7 and ie8),there are MUCH better and cheaper options available.
I love my earsonics SM3 for headphones, but there's still plenty of other good choices. I suggest you go to head-fi to begin your search and narrow your budget.
Actually I am getting for a pretty good deal...they are originals...
Hi guys
I was just wondering if the included white earphones (with the mic + remote) that we got with out Note II are any good? I have been using other ones + the bluetooth Jaybird BlueBuds X, but I was wondering if the included ones are any good? I suppose I'm looking for the answer of whether they are any good for included earphones, and if they are any good in a more general term?
The reason I ask is because I have not used them or removed them from their packaging since I've had the phone (over 6 months) as I wanted to have them as new for when I eventually sell the phone. But curiosity has got the better of me but I'm wary of opening them in case they are awful.
Thanks
They are better than Apple's old earbuds for sure, but can't beat the EarPods in terms of mids and lows. I'd say they're good for bundled earphones, but sound too weak to be good IEMs.
The problem with the stock Note 2 is sound level is too low and bundled earphones are no solution for it.

The problem with cheap earphones - low sensitivity. You need to drive them with a high output signal level, and when it's loud you also facing distortion. Do you want to try something good? Use UE 600vi (these ultimate ears, which i have reviewed in my signature link, now on sale on amazon for $59) - they have very high sensitivity and even at low volume level everything will be loud and clear, not to mention these are the most comfortable in-ear headphones I ever had, and also come with mic and controls where using JAYS or 3D MAVEN free apps can turn single function button into multi-click playback control.
Regarding OP question, I have blue buds X as well and you will laugh you arse off going from bbx to stock headphones. No comparison. Btw, only a few carriers included stock headphones with their Note 2, Verizon never included headphones so you will not loose much in the value of sale if you open these up to test them out Worry more about your screen, battery cover, and the area around micro-usb connector that gets warned out.

Thanks for your info mate, will give those a look. I'm on the lookout for good earphones with a working mic that I can use when not using the bluebuds. It's a shame they don't have 3 buttons but I can live with that if they're the best in their price range.
On a side note, curiosity got the better of me and I tried the stock ones. They were ok but yeah, as expected they weren't great.

True, but you should do this mod if you're rooted.
http://galaxy-note2.wonderhowto.com...me-limits-your-samsung-galaxy-note-2-0144571/
55db was plenty fine with me, and I wouldn't recommend going over that.
The problem with headphones supporting apple controls - only function button will work, but not volume control. But that single function button will play/pause audio and video, will pick-up/hang-up call, and using JAYS or 3D MAVEN apps you can configure double-/triple-click for other functionality. I typically have double-click to skip next and triple-click to skip prev. Plus, those free apps allow you to set delay between clicks so there is no mistake (setting it longer will eliminate errors). For breaking headphones in, refer to my UE600vi review where I have a link to on-line white/pink-noise audio player loop. Hook up your headphones to laptop and let it play for 10hr, just don't put it on your ears It's the best way to break any headphones in, and with UE600vi it help with bass definition. Still not as deep as Klipsch S4A but, UE has it's own driver for mids/highs - it creates almost 3D soundstage. Of course, you can get more expensive $200, $300, $400, etc earphones from Klipsch, UE, Shure, Seinheiser and others, but for a budget price I found UE600vi to be the best. They also have regular UE600 without inline mic/control for the price, but if you interested, get the one with in-line remote/mic.
My Samsung pair has been breaking in for 6 years, and they've gone through the washing machine once!

They are actually quite good for OEMs. I like them MUCH better than most earphones in the $20 and $30 range. But nothing beats a premium earphone experience.
For me the quality of the original samsung earphone are really good.. I use, for hobby, piooner hdj2000 and the sound obviously is better, but is not bad for the original..

That's what I think too. For IEMs, you'll need to go past $50 to really make a difference. I personally prefer on-ear and over-ear sets over in-ears though.
I am VERY happy with AWEI ES-S90Vi that I bought on focalprice . Com website
They were $12 including shipping and blow away the included white Samsung earbuds (which I always thought were great till I tried Awei). Mic works perfectly for phone calls however the headset volume controls don't work, only the hang up button (skip songs etc). There are apps you can get to get around that issue.

Can't really help you man. Someone in the piston xda forums advised me this converter. I haven't bought it because as you said in the pvt message, chinese suppliers take a looonggg time to dispatch their products. Thus no point. I can't find any converter here in India too. I recommend Snab Overtone EP-81 M. Controls and mic works, metal body, thick cord and great powerful sound. Deep fully controlled bass, clear treble, mids slightly withdrawn, but still clear. The sound is addictive. I can not imagine ANY other headphones.
But... this is polish product.

Edit: never mind motorola said me thru chat that just one-button remote is supported...

2 combos!
I suggest you the LG G2 headset with volume command and mic (or Samsung's S5 headphones), but if you have a MOTO 360 you can use Apple's In-ear headphones + play music controls on the wearable! These headsets are wired. You can find on amazon or other places Bluetooth headsets too!
Right now I'm using an Alpatronix HX110 + wearable controls. But in the end you have to decide your combo according to your tastes and your budget!

Hi,
As many others I have been looking for good sounding 3-button earphones for the Nexus 5x. I had these Noirs from Degauss Labs with my old Androidphone and when I got the Nexus 5x I heard about some problems getting different headphones to work on the Nexus 5x - but am happy to conclude my Noirs still work like a charm. I tried my old Android 3-button Sennhesiers and they did not do the work with the Nexus 5x so for sure they differ by brand.
Degauss Labs Noir 100% Android headset with 3-buttons
Whats unique about these Noirs is that they do work with the Nexus 5x and also deliver really incredible sound. The Degauss Labs Noir uses two speakers where one is a balanced armature and the other a dynamic speaker creating a hybrid earphone which has all the details plus a real good bass. It is like nothing I heard before on in ear headphones, I go to work smiling every day, just love listening to NIN and other great stuff!
I would like to hear if anyone else has super great earphones to recommend, needs to have 3-buttons with support for Nexus 5x!!
Cheers

It is like nothing I heard before on in ear headphones, I go to work smiling every day, just love listening to NIN and other great stuff!
I would like to hear if anyone else has super great earphones to recommend, needs to have 3-buttons with support for Nexus 5x!!
Cheers

Hi Tony,
Here is some info on Nexus 5x + Earphones on another forum, people are having trouble getting their old earphones to work with Nexus 5x.
"There is no defect on your Nexus 5x, but you need a 100% compatible Android headset. Not everyone knows but the Apple and Android headsets differ, and actually the Nexus 5x and Nexus 5 differs too!
I tried a few to rule them out and also added the ones you guys tested so here is the list of Earphones that may or may not work with Nexus 5X - keep em coming:
1. Apple Factory buds - Fail volume +/-
2. Nuforce 700 - Fail
3. Xiomai Pistons - Fail
4. Samsung Factory buds - Fail
5. Sennheiser 3-button Android Version - Fail volume +/-
6. Degauss Labs 3-button Android Noir - Works
7. Degauss Labs 3-button Android Dual Driver - Works
So far (Lets update the list!) the only company I know have 100% hang of this is Degauss Labs. Their earphones do works flawless with all 3-buttons with the Nexus 5x. Found this video on youtube showing the Nexus 5x with the Degauss Labs Noir for Android earphones https://youtu.be/qBxAsM6PUm0
The best, Nixter
I have to comment on this..
Are Google and LG making fun of us ? After an endless odyssey the hunt for 3 button headset seemed to be over.
And now that. Are these guys kidding us ?
I can throw away all my headsets according to those test results above.
I thought there seemed to be a standard. I am really frustrated...

Xiaomi Piston 3's work fine (3 buttons).
The headset for my galaxy s4 works perfectly, not sure if that would extend to other Samsung-compatible headsets or not.
Does anyone know if any of the skullcandy buds work with these?

..OK great, mine didnt and they are out of the box Samsung branded ones (looks like Apple EarPods to the design) think Samsung has probably lots of different headsets bundled..
As this seems to be an issue depending on what brand of 3-button/ mic the headset maker is using I would say it is best you try the headset first hand to be sure. On the other hand throwing away a headset for 25 bucks seems ok when getting a new phone, but it is annoying not be "up and ready" right away.
Nevertheless my Degauss Noir´s has crazy good sound compared to my old Sennhesiers so I would never go back to those again anyways, so Im
P.S When testing your earphones with 5x note that the connector needs to be firmly plugged in, different from previous Nexuses, so there is a small click before fully connected.
Keep them earphones + 5x tests coming!!

I can also confirm that the Piston 3's work. Which is great!
Same results here. The Piston V2s definitely do not work, the Piston V3s work flawlessly (including buttons and microphone).
The sound signature from the V3s is markedly different from the V2s, so be prepared for that. I'm still breaking mine in and haven't really decided if I like the sound of the V3s or not. For under $20 though, can't complain!
The V3s are infinitely more comfortable, which is definitely a plus.
I got a pair of the Brainwavz Deltas (Android version) after reading a great review of them on The Wirecutter. They sound pretty amazing considering they were only $27.50, way better than my $100+ Jaybirds Bluebuds X. To get the Android version (with 3 button remote) I had to order direct from them instead of via Amazon, but they still got here in a week or so. One of my favorite features is they come with a pair of dense foam tips, in addition to the standard selection of silicon rubber tips - the foam ones fit my ears way better. They also come with a nice little zip up case.

Thanks for the Brainwavz recommendation, I can confirm also that they work well with the 5X. I like the sound better than the Xiaomi Piston V3 (which also work) too.
The Piston V3 has a nicely balanced sound and will work well in quiet environments, but I just can't get them loud enough on a subway platform or in other situations with a lot of background noise. Maxing out the volume on the 5X results in some nasty distortion (unclear as to whether that's the headphones' or the 5x's fault--probably both). I discovered after about a week that I needed to insert the Piston V3 further into my ear than any other IEMs that I have used in the past. This resulted in a marked improvement in sound, but didn't overcome the V3's major fault--they're just not loud enough when I need them to be.
The Brainwavz Delta (due to lower impedance or higher sensitivity?) get me the sound level that I need at a lower volume setting on the 5X, thus avoiding the distortion issue. Additionally, they have some really nice detail in the midbass region without being "boomy." They do have a very minor issue with sibilance, but that might be mitigated by using tips with a screen (like the Comply Tx Isolation Plus series). Even if I can't fix the sibilance, I still highly prefer the Deltas over the Piston V3. The buttons are easier to manipulate than the Pistons as well (although I hate that they're on the left wire on the Deltas instead of the right wire like the Piston V3).
Also, they're currently on sale for $16.50 shipped. Andeh, you might want to reach out to Brainwavz or to your credit card company to see if you can get a price adjustment.
I just received my Xiaomi Hybrid headset. All 3 buttons work. I very much like the sound and can highly recommend these.
Got them from Gearbest. They sell them for USD 19.97 at the moment.

Interesting. My piston v3 get quite loud, over 60-70% or so can be painful to me. I've always had trouble fitting IEMs in my ear but these ones fit pretty good. I know they've made a good seal when I can hear the bass.

My Samsung earphones what I got with my SGS4 is working flawlessly. (the cord is rounded, not the newer flat version)
Sennheiser Cx2.00G work with all 3 buttons.
Hi, after finding out that my Xiaomi Pistons 2.0 did not work with the Nexus 5X I bought a pair of Samsung HS130 and all 3 buttons work great, but the sound is pretty terrible compared with my old pistons.
I ordered the new xiaomi hybrid, which supposedly should work all 3 buttons.
I wonder if you can by just the cables? I have a nice set of Sennheiser that use a double-ended cable. Be nice to have actual functionality.
I must say, I'm quite happy with the Amazon Premium Headphones, which were originally made for the Fire line of products. Great sound quality and all buttons work with a range of scenarios/functions. So far, things I've tested that work are:
Music (Google Play Music and PodKicker Pro): Volume +/-, single-click center button to play/pause, double-click center button to skip tracks
Phone: center-click to answer, center click to mute, long-press center click to end call, volume +/-
TouchDown HD (email client): volume +/- will scroll through emails (mimics physical volume button functionality on phone unit)
General: Long press button to speak to google now
Outside of the above scenarios, essentially the headphones volume button mimic the phone's volume button functionality. I've received feedback that indicates the headphone mic handles windy conditions quite well, I've been happy with the tangle-free cord, and the magnetic earbuds are simply an added bonus for me. One thing that I have noticed is that the earbuds themselves are made from extremely smooth plastic that can shift around a little bit if they get greasy from sitting in your ear. They move a little in my ears, but I have huge ears so I'm a bad baseline. One thing I don't care so much for is that the male end of the cord has a bit of an oddly long, hard end that sticks out a bit more than most would probably expect. Would be nice to have an L-shaped jack, but it's not a dealbreaker for me.
Most of the negative reviews came from foolish iSheep a year or so ago complaining about how they are annoyed the headphones don't work with iPhone (apparently ignoring that they are specifically designed for an Amazon Fire product and make zero mention of iPhone or general Android device compatibility). Here's a link, and suffice it to say they come highly recommended and are a solid value:
http://www.amazon.com/Amazon-KA416Y...p/B00HX0SRXW/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8
Have anyone tried the NOCS NS500 (3 btn remote) with the N5X and can confirm if it's working properly?
Thanks in advance!
I bought the Brainwavz Deltas a week ago because of the recomendations in this thread.
After the first hours of music and many hours of usage in phonecalls i have to say that i love that headset.
The music sound is great, perfect mix of pressure and clearence.
Used as a headset for calls it's also perfect, the incall sound is clear and good understandable for both persons.
