Hello, the Hungarian Huawei service said to can not conform to Italian Huawei P10 able to connect to 4G+ network while they can confirm the Hungarian model able to connect there.
So my Italian model able to connect to the Hungarian 4G+ network or not? Until this time I see 4G icon only in notifications bar

Hello,
I hope someone can help me, I bought the phone from ebay and it's brand new, it's the dual sim, the only issue with the phone is that it doesn't connect to my provider here in Canada (Wind Mobile) can someone tell me if there's a way to change the frequency to be the same as the one of my provider or if I should just flash a rom and it would work.
Thanks,
Dan
Do you verify which bands of frequencies are used by your provider and do you compare them with the specification of your P7 ?
I was told the phone will support VoLTE andnI am going to buy it today from Dubai. Does it supposrt VoLTE or not?
P9 in general supports VoLTE, but operators let you use it usually only if you have the branded version.
for instance in EU if you buy a P9 from vodafone, it should be L09C02Bxxx, then VoLTE works when used with a vodafone SIM. If you have a vanilla one (like L09C432Bxxx in EU) VoLTE does not work.
I'm using P9 in South Korea
the South Korea firmware(C627) has South Korea VoLTE IMS Profile.
But Huawei Korea does not provide SW Update more than EMUI 4.1.
To enjoy powerful feature on EMUI 5, I have to change firmware country.(EMUI 4.1 is trash)
Main problem is, only C627 firmware has South Korea VoLTE IMS profile. So if I change firmware country, VoLTE is not work so I cannot make calls or receive Messages.(my carrier does not have 3G Network).
I see Snapdragon devices add VoLTE IMS Profile using QPST.
Like this, Isn't there anyway to add VoLTE IMS Profile on P9?
First things first you should do more research on Korean roms if there is a generic firmware that gets updates often like C432 for us. If not then switching to c432 would be your best choice and additional add your language. Now if you manage to find Korean firmware you have to make sure that volte is supported from your carrier. If not then you will have no choice over it and mostly it will not appear on your settings. Now to help you a bit more download huawei firmware finder (links are somewhere in this forum) and start your research for your model before you end up with c432and face other issues much more worst than Volte it self
I am considering buying the dual-sim CLT-L29 version of the Huawei P20 Pro, and I'd like to understand if it is compatible with wifi calling in the UK, specifically with EE and Vodafone. I understand from the networks' websites that their wifi calling should be compatible with single sims P20 Pro, even if bought elsewhere. However, both networks have said (chat tech support) they don't know if the dual sim works and they cannot guarantee it.
So, has any one tried it?
I understand from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20-pro/help/volte-wifi-calling-uk-t3776051 that the L29 works with Three's wifi calling, but Three has a poor signal in my area. Plus Three doesn't support 2G, and is the second sim in the L29 2G only or also 3G?
O2's wifi calling doesn't work with Huawei phones, according to its site.
Thanks!
Hi
I maybe after a P20 Pro but I would WiFi calling and VoLTE to work on EE and 3 networks.
Which region P20 should I get ? From what ive read Vodafone UK supply C432, but not sure on the other networks.
If anyone can confirm WiFi calling and VoLTE working on either region handset, please let me know.
Thanks.
