Hi, I 've recently bought a moto E4 plus single SIM. It seems to be Vodafone Italia branded. I' be tried to flash it with SP Tools because I wanted to solve the camera issue. The device is not responding now. I read almost everything in xda fora, but didn't revive my phone. It is recognised by computer and SP Tools but when I try to flash a ROM I get a '...to download code is forbidden in that phone' message. I haven't found the exact same stock ROM which is GEORGE nma.26.42-56.
Any ideas?

Hi I have a problem with the touch pro and it is revealed as:
the phone is not in any way to run without the charger attached. When you connect it appears in the operator logo (vodafone in my case) for a while the phone vibrates and the whole operation is repeated over.
I am able to run the bootloader, and even tried to download the official HTC rom but none of it at 2% there is a window that says:
this update utility can not be used for your PDA phone touch pro
Soft reset & hard reset doesn't work.
can someone help me or not help is ?
I am able to pay for the solution.
Sorry for grammar i have to use google translate
Simple it's a Vodaphone branded phone.
The only firmware you can prolly put on it is the official vodaphone one.
You can most probably download it from their website.
Otherwise try and call vodaphone and ask them where you can find it.
can somebody help me searching vodafone firmware for that mobile ? i searched vodafone forums but there's no helpful information at all

xt1068 lost IMEI number,Base Band Number, network after Marshmallow update recentely
I recently updated the Marshmallow 6.0 update and after that everything one xt1068 stopped working except Bluetooth. After that I tried lot of things like factory reset, cache format but nothing changed. Then I searched the forum and unlocked the boot loader and tried flashing kitkat to marshmallow again but with no output. My base band version is unknown my Imei number is null and my wifi is also not working. Please advise me if this is a hardware problem or is there any solution to this. I shall be obliged if somebody gives me step by step genuine solution.
PS. I sent it for moto g service dealer and after hearing the problem and handling my phone he said its a motherboard problem. Same problem happened to my friends Nokia windows phone last month and his problem was solved flashing the software..

Not that no one helps noobs, but not many people check here any more.
1) The real Droid Turbo forum is over at Moto Maxx, where all the updated Moto Quark custom ROMs are.
2) This phone is 4 years old. No one comes here anymore with a "new" problem. So, feel free to SEARCH for previous answers.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/search/forum/3715?query=baseband
3) Are you still running stock firmware? Is your bootloader unlocked and you're on a custom ROM? What version firmware are you running? You don't mention any of that, which may be relevant.
* If you're still on stock, the best thing to do is reflash same firmware or newer to reset the modem. Be very careful it's not older firmware, or you will brick the phone (if your bootloader is still locked).
* If you're running custom ROM, the best thing is to flash the BHB27 clear modem file in TWRP and then reflash your modem in TWRP. There's TWRP-FLASHABLE modem zip files available for all Moto QUARKS.
A single answer and i got all i want. Thank you chazzmatt. The problem was faulty baseband chip cz mistakenly my brother fell down the device. Repair guy said me he changed the chip and now all set. Thank you buddy and thanks xda

That ... I've the Moto G6 rooted with Magisk Manager.
The issue is that from the TWRP I deleted some folders and when I started again I couldn't detect neither the MicroSD or the MicroSIM, therefore the IMEI disappeared.
I've the IMEI in the original cell phone case.
Anyone know what I've to do to recover the IMEI again and have signal?
Well u can try flashing the correct stock rom.... Goto moto g6 global chat in telegram for the links and further assistance
I had the same issue but for me it got solved after flashing stock rom .. but my friend has the same issue like yours so if you happen to fix it pls tell me how?
