[THEME] [TWRP] Dark purple TWRP 3.2.1-0 theme test. - Android Themes

Hello all.
This is my first attempt on a TWRP theme.
Its still work in progress now that I want to translate it to Danish (and I'm deslectiv :silly: ) but for now this is what I got.
Now I think I what to repack it as a flashable zip (as for now I only have it as a ui.zip file) so it will be easy to flash in TWRP.
But I don't know how to do it.
But anyhow. Enjoy.

Themes?

i was just wondering on if i get around to installing a theme what if i don't like the theme after while how do i get back to the stock one?
and just to clarify this is how i install a theme right?
put theme zip in sim root
boot in recovery and push Alt+s
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=519924
Some themes have a template, which to my understanding is the stock theme, could be wrong. Or just reflash and don't wipe.
to put a theme on your phone, put on the root of your sdcard (not in a folder) if you do not have cyanogen's 1.4 recovery, then rename it to update.zip, boot into recovery, then select update.zip:sdcard (something like that) or install any .zip (if you have the 1.4 recovery image), then once it finishes flashing and tells you to reboot. either select rebooot now or hold home and back.
to wipe a theme just reflash the version of the rom you are using.

[Theme] Crystal for Vanilla Eclair (8/10)

This is a port DaRk_dOg's awesome Crystal theme
Haven't themed much really, but if you want a different statusbar background, scream out (as it's holiday now )
I haven't made any of the icons myself, all creds to DaRk_dOg, but I've mixed it a bit with default theme and such
Install instructions:
1) Download the zip and place it in the root of your SD-card
2) Boot into recovery
3) Wipe cache and dalvik cache
4) Flash zip
5) reboot
I am not responsible for any damage might happen to your device while flashing this. You flash on your own risk. Just stick to the instructions and you'll be fine. Worked for me

[GUIDE] How to keep root and Xposed while still receiving OTA updates

Hey guys. I thought I'll share what I found out on this because it will help many many out there.
Requirements : TWRP on Read- only mode, Non-rooted device.
1. Take a back up of only "BOOT" partition from TWRP.
2. Download the latest system-less superSU(stable v2.76) {http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053}
3. Flash it with TWRP(make sure you're on read-only mode, I'm stressing)
4. Reboot to system and download "System-less Xposed" ( Many don't know this. This is a mod of original xposed to fit in with system-less superSU for recieving OTAs) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3783179&d=1465938666
5. Again, flash it with TWRP. Reboot and install the Xposed Installer - Material Version(only material detects system-less) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/material-design-xposed-installer-t3137758
6. When you see any OTA, download the incremental zip for your version.
7. Boot to TWRP and Restore the Boot Image you backed up.
8. Now, Flash the OTA zip through TWRP.
9. Repeat from step 1 for next OTA and benefit.
*** DONOT FLASH SUPERSU AND XPOSED AT ONCE. BOOT TO SYSTEM IN THE MIDDLE IS REQUIRED. SUPERSU SHOULD BE FLASHED FIRST. DONOT EDIT THE /system AFTER ROOTING
This problem prevails only for the OnePlus 3 because the boot image cannot be properly patched by SuperSU.
I cannot give a 100% surity for this to work but it will, as it did for me.
Can you upload your backup of boot image and recovery image,
I would like to try something.
Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using XDA-Developers mobile app
How did the backup work ?
Each time I try to back up I get fork error

[HUAWEI Y7][TWRP-ZIP]iYTB ADFree Black Themed

Hi,
Thought i make a flashable zip for our device (ARM, API21) based on @ZaneZam 's iYTB to get YouTube without those ANNOYING ADDS....
Therefore this zip. So no need to manual install and delete things, no need of an installer...., just flash with twrp
LINK : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=746010030569948657
It's the BLACK THEMED version.
Procedure :
1. Put on extSD
2. wipe cache/dalvik
3. Flash
4. reboot
5. in playstore/settings : check "no auto update" , otherwise you'll end up as before !
This zip should work when your youtube is in system/app or data/app. Both will be wiped and replaced with the new one.
Report when zip isn't working anymore. Therefore i should update the zip with the latest version.
ALL CREDITS : @ZaneZam !!!!THNX!!!:good::good::good:
ENJOY !
don't just HIT&RUN....there's a :good: button for some reason
ps : this should normally work for ALL VERSIONS
Is there a way to install iytb via Magisk 15.3 rather than twrp?

[TWRP] 3.3.1 Aroma/Busybox compatible (ultra-low brightness)

Aroma compatible twrp (recovery.img) : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=6006931924117889478
(tested on latest April Xperia Pie : 47.2.A.10.45)
BASIC guidance :
Be sure to read NewFlasher thread carefully first (Widevine L3 instead of L1 for locked bootloader).
0) recovery download
1) fastboot mode blueLight :$ fastboot flash recovery 270recovery9omni8-1FBEkeymaster3-twrp3_3_1.img
2) reboot STRAIGHT to twrp and always backup /boot only before Magisk-ified (needed with /system only in case of complete re-initialization or format, and for Treble roms)
3) flash magisk (min 17.3)
4) boot Pie (SafetyNet and Playstore certified should be ok with latest Magisk app after few mn)
Note: don't force remove bloatware: just disable them, so they won't reappear after future ota.
Once done, with your original /boot backup ( plus complete/full Magiskified backup), you can switch, without format /data, to my (xz1 enhanced) aosp Treble /system image: https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...arm64aosp-9-0-0r21-microg-ufofficial-t3878115 , and restore back SonyXperia later with your full backup.
Future upgrade(ota):
-XperiFirm new firmware download + move away fotaKernel..sin & userdata..sin & simlock.ta + newflasher(with greenLight!)
-reboot STRAIGHT to recovery (and backup /boot only, before Magisk-ified)
-flash latest Magisk (min 17.3)
-boot Pie (SafetyNet and Playstore certified should be ok with latest Magisk app after few mn)
Optionally:
(-install Magisk Screen recorder or Snapdragon gallery, or aospEmail-SnapExchange free of analytics... )
-For better battery use KernelAdiutor with [conservative]highCpu & [ondemand]lowCpu (Adaway...)
Note: with or without su/hack, NightLight dim brightness is actually broken (wip)
Supplement:
This edition includes latest Aroma File Manager and TA partition backup: saves copies in sdcard/TWRP/ of TA, modemst1&2, boot.img plus some /vendor files like the identification build.prop ( default.prop fstab.qcom gps.conf uevent.rc). Every backup proceeds a copy of previous sdcard/TWRP/ TA.bin modemst1&2.bin and Id. build.prop in sdcard/TWRP/BACKUPS/.

No, just re-create (sdcard)/TWRP/theme/ui.zip exactly, and then launch Advanced§ReloadTheme from twrp recovery . Since I didn't include languages/*xml in them, you can only select Settings§Language without my uploaded themes (ui.zip) first. (Advanced§AromaFM & backupTA lines are also missing in regular uiBlueClassic.zip xml).
They are many twrp themes on xda, just be sure to use 3.3.0 ui.zip compatible edition.
Thanks for the new TWRP with Encryption. Device SOV36
Thank you for this fine version of twrp.
I am getting this error when making a full backup (ticked all partitions)
"error backing up system image, cleaning up folder"
I am running stock 47.2.A. 10.45 and j4nn kernel. Ric is off (i can write in system) and twrp are flashed.
i press "cancel" when asking for a password.
Normally the twrp just backup everything without any issues, so i must do something wrong??
Kind regards torben5247

You can also use these themes for the 3.3.xx twrp
https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/custom-themes-for-twrp.849931/
Or if you search with Google, you can use all the 3.2.3 theme

Why do you think it's a risk? If it doesn't work, it doesn't fit the theme and I use it!
@oF2pks
Hi, your newest version have original theme from TWRP or that from your previous version ?
Why can't I install any other ROM with this recovery?
Getting some invalid zip error.
