Hello I messed up and install the wrong xposed version and after restarting I'm having a bootloop ... I' m sure that I had twrp installed and tried to get into recovery but the phone freezes at the device name screen... The only thing that I was able to get in is the Odin mode. I tried pressing a hardware button hoping that the disabler will work but to no avail ....... please help ... I'm panicking and I don't want to delete everything and flash a new rom....

Sorry if this kind of thread is posted somewhere else already, but i've spent a lot of time but failed finding the solution to this problem.
Rooted for the first time, worked fine, installed ROM MANAGER, too, to create a backup, tried installing CLOCKWORKMOD from recovery, but since after that, my phone is stuck on the initial screen showing "SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE GT-S5830i" [Maybe this is SOFT BRICK]
I AM able to enter recovery mode, tried factory reset, unroot, etc but of no use.
PLEASE could anyone help me.? (And I've no idea of ODIN)
Please please help.
Get an idea of odin, then use it. It's different for 5830i (1.85 is the version u need)
And try to stay away from rom manager.

U're lucky to have it just soft bricked. Many others have completely hard bricked their phones.
Download stock firmware & flashguide for S5830i from www.samfirmware.com
And pls. For phone's sake... Don't use Rom Manager ever again.

Dear all,
sorry for my noobishness, but today I've learned that a Cyanogenmod 11 was available with KitKat so I decided to give it a try. I ended up here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2583895
Now, since my Clockwork Mode was 5.0.2.6, I had to upgrade it to 6.0.4.6 as suggested in the same link and so I ended up here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48806481
and downloaded it via the link in the second post.
Long story short, when I updated it to 6.0.4.6, I get a blue screen when entering recovery-mode, otherwise it works perfectly.
Furthermore, I tried to unbrick it according to this thread here but Odin does not recognize the device: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2207919
Also,I tried with Kies and even Kies does not recognise the device but when I 'turn on usb storage', my pc identifies it as GT-S5830.
Anyway, any ideas on how to deal with this?
Thanks a lot for your patience and Regards
Any Ideas guys please?
eventhough you got bluescreen, your system is normal. no need to unbrick it.
you are able to push cwm 5 recovery via odin.
*btw, i got bluescreen too.

you can flash cwm5 from cwm manager in phone, assuming your phone boots fine. Then try installing a cm10 rom first and then install the new cwm6 recovery. For me it worked that way.
Hello guys and thanks for the reply.
Yes I managed to get back to normal via Odin. At first it was unsuccessful because the USB port I was plugging the mobile in was not recognised by Odin but I changed the port and was instantly good to go.
Will see when there is another version of the clockwork mod.

Plzz someone help I did same mistake and Phone showing blue screen and USB cant be recognized in my computer and my frnds computer to someone Plzz help
Figured it out!
Hi, can I ask how you changed the port please? I can see the port registry key but what value did you change it to to get it to work?
Hi,
I got in a bootloop. I read I should flash Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip.
When I do this, the phone says the following:
Code:
install/sdcard
finding update package...
Opening update package...
verifying update package...
[COLOR=red]E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed[/COLOR]
When I reboot, my system is still in a bootloop! When I remove my sdcard, then phone starts fine.
The version of the Xposed framework I had installed is 2.6.1.
Can someone provide me Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip? Maybe my file is corrupted.
Or does anyone have other suggestions?
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 (S7710) (I don't know if that matters)
Edit: I moved everything on my sd-card to a folder called old, and now my phone boots again with my sd-card inserted.
Now I can put every program back one by one and locate the program that is causing the problems!
Edit2: Ok, everything is back in order. It was a xposed module that caused the problems.
You need a custom recovery to flash the disabler zip.
FYI: there's a combo you can do while your phone is booting to disable all modules. Check the FAQ or one of the other stickies for more info.
Can someone PLEASE tell me where i can find the "official" Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip as i can't find it anywhere and it seems like an absolute necessity in the case a module causes a bootloop.

i had already installed the framework before i learned of this zip so i would appreciate it if you could just tell me what the output said. I didn't mean to hijack this thread but it seemed like creating an entire thread for this question was overkill.
Look on your SD/external SD under Android/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/files
If it isn't there, then search for the zip using a file explorer.

Had the same issue with Qmobile Noir i9 [Jelly Bean 4.2.2] (Resolved)
hey there guys....
I have a Qmobile Noir i9 which runs a Jelly Bean 4.2.2 Rom. I have it rooted and the xposed is installed in as well. Every thing worked pretty fine till today morning when i installed some new module for the xposed. After the restart, the device got boot stuck at the lock screen. I tried lots of things and read lots of posts online and on xda as well. Mostly solutions were for the Lollipop 5.0 devices. A solution particularly suggested was that you should boot the mobile into recovery mode and try to flash the Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip which i was supposed to find on my SDCARD but I couldn't locate it there. I downloaded the zip file provided online in some post and put it on my sdcard. Now the task was to reboot my phone into recovery mode. My Qmobile Noir i9 uses the following key combinations to go to recovery mode VOL Up + VOL Down + POWER Key. And one thing that is worth mentioning here that after getting to the recovery mode, the key used for making the item selection is the PROPERTY KEY i.e. the left click soft key on your mobile. I tried to flash this recovery zip by selecting it from the SDCARD but for some unknown reason i got this message "Installation Failed". I tried countless times but couldn't get it installed. So again the hopes were lost for me. Had to Google again for some other possible solution to disable the xposed during the boot time.
After a lot of additional search i came across this post (wisdomgeek . com / android / how-to-disable-xposed-framework-on-boot/) and well this guy truly saved the day for me. Please remove the space from the url because i am right now not allowed by xda to post the external links. This method worked perfectly for my device and I was able to start my device into recovery mode and xposed was disabled. I am quoting the text from the post below that solved my issue.
"When you boot and press the power button for the first time, the device will vibrate and after that you have to repeatedly press the same button for at least four times (I didn’t count, I went on pressing it for a long period). After that your device will load into a safe mode, as it has been termed. Essentially what it does is disable Xposed framework overall."

All Credit goes to this guy Saransh Kataria. Thanks mate.
I have attached the Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip just in case if someone is able to make it work. Sorry for the long post as i felt i should explain the details so that some other guy may not suffer just like me.
Hope this helps you guys out there......:good:
Thanks
For the sake of others will wil tell you my history.
I had the 2.7.1 installed, a module started giving me bootloops, so I decide to search for help. I found this thread, in this version the command to use in terminal works like a charm. After fixing the loops I said let's use the less buggy version 2.6.1. Big mistake, command no longer worked in that version, bootloops continued. So I decided to download the file from above. And installed with TWR. Thank you very much. Problem in lastest stock 4.1.2 Samsung S3 mini.

Are you on Official or does it say custom? How many binary counts? I think the eMMC chip is damaged since mine had a similar problem and it had bricked on CM11 so it couldn't even boot! When I trying to restore the stock firmware it showed 'movi-write card_status:2' in red letters
Same thing with me, any success
