Twrp flashes and then back to battery logo - Galaxy Tab S2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys so I just recently bought a Galaxy Tab S2 and I did everything that the thread told me to do when rooting it and flashing it to twrp.
I downloaded:
twrp 3.0.2-1 sm-t713
Odin3 v3 12.10.zip
Latest supersu
Did the flashing and it passed on odin,
Then I went into recovery mode and the TWRP logo popped up
Then after the logo pops up it just disapears and goes back to the battery charging logo.
Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? or is there a fix for this.
-Thanks
Edit:
I have the sm-t713 model
8 inch

In Odin you need to uncheck in options "Auto Reboot" then flash TWRP in "AP". After flash you need to press "Home"+"Volume Down"+"Power" until the tablet shutdown. Keep pressing "Home"+"Power". Swich pressing "Volume Down" to "Volume Up". If you miss that part TWRP gonna be erased by the system.

[Q] Stuck in bootloop

I recently used Odin v3.10 to flash CF-Auto-Root but once it had finished it just got stuck on the Galaxy s6 powered by android screen. Ive tried it again but no luck, Holding recovery keys doesn't do anything either. Device doesnt even turn off when holding down power.
You could try flashing the firmware : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=60011310

Note 5 is stuck in android recovery

hi, i have recently tried rooting my Note 5 by flashing spacex kernel, so first i had to install a custom recovery i used "twrp-3.0.2-0-nobleltetmo.img (1).tar" . i installed via odin and rebooted into recovery. Once i rebooted into it i had a message with "installing update" or something like that with an android figure and then it changed to the robot laying down with a triangle with the message "no command". i tried rebooting the phone out of recovery but it just looped back to the same message
ps. the power button on the note 5 is not responsive, and it is 32gb tmobile
thanks to anyone who can help

The phone doesnt go past the samsung logo and the android recovery, when i use the button combination to go to DOWNLOAD, it takes me to the download screen but doesnt go any further.
I had a problem similar to this with my note 2 which also had a broken key, i was able to mess with the key and was ablew to boot into the phone

You could flash an official update.zip from Samsung and see if that works
What device model do you have? You must've flashed the wring twrp or something, it looks like you flashed the TMobile Version. Are you in T-Mobile?
if you can see that robot lying around... its mean you did not success to flash the twrp. it still stock recovery. try push vol button up/down several time and see if the stock recovery menu appear or not.

i9305 bricked. Vol UP button broken: can't go to DL mode

Hello,
I tried to flash twrp on a stock i9305 through Odin.
It initially seemed unsuccessful (rebooting to stock recovery) until i rooted the phone and flashed twrp again.
From twrp i then tried to flash RR rom but it refused (don't remember detailed message). I decided to give up and reboot.
The phone stays stuck on samsung logo.
I removed the battery. Restarted with 'home+volDown+power'
All i can get is the screen telling me to press VolUP to flash a ROM. My issue is that the VolUP button does not work.
I tried to remove it and press with a pin to no avail.
I can't use adb (not recognized)
Odin sees the phone but can not flash anything as the phone is not in DL mode...
Any ideas ?
Thanks a lot!

I suggest to get a USB jig. I've always one at home. Bought mine on eBay for about 2€. Just search the web.
Thanks. Just looked it up. I'll give it a shot :good:

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 [SM-T813] Samsung logo loop

So i was updating my samsung tab s2 (t813) and it shutown during the update screen (the blue one) and after that it got stuck into a loop where it flashes samsung galaxy tab s2 logo.
Tried to boot into recovery doing Power + VolUp + Middle button. it shows the samsung galaxy tab s2 logo and "Booting into recovery......" blue text at the top.
It then proceeds into "installing system update"
Booting into recovery......
Installing system update
What i tried already:
- Flashing stock from downloaded from sammobiles "SM-T813_1_20190723165601_x7k14bhnoi"
Odin Flashing Stock Rom
- Flashing only the stock recovery to see if it would fix (Flashed but still stuck in "installing system update"
Odin Flashing Stock Recovery
If anyone knows something i can do that would be great! :good:
Thanks in advance

Edit/Update:
So i was able to flash the stock firmware, battery still dead probably, charging but once i take off the charger it shuts down and starts boot loop, charging let me go to the system normaly, so its on the tab setup, i have to put the google account but i can't because the wifi button is off, if i press to enable it it goes off again. Anyone had this problem before? may it be because of a faulty battery that i can't turn the wifi on? (maybe it tells the system it is low and disables wifi?)
Luis
So my android samsung tab s2 has a baterry problem, without being in charger it doesn't start up just bootloop, if in charge it goes normaly
so i have to enter my google account as i reseted cache and format the tablet
but the wifi wont turn on during that process
butto is off, i press on it goes to off again
is there any chance this is being caused by the bad battery?
or is it a rom issue?
tab is samsung galaxy tab s2 (T813) rom is portugal rom (TPH) (also last version)

Magisk resulted in boot loop

Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 SM-G973F. I unlocked the bootloader from the Download mode, then turned on the OEM unlock from the developer settings. I installed Magisk from github, created the patched firmware, then flashed all the files via Odin.
Now the S10 displays a warning that the bootloader has been unlocked, followed by the warning it's not running original samsung firmware, and an option to click the power button to continue.
The problem is, it does not boot into the OS. No matter which buttons I press, it does not boot. It stays on this screen for a while and reboots. I cannot initiate download or recovery mode. I cannot turn off the device. It's in a boot loop.
I used this firmware (I checked it's the correct one): https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-G973F/BGL/G973FXXSBFUF3
And followed this tutorial: https://yewtu.be/watch?v=V_IeG06skk4
I am not using TWRP. Thank you for all help!

I install Magisk 23 on a Galaxy TAB S2 and had a boot loop. I reinstalled the boot.img and twrp then reinstalled LinageOS and uninstalled Magisk - Then it was fully recovered. I don't know if the boot.img was necessary.

Hi. I remember on stock A10 when I 1st rooted ,, I had to 'boot to magisk' by doing the button combo for recovery
Code:
bixby, power, volume up then let go of power after the splash screen
But with oneui 3x I think you'd have to use a reboot app. Or ask in this thread
Cheers.
