[Q] HTC One dual sim update to Lollipop1

Hi all,
I am based in India and had purchased my HTC One dual sim online (from Ebay). Now i believe i have the Chinese version of the phone as the "Settings->About Phone" doesnt have a "Software Update" option. My phone is currently running on the following softwares:
Android version: 4.2.2
HTC Sense version: 5.0
Need help to update the phone to the latest versions Android Lollipop and Sense 6.0
I am a complete rookie and thus would appreciate a step-by-step, jargon-free reply.

New XT1092 owner

I have just purchased a XT1092 and it comes with Lollipop 5.0 it has the GB firmware and wondered when the UK will be receiving the OTA download for 5.1.

Can you verify what version of the operating system you are running?
If you are running 5.0 not 5.0.2 can you please do me a massive favour and upload the 5.0.2 OTA file that you should get a notification for?
Its around 12MB so you can upload it to dropbox or drive and then post the link here. There are loads of guys asking for it on here, you should be able to download it and then connect your phone to a computer via usb and drag the .zip off of your phone.
As far as I know the GB 5.1 update is coming. Its rolled out in stages, there are different versions of the same ROM for the XT1092 model. There is a EU, FR, DE and IN versions of the same ROM, im guessing theres extra languages in each one or subtle changes on the settings, I know the EU one has been released but I cant update to 5.1 because im stuck on 5.0 and its not giving me the notification to update to 5.0.2

Thanks for the reply, im running 22.121.1.victara_retgb.retgball.en.GB retgb which as far as I know is Lollipop 5.0.
When I search for an updated firmware it says im running the latest firmware.

Hey guys,
I have an HTC One M8 831C Sprint ( Android 6.0 ). The device was bought from USA. Right now Im in India. When I put on any SIM card it will say "Invalid SIM Card: 4G services are unavailable as the sim/uicc is invalid.". I saw some posts regarding how to unlock lollipop devices. Can someone help me in unlocking the marshmallow version? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, follow this tutoriales, if the insertcoin rom don't work, use any other Android 4.4 rom.

If I want to install Android Pie, which version to install on my version of XZ2(H8296

Mine is the Taiwan version with 6GB ram and dual sim, and we still haven't gotten Android Pie, and our last security update was in septermber.
If I want to install Android Pie version from another region that doesn't have the dual sim and 4GB will it cause problem, and if there is another region, which one is it?
