Finally I have a version of Gcam with with front and back camera portrait mode and working on android 7.1.1 as well on my MI MIX 2
Note - Now you don't need to purchase dual cam phone for portrait mode. U can do it with just a single cam
Pre-requisites
1) Any phone running android 7.1.1 and above
2) Unlocked bootloader
3) Working Twrp.img, Magisk 15.2 zip, camera 2 api enabler zip
4) Version of Gcam which I have provided
5) Lots of guts
Please note - I am not responsible for bricked device. U do this at your own risk
Procedure
1) Flash twrp, boot in twrp and swipe to allow modification (Necessary to mount system)
2) Flash magisk 15.2 zip then flash camera 2 api enabler
3) Reboot to system and install the provided Gcam apk
4) Open the app. Voila ! Now u have working portrait mode in both front and back cam
Note - This worked on my MI MIX 2 but it should work on any device
I am posting sharable links from my google drive account for Gcam, Magisk and camera 2 api enabler here
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1rL3OztwDVhGK0hppPXUi2aKfrFcmYpmE
U can check the pics for the awesome results

It adds blur in the background.
Works fine for me with latest Gcam5 1.6
Autofocus also works if you force HDR+
The version from OP completely breaks AF.

As in, you don't need 2 rear or 2 front cameras for the bokeh effect, since it can be done in software.

Thank you brother. I can finally use this phone as my daily driver. Stock MIUI and camera are pure Garbage. This Camera mod combined with RR rom makes me comfortable enough to leave my Pixel 2 xl at home. Thanks again.

This used to be the support thread for the MagiskHide Props Config module. It isn't any longer...
Because of reasons, the support thread has moved here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-magiskhide-props-config-t3789228
If you came here following a link, please ask the link provider to update said link.
Works!!!
Thank you
Small update.
v1.1.0
New fingerprint added (Sony Xperia Z3).
Added the ability to update the fingerprints list automatically
Now, every time you run the props command, the fingerprints list will automatically be updated if new prints have been added.

If you're asking if the module can hide Xposed, the answer is: no!
This is real nice fellow, thanks!
Here's my little contribution, if useful for someone out there, a working fingerprint for the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (tested by myself on variant SM-G530H only with AospExtended 4.6):
Code:
samsung/fortuna3gdtvvj/fortuna3gdtv:5.0.2/LRX22G/G530BTVJU1BPH4:user/release-keys
Cheers.
Updated the fingerprints list to v2
Added fingerprint for Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime, thank you @abacate123.
The list updates when you run the props command.
Pixel 2 passes, but if you want it for completeness sake:

This module should not fix cts by itself, it's a tool for you to fix it yourself by changing your build fingerprint to a certified one through the terminal commands (read the OP again).
Have you applied any certified fingerprint yet? If not, download the stock rom for your device, open it and open the build.prop file, find the "ro.build.fingerprint=" line, then copy and paste its content here or manually apply it through the terminal commands.

UPDATED FOR MIUI 10 (OREO)
Magisk 17.1 MINIMUM is REQUIRED!
This module activate many features that's deliberately disabled by Xiaomi even tho the device itself supports it such as:
1. Enable Camera2 API, EIS, Zero Shutter Lag, 60fps mode, many other camera features.
2. Activate the [Full screen gestures]
3. Disable the hardware capacitive keys - by: null4n @ GitHub.
4. All camera sounds will be disabled.
5. Replace system emoji font with latest Android Pie's emoji.
6. iZat configuration mods.
7. Thermal engine mods.

yup, its supposed to be like that as detailed in the 3rd point:
2. Activate the [Full screen gestures] & disable the hardware capacitive keys.
This module activate the onscreen button (you got [Full screen display] menu inside Settings as well, you can activate the [Full screen gestures] and the nav bar will be disabled as well... Enjoy

yes, you are right. Didn get the point of activating Full screen display mode, for screen gestures?
i think, our hardware buttons is much usable. But stabilization in camera begin to work, but with a little ^input lag^
google camera work also.
Will this work on aex rom? Also how to revert back?

no, it's for MIUI only as AOSP based got diff files layout.
to revert simply uninstall the module within Magisk (asuming you use Magisk).
I tried installing it via magisk but it says this zip is not a magisk module. I downloaded again and tried but same. I also tried through twrp but i knew it wouldn't install

It'll work except the device specific features as it'll replace file inside /etc/device_features/ folder....
GPS, busybox, hardware capacitive button will be disabled & you can activate the full screen gestures.
But all camera related mods will not be in place since it will not replace the xml file (file name is different between devices).
I dunno how to make Magisk to append/replace lines inside the [whatever the device name is].xml file inside those folder.
Any help will be appreciated.

Does the mod work on MIUI 10.1.3 (Pie EU) for Poco F1 ? I'm mostly interested in the 60 FPS video recording.
Hello,
I was quite happy of HyperCam before my device got updated to Android Q. It had most of the features working, plus on screen buttons to switch between the 3 cameras.
Of course, since I received the update it does not work anymore. I found a Hypercam based on Gcam v7, but i can't access all the camera modules.
What are you guys using on MIUI 11 ?
Thanks
V.
