Is there any stock android roms for the mi5 that is stable and fast, that has double tap to wake screen?

try lineageos 14.1
I use it with floppy kernel, but stock is also good.

Nop, double tap wake up still not working with newer stable version which is (MAACNDB)

No. I had to enable it under Display settings after i got the 7.2.12.0 China stable via OTA

Thanks,found it. It works fine but I am not sure it's very useful if fingerprint lock is set.

Instruction
Unlocked bootloader required. Download ROM and flashing with TWRP. To use Mashmallow builds, you should start from some MIUI Mashmallow build, so the baseband of your phone is Mashmallow; To use Nougat builds, you should start from some MIUI Nougat build, so the baseband of your phone is Nougat (if you have never installed Nougat on your phone, flashing a Nougat build from Xiaomi first).

Use 7.1 nightly, it is more stable then 6.0. You just need to fix low volume and everything is fine.

How do I fix the low volume? LineageOS has a low volume fix. Is there something like that for Mokee? Sorry if this seems like a noob question.

Same as lineage, go to build prop and change fluencetype param from none to fluence.

Fingerprint didn't work and no other problem with me.
Please can anyone comment on battery life?
The bug in having is the touch bug... Where the screen will suddenly stop responding.... Until reboot or touch and hold the screen then use another finger to touch... Hope this can be fixed soon

Because of battery life, smoot and most importantly no bugs in my mi5s, all work well and i've tried various rom for mi5s and this is the best. sorry for my bad english
Is there any ways to copy Mi 6x Kernel to Mi A2 to enable double tap to wake or something else?
Even if you flash 6X kernel, you wont have option in settings to enable it.
If you want double tap to wake, flash miui 10 or AOSP extended ROM. Both works flawless.

I tried AOSP rom but fp is not available, face unlock is not available even reinstalling Gapps micro, and using Gcam is not working
I guess I have to wait for the update or other roms to come
I was thinking using kernel adiutor but I guess its not possible too on stock rom
Use custom rom for 6x not a2. You need to convert to 6x first. Flash AOSP extended, not aosp gsi rom. AOSP extended is oreo based and do not have any bugs, but you have all tweaks you want.
Use open gapps nano 8.1. face unlock works and everything else.

if you like aosp, i'd recommend beastrom! lots of customization and stable. might wanna flash 27th build though, latest has slightly higher battery drain...

But directly unlock with fingerprint isn't working in beast rom. This is for me a reason why to stay on xiaomi.eu

If you like xiaomi.eu could always try globe rom from rom builder website, has a few more customizations it's based on xiaomi.eu
I'm fine with oneui ones but id really like an aosp rom, im not sure about aosp android 8, how's the experience, does it have wake delay like aosp pie roms? btw i dont game much i just want a good overall rom im fine with android 8, 9, and 10 roms
