I found link and instruction for upgrade, unbrick, back from custom rom, etc....and I hope that it will be useful for the most people. My recommendation is to use force upgrade method with three buttons. Enjoy!

I used those service roms with same method for p10 lite, p9 lite. I didnt try this one, but, I dont expect any problem because instruction is provided by Huawei. Just, read instruction, but again my recommendation is force method. Because, normal upgrade is not necessary with this rom, ota, or ffinder are more efficient. But if someone bricked phone, or has custom rom, this is the best thing for rollback to stock rom. The reason why to use forced method iis simple, because with three buttons first flash stock recovery and than stock recovery automaticly repair all system and upgrade all things.

No, no this rom is not for rollback. Only if you have issues with Nougat mentioned servise rom is usefull. But if You try rollback from Emui 8 with this yiu can brick phone. For rollback from Emui 8 to Emui 5 must use official rollback from ffinder.

How did you brick phone on Emui 8? Only solution is to try to unlock bootloader in fasrboot and downgrade using twrp, hwota. Method for rollback you can find here in our section. https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10-plus/development/downgrade-p10-plus-oreo-to-nougat-t3724382

Long story. Three days was trying to get it unbricked, even it was in service shop, but they didn't do much
however, upgrade from nougat to oreo didn't went well at first. Almost an hour it was installing oreo update zip file in twrp, so I had to turn off the mobile phone in middle of process. At last, it booted to Oreo, but after a first restart (changed overall appearance from large to medium), it just bootlooped. As I had nandroid backup of nougat in twrp, I tried to restore to that, and my problems just got bigger. I tried to go back to oreo again, multile times, different builds, but no luck. Than I found the method you linked, and with great help of guys from Telegram group, it booted again in OS. Hell yes
Strange thing that happend that it didn't booted to Nougat, but in Oreo acctually. Probably LowLevel format helped to fix partitions and stuff, after that bootloader was unlocked again, As for now I have bad Oreo version (8.0.0.046) will rollback again to Nougat.

Hi all I used this service rom and it got my phone working again but there are problems the dialer and contacts apps do not work anymore I had to Install 3rd party apps and software update is gone the project menu won't come up when you key in *#*#2846579#*#* command. Fastboot won't let me install twrp fastboot screen shows bootloader unlocked. Frp unlock As it stands I'm stuck with a working limited phone. Does anyone have any ideas I could try

Please let me know where I can find the service ROM for a VKY-L09 (P10 Plus).
The instructions on this forum are written very garbled and not clear enough for me to take a chance and upgrade my phone from Nougat to OREO.

But, you have stock emui 5 or some custom rom? Im asking because if you had stock rom you had to get regular Ota to emui 8. If you have custom just try to.use Hwota method from mentioned link. so, i'm using p9-eval09 with c432b182. a few months ago i dont know how, im surprised as well, i rooted this phone with twrp and supersu. thing is when it came up to create a back-up dont know what didnt work and down the stream my back`up went. now i want to go back to stock as i will have warranty issues cause im not happy of the battery life. in order to do that, i have to get back to stock rom and stock recovery. will any of you guys will be nice enough to give me a hand with this? help would be much appreciated and ill buy you some beers and give you free unicorn rides. god bless

You can use this link to download the rollback package

once you download it.
unzip and put the update.app in the dload folder on your external sdcard in your phone.
you have to manually create this folder in your external sdcard.
once you do this
type
*#*#2846579#*#* in your phone dialer
then you will get a menu
in that select
SD card upgrade
then you wait.
it will reboot and finish rolling back to stock.
Remember this will get you back to stock rom, but you will have to upgrade to some other ROM for your L09 after rolling back.
I do not have Huawei P9 but I have Huawei Mate 8 & Huawei Mediapad M3. I feel that there are lot of similarities between Huawei phones & that is why I feel you can make it work using these steps.
Hope this solves your problem.
For updating to EMUI 5.0
you can use firmware finder from play store.
Install the app

in the settings of this firmware finder app
switch on "add on proxy"
now go to your WIFI-settings
tap and hold your WIFI connection
modify network - select manual
there you put the following

then go to firmware finder app
search
download the right firmware for your P9 L09 and then click on "send the firmware to updater"
now
go to settings
update -> you should see the OTA for EMUI 5.0
But don't this now. First you have to rollback and only after that go for this EMUI 5.0 update.

Have you tried their consumer site? Just download the original, i did so, and the rest will come OTA.
I'm using a rooted huawei p9 Eva l19 on b390 stock firmware. Unfortunately she is sick and her Bluetooth is not working. I read on the net that clearing the cache of the Bluetooth app would help but I can't find the app in settings.
Any suggestions

I don't have the time to try right now, but i will do it tomorrow night, let's hope we will have good working phones soon again.
If you need back to Android use rom from Huawei website and download Android 6 than use method 3 buttons

I dont have time right now to do this but I know how to
You must first download the rollback package for your p9 model from the huawei website
Then download an older version of marshmallow (not B182, use an older one)
First install the stock recovery
Flash the doll back package using dload
Boot up
Flash the marshmallow firmware
Done
You should probably remove the fingerprints before

I did step 1 and instalation was successful 100% but now when i go to about phone my android version is 5.0 NRD90M test keys, not c900b300.
I didn't try to do step 2. because i don't know so much about nrd90m.
Maybe my rollback package is not good, is there difference about rollback package for l19 and l09?

That is the correct rollback. You just need to download and flash your stock Marshmallow firmware. In my case (eva-l29c636) it was B191. I had the exact same test keys in "about phone" , so just go ahead with step 2.

Thanks for your help. I was suspicious because it's not c900b300 after rollback package, it's ''NRD90m test keys'' and i didn't know can i flash full firmware when build number is nrd90m, so i stoped there. I will try to flash full firmware tomorrow.
Do i need to factory reset now or enable OEM in developer options before flashing full firmware or maybe flash rollback package again and maybe then i will get c900b300?

Yes, your data and apps will be gone. When you flash your M firmware it's going to make everything new as if you just opened the box. Sorry if you did not know that. I don't think there is any way to avoid that. I was just setting my device up and noticed an OTA update to B386 Nougat which I successfully updated to BUT then I found out that my P9 will not work on Nougat. I cannot scroll at all with it so I had to find the rollback firmware. I flashed it then immediately after that I flashed B191 Marshmallow and all is well. Nothing else. As I said, you will, however, lose all your data and I don't know if a backup can restore it for you.

Hey friend, i just install full mm firmware and everything is good now, i don`t have nrd90mtest keys, i have now l19c432b182, i found on huawei site for l09 they have rollback package and full firmware b182 so i found for l19. I think good firmware is the key of rollback, and b182 is the best for it. Thanks so much for your help!
I have only one problem, i can`t change themes. I can see themes and when i click apply it, it is successful but it didn`t change. Did you have that problem too?

I just assumed that was something that you would have to download and install from a Huawei website or get from a 3rd party app. Anyway, it does not concern me as I only care about throwing a pic on for my desktop. What really annoys me is that I cannot run Nougat on my P9

I don`t know why is it like that, like some data folders missing from system. Old icons and theme problem, idk how to solve that.

Maybe it`s better for you my friend, emui 5 have great design and everything i must say but battery life is better on mm, bcs of it i rollback to mm. But i don`t know why u can`t get official uograde. When i rollback to mm b182 i got instant upgrade to emui 5. Maybe your version of mm is not good bcs when i had emui4.1.3 i got upgrade to b386 and now when i have 4.1.1 i got upgrade to b383. Maybe you can try to install another version of mm.

You can update with firmware finder app on playsore, search on forum, you will find tutorial for it.
Or with 3 buttons combination and dload if you can find update, or with twrp if you have it and you will need update file too. Just search on forum tutorial for it and CORRECT update for your phone, single or dual sim whatever you have and with c900 bcs u have global version.

Let's get started
1. Backup you data (because data will be erase)
2. Go to Fastboot mode (Bootloader it's already unlock in Oreo)
3. Download & Open Huawei Mate 10 Tool (by FH)
4. Connect the USB and Select Root Huawei Mate 10 (Type 1 and ENTER)
5. Wait..... (You phone will be restart 2 times)

I hold VKY-L29C636 and reband to AL00C00 for upgrade form B217 to Oreo v.8.0.0.310
I want to rollback because I can't use and useless some features in this rom and 3D it's not better than Nougat.(but I used to wipe everything before installed Oh gosh!!! 3D it's very very goooood but more bug too. I don't know why)
I think this rom are made for using in China ONLY!!! I tried all means on the internet (eRecovery,dlod,FF,HWOTA,HWOTA8) but I got false!!! LOL

Hey, i guess its too late but if it helps...
basically, you download Hisuit for PC (the latest version) and install it on the computer.
Then, you need to follow the instructions (connect the phone by usb, then go to setting and press on allowing HDR and accept the request to connect on the phone).
Then you go to install previous version, and you can download and install the version that your phone got from the factory, for me it was B172 on my VKY-L29 (C636). So basically i downgraded from Oreo to nougat (370 to B172).
The process takes about half an hour.

Hi everyone! I decided to go back to stock from LineageOS 14.1, because 3D and AnTuTu Benchmark didn't work, just showing black screen and nothing happened. In any game did the same. So I decided to restore a TWRP backup, and I did that. It restored, but when i tried to boot up, it just stayed on the Honor logo. I tried to put the UPDATE.APP onto my SD-CARD and try to reinstall the OS, but I noticed something in TWRP, /data didn't mount for some dumb reason. I didn't think that was something bad so I ignored it. After installing the UPDATE.APP, it still does the same, stuck on Honor logo.
I know I f*cked it up, but now I want to get it fixed. Please help me !

Tried downgrading to EMUI 4.1, and downgraded well, until it remained on the Honor logo screen. I tried with different versions of NEM-L21C432 stock roms for my phone, and only the ones with 13x worked to upgrade to, but the Nougat ones didn't. And it also blocked my bootloader again, because of the downgrade to EMUI 4.1 by holding both volume buttons and the power button.
If you downgrade, first u have to use downgrade package and then install rom version NEM-L21C432B132 and then use updater in settings to upgrade to nougat, dload method doesn't work with emui 5 roms.

The thing is I came back from a custom rom, more exactly the Lineage 14.1 developed by Meticulus, but it was EMUI 4.x based, so... yeah. It shows that the EMUI version is installed is NEM-L21C432B130. I tried upgrading through update.app and no luck. However, the bootloader locked. So, I send HuaweiMobileUK a tweet to give me the bootloader code for my phone. And sure enough, 2 days later, I have the bootloader code and unlocked the phone. I am going to attempt to install TWRP and then wipe everything except the SDCard and flash the update.zip with TWRP. I will try that and let you guys know if it worked.

So, I send HuaweiMobileUK a tweet to give me the bootloader code for my phone. And sure enough, 2 days later, I have the bootloader code and unlocked the phone. I am going to attempt to install TWRP and then wipe everything except the SDCard and flash the update.zip with TWRP. I will try that and let you guys know if it worked.

Ok, so I tried wiping everything except the MicroSD Card and installing the update.zip FULL-OTA MF NEM-L21C432B132 and it worked. The phone still has the bootloader unlocked and now it works perfectly. So this is a good solution that worked for me ! Thank you guys for help anyways!
