What is wrong with Huawei

Love the phone but i think this is my first and last phone from Huawei.

Same over here, first and last, to expensive device for few or almost non OTA or full update and over all very bad support.

I have C432 as well but with B181 with EMUI 4.1.1 OTA

I flashed C432 a few days ago and the OTA updates stopped in B170. I guess it depends on the region, in which region are you @Winterwolfbe?

I live in Belgium... Updates doesn't seem to happen fast but we seem to get them. I friend of mine has a even later version on his p9 lite, stil no EMUI 5/Nougat though.

The 5.0.1.302 version is only for emui 5!

I can't create an European ID. I'm even using proxies from Europe and the page detects Hong Kong as country lol I'm stuck with no European countries

I dont get any OTA when change to ITA.
This blows!

I'm living in switzerland (europe-model C432) and changed the country to italy. no update

Yeah that's a big problem I see with huawei even though I'm loving the phone and it's camera. Security updates are super important !

If they wanna take the market fight with Sammy and others they need to f***ing stepping up the updates cross models.

I update from version VIE-L09C432B170 to VIE-L09C432B181, I had to just update Hicare. Then I am going to update me appeared the update now. I would not know how to help you. One solution is to find the files for dload VIE-L09C432B181

1 - Download this zip fit into sd card in the folder dload
2 - Turn off the phone
3 - Press both volume up/down and power

Yup! Totally! Ive been using the latest BlackBerry android devices which have the fastest android Updates besides Google phones.

No you're not the only one. I've had 3 different honor phones and i can tell you now if you're expecting regular, or even consistent updates, you've bought the wrong phone. Honor are really bad with updates or they'll update one region but not another, e.g both india and Germany have had at least one update, here in the UK we've had none. Honor haven't even put up the stock firmware yet.

Not getting oreo update for my p10 plus

Hello, i've been wondering why i cant get the oreo update on my p10 plus while everybody else is. My most recent update is vky-l29c576b170 .
I'm not getting any new updates and that's frustrating since i know most p10 plus devices should have it already.
Can somebody help with this one?

I had the same problem with my p10, i used huawei firmeware finder to update to oreo, now im receiving monthly official updates with no problem ( Ps : if huawei ff doesnt work uninstall updates of the app "system update" in play store and it should work.)

on huawei firmware finder it says my model is VKY-L29C576 and that the latest update for it is VKY-L29C576B170 as i stated before.
can i download updates from other models and install on mine?. found a model called VKY-L29C432 with its latest update being VKY-L29C432B376 which is oreo.

No you'll have to rebrand your phone first if you want that. This involves unlocking your bootloader, which Huawei doesn't support anymore.

So at this moment in time i'm stuck at nougat because i cant unlock my bootloader.

Yes, until Huawei pushes an update for your brand. DC unlocker can unlock your bootloader, but it will cost you about 5 USD.

Is it me or DC unlocker's web page for buying credits is down?

I did not get a new update for more than a year, phone was stuck on Nougat version. I recently called Huawei support, explained the problem, they asked me IMEI and told me to wait two/three week. Yesterday I got all updates, now on Oreo - 8.0.0.375 version .

Yeah... Im currently at 138. I guess that it is deployed currently at LLD-L21 but cant confirm unless others did.
First, i tried the newly improved screen recorder. Seems like it is promising cuz at last, i can now make game recordings with audio.
Second. App launching improvements... I think that i cant feel it.
Just noticed about the screenlock. It doesnt animate anymore when you boot up your phone. That's a plus for me.
Just a note. This version isnt available at firmware finder for unknown reason.

186 was last march, 2 months ago which is also for dg from emui 9. Im currently at 138 which is last april and there is a new update for L21 which is 139. You might want to check firmware finder just to be sure that your device is following in the update.

Good evening, I'm a little lost.I repaired a screen of a 9 lite honor that fell. But still black screen. I made several manipulations.
The screen worked. In reality, it is the software that is damaged. at startup the screen flickers twice on honor and it disappears.
To be fast. I'm not watching the current firmware. I made the update. Currently I am in 8.0.0.144 (C432). unable to recover the official firmware for repaired the honor. I can not find anything on the subject. Can you guide me? Please.

i didnt try to flash anything in this phone yet. use HuRu sowtware to revive your phone.

If you are not in beta tester group it is not possible to flash.

This update has allowed me to uninstall mi browser and a few system app like 12.5 was supposed to from the start. I had to select uninstall fro the system clean list to do so though as the app list still shaded out disable.
