I got a Xperia Z1 and i recently changed the buttons board inside the phone, but unfotunately I broke the microphone you use when you are calling, but the microphone in speaker mode still work.
Where call microphone is placed on the board, and which element I have to replace to make call microphone working?

I seem to have a problem when using the speakerphone. I can't be heard on the other end. Regular calls are fine.
I'm using Cyanogenmod 10.1.3. As I understand the phone, the regular microphone is at the bottom edge on the keyboard part of the phone. There's another microphone (noise cancelling?) on the top edge near the power button. The speaker is the slot on the back. Does that have a microphone function too?
I recently replaced the earpiece like so many other people have. Could I have disturbed something near that top mic?
I was wondering if there's a way to test the mic near the power button.

Hi, like you now, the Xperia Sp has two microphones: one principal and the other for mute noise.
My principal mic is broken and i wish someone can help me to make the second mic works like first in calls.

i got a Xperia Z from a Friend who wanted to throw it away cuz some parts were broken.
i could fix it to the point were everything is working except this:
Cameras (not found it says but its connected, so i guess i need new modules?)
Microphone (in the service menu test, secondary microphone is working, only the "main" isnt)
Bluetooth couldnt find my bluetooth headset too, but thats not that much of a problem.
Flashlight LED
So my main Question is, if i replace the whole flex cable for the power btn and volume buttons (where the microphone is located?) itll work again?

I am facing exactly the same issue, got screen replaced of a water damaged phone and now the microphone not working. Now can't make calls on loud speaker as my voice is not heard on other end....any solution?

Few months ago, my phone screen broke. I took it to Moto Services and, after the fix, I noticed that the microphone used in videos recordings was broken. While I can't really fix the phone, I'm thinking about using a working microphone in videos recordings (and others functions) to replace the broken. I want to know what I have to change in the Mixer_Paths.xml file to replace the signal of the broken mic.
