Kingo Root is like one click and you are done. It's that easy.
Once you root your phone using Kingoroot...You can install Safestrap recovery. Which will allow to flash custom rom located in here. But you can't flash kernels using Safetrap since our Bootloader is locked.
Google "TWRP recovery FAQ" (Safestrap is based off TWRP) or something along those lines and it will give you an idea of what you can do with custom recovery.
P.S. You got lot to learn young grasshopper. Start Googling. Trust me, I didn't knew jack about Android until I got my N3, about 2 months back.
Hey guys
I have been trying to root my AT&T note 3 mj5 with kingo but have had no luck. Every time I connect my phone, it says it's an s2 instead of a note 3. I have tried with kies 3 installed and uninstalled, I have deleted every samsung driver from my PC and reinstalled the note 3 drivers. I have installed and uninstalled the drivers from kingos website and from Kies. I am having no luck at all. I have restarted my phone and PC probably 25 times in the process. Every time I try, I also get the pop up on my phone saying something is trying to access my device. It's the little shield icon...not sure if it's Knox or not.
Can anyone help me out?
Edit: after looking here more, I realized I still had lookout running...so that's part of it. So now I have to figure out why it still says s2 in kingo.
If kingo don't work go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48243768 and download rldv.zip
Extract rldv.zip to the root of your internal sdcard Reboot, then once SuperSu installs, Reboot again.

Hi there , I see you rooted your Stock 5.0.2 via Kingroot. Did you manage to get root successfully ?
Also, were you able to get custom recovery / TWRP on it ? Please let us know

Hello iKevinShah.
I rooted the phone successfully with no problems using Kingroot.
I tried to install TWRP using the XZDR link which nzzane suggested but there is no option for installing it with Kingroot as the superuser software; only SuperUser & SuperSU, not Kingroot yet.
I made a comment in the forums about it but have received no response yet. I have not been able to install TWRP yet.
So instead, I opted to do my backups with Titanium Backup for now.
I Originally used Online Nandroid Backup app, which worked perfectly for me. I ditched it when I learned the developer had stopped updating it.
hi
pls help me
how i can instakk exposed on my note 4 rom stock of lollipop
im very cinfused from all details that i found in google
pls help me
Right now you can't, I think.
Unless I'm confused, you can't get root access on the Note 4, and without root you can't even start to install Xposed.
Root is okay
my phone is rooted, but i want exposed

So...I guess it technically works. I flashed this linked file with modified version of Odin then ran root.bat. Samsung phone info app says i have root and i even get the prompt to deny or grant access to apps but have yet to actually get one of the apps requiring root to open. Flashfire has been sitting on loading for about 10 minutes now. One thing for sure is, it is SUPER laggy. I.don't recommend it. Not worth it in my opinion, ill probably go back to MM if i want root.
There was "Onion root" for 6.01 in the T-Mobile area. Has anyone tried that? Will it work for this Nougat test kernel?

Onionroot is just an automated process to flash the engboot.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-s7-edge/how-to/root-method-nougat-t3566978
buggy bout the same as mm
I guess if someone required payment we can consider it lol
But please ......
Could someone consider providing a full system dump from AT&T Galaxy S7 Edge with N ?
I'm told that this should be able to be done without root using a root explorer app or with an abd pull command
We would greatly appreciate the files in order to get VoLTE and proper CSC for our SM-935F devices!
We do not have proper CSC
Thank you!!!!
I knew from beginning this was a BS post to gain thanks etc his account is disabled any moderator please disable and delete these threads he made in s7 news and here.
Root without an unlocked bootloader ends with N. The wise saw this coming. I doubt anyone will "leak" the tools to unlock bootloader. I'm staying on MM with exposed and lucky patcher.

im rooted using n eng kernel
I just ran across this root method which appears not to use the engboot and apparently works on the AT&T SGS7 edge. I have yet to read the rest of the thread, but it has been mentioned in a couple Android sites.
Basically I'm very new to the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra. Came from the 8 pro, which is very easy to manually flash full upgrade zip packages.
Currently I'm on firmware a AUB9. I want to manually flash AUBB. I managed to get TWRP and root fully installed.
What are the exact steps/easy way to flash AUBB, while keeping TWRP and root?
.
No imo, root maybe but definitely not TWRP. Try searching info about Note 20 Ultra ROOT + OTA I remember seeing that it's possible so should work with S21.

You can disable them with adb.

Yes
Once somebody makes a flashable zip file of the full firmware and integrate root with it then yes it's possible. But by using Odin? Definitely no.
