Accidentally wiped the system in twrp.
How can I install an OS for my phone?
Been trying installing DLOAD through microsd, not working.

Maybe, you can try to connect on the pc and run Hi-Suite .

Hisuite cannot restore the OS. Just apps, data, etc.
DLOAD works (in certain cases) mostly if you are updating to a higher build. Hence, 'update.app'
Your best bet is to flash the firmware which came with your phone out of the box and then upgrade builds once you are up and running. Make sure though that you have fully unrooted your phone and relocked the bootloader.

Happened to me too !
any one can help?

extract system.img from update.app with huawei extractor then boot into the bootloader and flash system.img

[HELP][SOLVED] Bricked my P8 Lite 2017

i need help to unbrick my p8 lite 2017,
to start my phone was with "cust c555 pra-lx1 emui 5.0.1"
my initial idea was to debrand the phone, but all the guides I tried failed, always returning to the original ROM stock,
then i backup my oem info image, custom.bin and build.prop...
then I wanted to change the method, trying to install oreo emui 8.x, with this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/development/tool-flash-official-firmware-recovery-t3769279
but result was failed, (I only have a doubt, when I was downloading the zip file hueuupdater via twrp I was doing it from the elite twrp and not from the twrp nochek oreo.....)
* last attempt was flashed via elite twrp an oem info file img (of a fw base nougat nobrand, corrected for my model pra-lx1)
after having opened the file oem, the problems have started, the phone does not go in fastboot mode, it does not go into e / or twrp recovery, it turns on and always restarts, I tried to flash a fw using the dload method but it does not work, I tried to reinstall the fw via erecovery using the wifi but does not start, always error .". Getting Package Info Failed"
now I really need help to restart the phone, someone is kind enough to help me or suggest a proper guide, to unbrick my phone?
thank you
i solved with correct oem info eu!!
Try Firmware finder for huawei + erecovery method , which is :
- download firmware finder on *another android phone* and search for exact phone model (ex : PRA-LA1C185)
- choose the very first firmware down the list
- Get an update thorugh dns >> Manually >> Register update
- After that , reboot your bricked phone into erecovery by ( power + volume*+*)
- press download recovery and last firmware
- wait till getting package
- by now should firmware start downloading
- let phone complete it's work and reboot
Hope that's work for you ?

Flash EMUI8 firmware from EMUI5 through fastboot?

In the searching for an EMUI5 firmware I have stumbled upon an EMUI8 one that my phone can have installed, I got this from the Firmware Finder:
Code:
Firmware approved for install
Build: PRA-LX3 8.0.0.360(C605)
Also there are other that says FULLOTA-MF-PV, FULLOTA-MF or just FULLOTA, which one should I use?
Now, in Multi-Tool I have an option to "Unbrick" the phone by flashing several images, can I use that to also flash a new firmware, in this case EMUI8? Though I haven't found a boot.img file when I extracted the update.app file. Even if I shouldn't use Multi-Tool can I extract the update file with Huawei Extractor and then flash everything with fastboot commands?
I can't access erecovery because in the past I have flashed something there (that's why I was looking for a EMUI5 firmware, so I could restore the stock recovery), I can only access fastboot&rescue mode, when I tried updating the OS from the phone itself (I had an update that said it includes May 2018 security patches) it rebooted to an error message. I have everything unlocked in this phone.

P8 lite 2017 hard brick unfixable ?

Hello, I've recently installed TWRP on my PRA-LX1, i made a backup of all partitions in case everything goes wrong... and everything went wrong ! I tried to install a custom rom so i formatted all partitions except internal storage, boot, cust and version (all unformattable partitions) . The installation of the custom rom failed so i planned to restore my backup then i realized they've been deleted. my data partition is now only 500MB instead of several gigabytes
Now i want to flash the stock firmware but i can't.
I tried:
- the sd card method but "software installation failed" after a few seconds
- Download the lastest package from Huawei (ERecovery) but "getting package info failed"
- extract the firmware then flash it via fastboot but fastboot doesn't let me flash vendor and product images. twrp too (error:"cannot flash images to file system")
Now my phone is completely stuck
What i can do right now:
- boot into TWRP
- boot into Huawei ERecovery
- boot into fastboot
I think the situation can't get worse. At this point I'll do anything to get back the stock rom even if it's dangerous for the phone. If someone have a full twrp backup of the p8 lite 2017 PRA-LX1 on android 7, please share it

[Guide] Recover to stock firmware on Mediapad M3 Lite (8/10)

I've managed to revert from the LineageOS 17 back to stock firmware after a lot of trial and error. I had not been able to find anything on this site detailing this so in the spirit of giving back, here's what I did to revert back to stock firmware. I accomplished this on a BAH-L09.
TWRP must be installed. I did this with twrp_3.3.1-0.img.
Boot into recovery mode.
Grab this firmware: Huawei MediaPad M5 lite BAH-L09 hw ru BAH-L09C170B271CUSTC170D001Firmware7.0.0r1EMUI5.105014LUH [androidhost.ru].zip
Extract the multiple archives inside of the zip file (including the .tar) with 7-Zip until you have the Update.APP file.
Use the Huawei Firmware Update Extractor (HuaweiUpdateExtractor_0.9.9.5.zip). Drag the Update.APP file into the interface and extract all to a location.
(Note: This just hung at the end but I was able to use the resulting IMG files)
Copy VENDOR.img, SYSTEM.img, BOOT.img, RECOVERY.img to an SD.
In TWRP, install/flash the corresponding IMG files. RECOVERY is vital.
Wipe DALVIK/Cache.
Power off.
Restart again into Recovery, this time it will be EMUI/Huawei's recovery.
Factory Reset/Wipe; Wipe Cache.
Your tablet should now boot into stock firmware.
This is how I managed to get back into stock firmware. I attempted these steps with Huawei MediaPad M5 lite BAH-L09 hw eu BAH-L09C100B270CUSTC100D001 Firmware Android 7.0 EMUI 5.1 05014LSM [androidhost.ru].zip to no avail.
I hope these steps are helpful to anybody who requires the stock firmware. Don't forget that you can effectively unbrick your device this way if you can access fastboot and flash the recovery partition (fastboot flash recovery twrp_3.2.0-0.img).
