First off, does anyone know of a good picture frame widgit that allows for a larger frame size than the default widgit one? paid or non paid is fine
Second question is, is it possible to mod the stock wallpaper software to allow selecting pictures in portrait mode instead of the regular landscaped selection? I know I can just use an app like Wallpaper Plus, but I really do not like that app because it is extremely unpolished with lots of bugs and glitches and the dev has not updated the app in ages
Hi,
i got a couple of app's "games" that are abit dodgy. one the whole right panel is "off" and the other the bottom and top are "off"
firstly deal or no deal game.
on the left side you see the "prizes" but on the right of the screen it is too small to show you the rest of the games "prizes"
you get a list of $0.1 to $750 and on the otherside your ment to be able to see $1000 upto 1mil. but screen too small
and the other's sheep launcher plus
on the bottom you cant select characters and on the top you cant "tap" the sheep also the calibrations abit off as you have to touch around 1.5cm under the actual launch icon to launch it .
All of this boil's down to one question really.
Is there a way of resizing "app's" for the X8
Thanks
Yes... in a kind of way but it is not work will all roms. It resize all your phone's screen.
It is called designity changer... our default is set to 160.
You can change it to 140 or 120
At 100 most launcher crash and all apps crash.
You will have problem typing on 120 as buttons are too small.
Best rom from my opinion for this is mini cm.
Some apps will not be resize and you may have layout problems, only on the look.
P.S root need, app is paid, can be found on market.
Just edit build.prop
ro.sf.lcd_density=160 <-- our default
you can change to
ro.sf.lcd_density=140 or ro.sf.lcd_density=120
Note: some rom have two build.prop
one in System/build.prop
two in System/Bin/build.prop
Warning:this will resize all app
Hey guys,
I've been having this issue since I installed the chroma Rom on my nexus 6. Basically whenever I play a video of any sort in chrome and full screen it, the url bar shrinks but is still visible on the screen, which add you can guess is a little annoying, an example is shown in the screenshot below, note this occurs in portrait as well as in landscape.
I've tried looking in a few places add well as here, and in settings for a solution but can't find any. So I was hoping you guys could help. The only thing that I think it could be and haven't tested yet is that I adjusted the pixel density to 420.
Help is much appreciated
After recently rooting my J7, I've decided to use one of the resolution changing apps to give my phone a 1080x1920 pixel faked resolution, with a dpi of 280. For the most part, it works. Some built-in apps such as the camera or even the touchwiz launcher (seems some UI elements used hard-coded numbers to define regions, or in case of the camera, the view is almost a quarter of the screen with black around the edge, and the touch input is offset to a different corner.
All else seemed good, until I realized another major flaw - the call screen - it works, however when trying to pull up the keypad when in a call, it only displays a single, gigantic 1 button. no other buttons are available. Button-based menus are of course now impossible to navigate... unless every button to press is 1, 1 and 1. And then 1.
Can't take pictures of it now as the resolution change causes an issue for screenshots - I'll need to get a screenshot app for this, but ultimately, are there apps that replace the call screen? I thought a dialer app would fix this but the one I have only replaces the text/call/contacts apps, not actually calling. I'd prefer there to be an app that can replace it, as it seems most third party apps are almost never hard-coded to a specific resolution, meaning I'd imagine it should work on my modded phone.
If more explanations are needed I can try to provide some screenshots as needed when i'm done. I'm really hoping I don't have to reset the screen. I love how everything works otherwise...

Install Google Phone apk and set it as the default dialer app.
It also replaces the incall screen

Awesome. It worked like a charm. Thank you so much!
I just got the ROG Phone 3.
With the Screenshot and the Screen Recorder functions, is there a way to crop the image?
On my previous phone I could screen capture a portion of the screen by drawing a square around it. It was handy to cut out an ad or unwanted part of the image.
Similarly, I could select the area of the screen that I wished to record. This again helped for the same reasons.
The ROG Phone 3 seems to only allow the whole screen to be captured or recorded (unless I'm missing something?).
