No 'accessories' menu in settings? You should be able to set Unlock option, providing you have Smart Unlock option enabled.
Assuming it is an original Samsung cover...

I have "accessories" under "advance features", but I have the LED-cover

I have no such option AS Above maybe its a software issue.

How to get rid of the notification bar when device is locked

Hi, on my S7 I did deactivate the notification bar on my lock screen.
But I cannot find the setting on my S10.
When my S10 is locked, I do not want to get the notification bar by pulling down (to change Wifi, mobile connection, bluetooth and so on).
It's just, because the kids play with my phone and they do not know how to unlock it. But when the notification bar shows up on the lockscreen, the can change the settings of all my sensors and stuff
Quite annoying.
Thanks for your help.
Settings -> Lock screen -> Secure lock settings
Turn on "Lock network and security"
Thanks, but this doesn't help. It was already checked.
The bar can still be pulled down.
On my S7, this wasn't possible at all. I could deactivate completely.

Yes, but it should ask for you to unlock it to change any settings. Give it a shot.
It only does that for wifi or mobile connections. But you can still switch off auto sync and other stuff.

Try Cerberus. It has that option. But it has so much more.
This one is much simpler

There are both paid options I think.
Do the kids just grab it or do you hand it to them? If you hand it to them then in the same menu there is an option called "Show lockdown option". From your Lock screen, holding down the power button will give you the option to lock it down. That should prevent everything you're worried about. The only thing is that you'd have to manually do it every time.
arrggg...it works, BUT....the fingerprint requires the android lock screen mode. And the fingerprint is needed for my online banking. So I cannot use another lock screen app. Damn it...it would have been a nice solution.

HELP! Smart Unlock successful. Slide up to open.

I use face unlock including the setting Direct Unlock and Raise to Wake. I don't know what I just did but now every time i lift the phone to unlock it I get 'Smart Unlock successful. Slide up to open.' It didn't do that until an hour ago. It used to go straight to the last screen I was using. Searched everywhere but cannot see what I did that changed it. I am on the Beta but I don't think that makes a difference. Any ideas?
TIA
In the end I did a reset of settings and also wiped the cache in recovery and that seems to have got it back to normal. Unfortunately, meant I had to redo all my settings again.
I have the same problem, it's very annoying any better solutions then reset...??

Just to be clear - it wasn't a full factory reset, just a reset of Settings. So no apps or data was lost.

Magazine Lock screen EMUI 10 (editing option)

In EMUI 9 I use to be able to edit my lock screen on what to delete and what to add. You use to be able to do it right at the lock screen moving left or right. Then there's an edit function that allows you to make those changes. Now with the EMUI 10 doesn't give you that option moving left and right is locked too. You no longer have the option.
Does anyone know to do it with EMUI 10 or find a way to edit it?
Any help would be great.

Unfortunately for some reason, the Canadian phone doesn't have that as an option missing the magazine unlock option

Custom themes / lock screen wallpaper can disable Magazine unlock, set a default theme and have a look again
Swipe left or right, there apeer three dots in the upper right corner of the lockscreen. I can change my options there.

Tried other themes still locked it's almost like they don't want us to edit that option so weird maybe that's the new thing with EMUI 10 for Canada. It's kinda silly that the global version is entirely different from the North America version.
Ok guys, so I got the update about a week ago and was using magazine unlock on emui 9. I had previously deleted all the original images of magazine unlock to only use my own. To my surprise on emui 10 I did not have the option to add/change my images.
The solution that worked for me was to format my phone so that the original magazine unlock images where restored and lo and behold I had the option to add new images to the magazine unlock. I then proceeded to delete all the original images from the magazine unlock and and that's when I lost access to the magazine unlock option from the lock screen.
seeing as I don't want to format my phone a second time could another member try the solution and and let us know if it works?

Question Custom Message in Lock Screen

I think AOD (Always On Display) has something to do with it but it seems that the option to change the custom text on Lock Screen is removed from OP10 Pro. If true, it is pretty stupid. I mean remove the text set during earlier OS versions and remove the option.
Now I have a text there which could be a wrong info (ex-wife and such) but no option to edit/remove it!
Any help please.
I think you are looking for this...
Settings; personalizations; always on display; display settings; display message.
Is that it?
First of all, thanks for replying.
I do not have Personalizations at all, under Settings. "Always-On Display" is found under Settings > Wallpapers and style > AOD. Under this > More Display Settings > Info does show some info that I can add/remove, but can't edit the message that was already set before OOS13
BTW I am on OOS13.0 (Android 13), v NE2211_11_C.20. No root, no magisk, no customization of any type!

Made an account just to post this and come out of my lurker hole.
To get Google pay option in the lock screen shortcut section available, I have to open "wallet" from the status bar drop down menu. If you open the wallet app this will not work.
Once wallet is opened from the drop down menu's icon, three dots on top right will have 1 option for lock screen settings. Click that and the first option is to change lock screen message text and the first toggle option is to allow wallet access from lock screen shortcut.
Here you can fix your text and or make that other setting available for use.
These lock screen settings are only accessible through this drop down quick menu that I have found and not the wallet app for some odd reason.
I accidentally set a "test" text to see where it would be placed and then couldn't get back to the setting and spent the next 8 hours trying to find it.
Hope this helps all who are as confused as I was.
Probably try Google Assistant application, by voice searching through it for "lock screen text" . It worked for me on Android 13 (OnePlus phone)

The issue is with the AOD custom text message, not the locksreen one.
