All of these ROMs support xposed framework.
Or
Simply u can format sd card as internal storage for installing apps on it.
U can also use 'Link2sd' app but need to root ur device.
But if u use ur sd card as internal then u can lost ur data after removing it or try to plug card in pc or another phone.
So... Backup all ur personal data on cloud or internal storage for or connect to pc using usb and copy data before remove card.
Also another problem if u remove card formatted as internal and restarted ur phone then after it when u try to use ur sd card card it will stop working and ask to format.
Take these precautions and don't worry.?

Then i used App2Sd like Link2SD for move apps to SD card but the apps not totally move to SD card only partially.
so i want know use the XinternalSD many user said it best for move apps without just partially?

When u format sd card as internal it only store the additional data of apps in card folder not the whole app bcz system partition use the active files of apps to run it so thts why u see internal is filling.
XinternalSd is best option so i suggest you to go with it
And give a thanx by pressing thumbs up button below if u satisfied

[Q] Moving Apps form Galaxy to internal SD is possible?

Hi I have upgraded my Galaxy S to Froyo with "official" firmware, everything is running ok, I also installed the OneClick LagFix (this change my quadrant from 892 to 1915) but now I only have 400Mb free in the phone memory, I would like to move some apps to the SD but I get the following error "Error moving app. There is not enough memory" (Possible this is not the correct message, i get this message in spanish )
I dont have a external SD, but I have 14Gb free in the internal SD, is not possible move apps to this memory?
Thx in advance
install Froyo, then you can run apps from External SD

yes, but all the apps needs to be re-installed and select External SD during install
or you can force them to External and hope it works with those 3rd party programs that moves apps to External SD
Thx AllGamers, I would like to install in the internal SD partition that have 14Gb free, because I don´t have external SD
Thx in advance
there are tons of 3rd party apps to choose from that helps you manage where you want your apps to go, check these out:

I've a question, is possible to install the apps into the external microSD card?
I know that Froyo permit to do it but only into the internale SD card and i want to use the external one (i've bought a 32Gb for it!!)
Have you any solution?
Thank you!!

I too have a 32Gb card installed.
You can move the apps and there are a number of 3rd party apps that will do this for you quickly or you can do it from settings in managing the applications. I found that this was not the space saving solution that I thought it would be.
It is the data that needs to be moved, e.g., DoggCatcher is my news reader and it had about 3Gb worth of data. Moving the app didn't save any space but using the setting in the program to move the data did the trick. Play around with moving a couple of apps and see what you get and check to see if the app will allow you to move the data to a new location.
Some apps simply stock pile a lot of data. My eBook program, Audible which I can't do without is another one - over 1.5Gb. I'll contact Audible about this one.
some times when you check on sites like AppsBrain
it will tell you if the App is App2SD compatible
meaning it can be isntall to SD also data store on SD
as mpierce said, it's pretty useless to force a program to SD, meanwhile the heavy stuff remains in the phone internals

Can everyone please read before replying?? He wants to move his apps to the INTERNAL SD (so do I) and NOT the external SD. This is not possible as far as I'm concerned. Got the same error as luishchorradas.

Hi
actually u cannot move ur apps to the internal sd card as internal sd card (16 gb) is only meant for media (videos, songs etc.) and if u want more 16gb for ur apps u will hv to put an external sd card (galaxy s supports 16gb) and ya if u move to sd it will move to external sd card.
Thnx

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. But I don't believe "move to SD" moves anything to the external SD card. The apps move to the internal SD card. Yes unmounting the SD card disables apps, but if you browse through the internal card, you'll still see them sitting there.
Me to, same problem, no google search helps :-(

sorry for necro'ing but it does indeed move it to the external SD, i've tried moving a couple apps with my Galaxy S to the, as it says, "move to USB memory" but as i check the free memory, it used the external SD memory, not the internal.

[Q] apps2sd whats the downside of running the apps from sd card

samsung galaxy SL-GT-I9003, running froyo 2.2.1
Since froyo allows moving apps2sd I have got a sandisk 32gb class 4 micro sd card & wonder if there is any downside to run an app from the sd card?
Should I partition the sd card for my data & apps separately?
If we update to a new ROM or firmware, and the APPs are on the SD Card do we have need to back up APPs ever again?
all my apps are on my sd card, there isnt really a downside, you dont need to make a partition.
The only thing is. if you accidently format your sd card, your apps will go. it saves memory on the phones internal card, allowing for a quicker response.
Just be sure to make a backup with titanium backup.
I do a backup every week, because im a constant flasher, but you can just make a backup and store it on your pc, just to be safe.
Flashing a new rom wont delete your apps unless you do a WIPE version or do it thru Odin. but if you do flash a new rom just make a backup anyway it only takes 5 mins.
If i Helped, Why not say Thanks ??

so you mean to say the apps are on the external card but each application save its cache on internal phone sd card.
There are some apps that although you can move them to SD do not work properly when you do. Among these are many home screen widgets and some live wallpapers.
Oh I didnt know that, good I will keep that in mind.

Yes i forgot to mention that, but the ones you want on your homescreen like live wallpapers, music player whatever just leave on internal.
And yes i think the cache (or something like that) is saved to the internal, because when i remove my sd card, my apps still show but just wont launch....
Read many other post & checked my external sd card it does not have any of the moved apps, instead apps2sd moves the files to internal sd only.
So wondering whats the real use of apps2sd when you have limited internal sd space in my case only 1.51gb, I thought it is moving the apps to external sd which is 32 gb card I bought for this purpose only.
My phone shows 181mb left only.

i am one of who need this apps! but i think this is not good for the game need the tatiumbackup because when you try to restore the titaniumbackup data on your games, maybe doesn't work, because the titaniumbackup can't identifying the real file location of your data games!
read my second post, work like a charm, even if you change your rom,u can directly open the directory of the folder u put ur data on ur last rom..

[Q] External sd card

Hello,
So I have an xperia Z with 16gb of internal memory and about 11gb usable and a sd card with 64gb, so the problem is I have used all that space internal with games and I can't transfer apps to external sd card (thats one of the reasons why I got a 64gb card so I could install games on it but turns out I can't) you used to be able on older phones like I had an lg optimus black and transferred apps to sd easily, so is there a way to transfer apps to sd or not I tried gl to sd which didn't work the phone just reboots when mounted and tried alot of other apps but the same thing happens and its not straight forward lol, the other question is will they allow apps to external sd when 4.4 is out? If so, I don't mind waiting lol
Also my phone is 4.3, rooted, locked boot loader and have dual recovery 2.7.78 and stock
I don't want to partition the sd either

[Q] Make the SD the "default" memory

Hi, I have a Moto G 2014 with Stock 5.0.2 rooted, and I bought a 32GB SD Card a few days ago. The thing is that everything is still going to the internal memory, instead of the SD (photos, downloads, etc.), so I want to know if it's a way to make everything write on the SD card without messing up the phone (I heard I can mount SD in /sdcard changing init.rc but I don't want to do that). I also want to move my WhatsApp chats to the SD too, hehehehe (WhatsApp data is in the internal :'c)
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
For the photos and videos part, you can select from the camera application if you want to store them in the internal memory or on the SD card. For applications I think they are installed in the internal memory by default but you can move them after installation on the SD card by going to settings -> apps -> touch app -> move to SD card. To change the default installation location you need the android SDK installed on your PC and adb and then to edit a file. But I do not recommend this since the SD card is not accessible while the phone is connected to the PC. This will make applications that always run to work improperly(widgets, Facebook, etc. might generate a lot of errors because of it).
I think it's a Xposed module for that.

if you're rooted then try link2sd from play store. you need to have an ext partition on your sd card for this to work.
if you are not rooted then you will have to manually create symlinks to the files on the sd card.

Better try Link2SD. The procedure to turn your external SD to internal storage causes a lot of trouble in most cases.
There are also scripts that link the possible apps and libraries automatically to the SD card when installing them.
