Hi everybody,
I'm struggling with this P9 plus of a friend of mine.
He gave me the phone already OEM unlocked, rooted and with a working TWRP Installed.
I downloaded and updated to lastest stock-firmware (Android M 6.0) and lost (as expected) root and TWRP.
Now I'm trying to install back TWRP on the device, but without success. Flashing the recovery through fastboot works itself, but when I reboot (into recovery with power+vol up)
I always crash into the Huawei eRecoveri, with the Emui Logo.
I've repeated the process I don't know how many times, but I can't fix it. I've been googling around for answers, but without luck. Furthermore, I've read that the only "safe way" to get into TWRP is to use apps that need root, but I need TWRP to get root back.
Please help, 'cause I don't know what to do...
Same here, stuck with nougat, no erecovery (Getting package info failed).
Can't start in bootloader using v- power. Google is not my friend anymore etc....
Bootloader unlocked.
Edit: solved. Using srk tool to unlock bootloader using power +vol — at same time. The tool forced to enter bootloader. I saw that Windows 10 detect the phone even in stuck mode and srk tool could pass command lines when phone rebooted . Now i debrand and can flash another twrp to downgrade.
okay so I've been having issues with my android one(canvas a1(sprout 4)) for a little while now and it seems to be at its end of life so I flashed the stock Rom from the sprout reference pack and everything's now normal tough when I try to unlock the boot loader the phone doesn't recognize the USB and windows just goes "USB device not recognized device descriptor request failed" so I re flashed and everything works fine now I would like have cyanogen mod on my phone I have managed to get a custom recovery through SP flash tool (by just replacing the recovery.img with philz touch) so is it safe to flash or will I end up with a paperweight
Hi everyone. I have a moto g6 and I updated a few weeks ago, but the thing is that when I was flashing the stock (the 8.0 version becuase it doesn´t exist a 9.0 yet) rom via fastboot I get an error about "downgrade security", after that I try to unlock the bootloader and I found that I cant get into the os and the recovery, it apears an error "failed load kernel" and gets into the fastboot mode. I try to unlock the bootloader via adb but i can´t because i can´t get in to the recovery, only fastboot mode. I try many ways to fix this but I don´t found anything yet.

Hold power and volume down til reboot into "bootloader" mode, plug usb-c cable to PC, then reflash later stock rom

Just power up directly to bootloader holding power + vol down, then reflash the latest official firmware for your device. As long as it is the official firmware for your device you don't need to unlock bootloader.
BUT if you brick it with an updated bootloader thats more recent that the OG firmware available for your device, sadly you have a cute paperweight until an official firmware with a more up to date bootloader is available. It happend once to me with a G4 Play have the device useless for a good 2 months until a firmware with a new bootloader was available. It sucks.
You have to go to the service center.
Hey msobarzoe13, I am using moto g6 and from India. When android p soak test was leaked as everyone out there, I tried it. It was good except for some network issues. So I decided to revert back to the stock firmware. I downloaded the OS and flashed it and faced the same issue. I tried several times but no luck. I was not even able to unlock the bootloader because I didn't turn on OEM unlock under settings. So I took it to the service center. The best part is by installing Beta your warranty is void. So I did it through the service center. They told Moto G6 series is very secured so flashing it with a leaked software is prevented. I don't know why. So don't take a further risk, take it to the service center.

If your bootloader is still locked just take it to a moto service centre, I also tried downgrading and took it to service centre they fixed it
I have also hard bricked my moto g6 while updating. There was an OTA update and i started update without noticing my battery percentage. Now i have hard bricked dead moto g6. There is no response at all. Only life in my device is that it is detected as Qualcomm HS-USB QLoader 9008 in pc.
My Moto G6 went into Hard Brick after downgrade and upgrade, does not go into download mode and does not turn on, just flashes the led.
Does anyone have a solution.
Thanks.

Same problem with me also. It may be detected as qualcomm hs-usb qloader 9008 while you connect in pc. If that is the problem than we need blank flash file which is not available right now. Either we have to send our device to service center for motherboard replacement or we need to wait for blank flash file which is not possible to come because these files are sensitive to motorola. another solution is if some one provide me mmcblk0.img of moto g6 than i might be able to boot it from sd card and may revive it again.
My Moto G6 Ali got hardbricked also plzzz help anyone solved it or have blankflash HE
Do anyone got any solution regarding this then plzzz help

Good evening, today I decided to block the bootloader. I downloaded the latest global and everything went without any problems (via the terminal), but the phone does not load further than the poko logo. There is also a recovery and a fastboot. I flashed it myself according to files, with batnikami, but there is no effect. Who has encountered it and what to do?
I installed the European firmware and the phone came to life
the question is relevant again
try flash stock in edl mode with miflash. relock fastboot after an unlock is never a good idea. probably you have miss to remove oem unlock into dev options. try also xiaomi tool v2. there is an unbrick function
I blocked the bootloader and went through the Stock Recovery firmware through miflash ... The phone immediately came to life
nice! i hope my tips have helped you
I accidentally flash my phone with official rom in miflassh with flash_all_lock.bat option now after i reboot my phone there had a message file storage corrupted your device is unsafe now. I try to again unlock the bootloader but mi account cannot activate my sim. tried with new sim and account but no reasult. Always says couldnt verify your sim card. for this, i cannot turn on the find device and add account with my phone. I tried all searched ways but no reasult. i tried downgrade with rename rom method, try xiamitoolv2 no reasult.
Now pleas can anyone help me to unlock the bootloader with any idea. It will be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Can you still boot into fastboot mode?
If so,
1. For newer devices (2015 and higher):
fastboot flashing unlock
2. For older devices (2014 and lower)
fastboot oem unlock
I had the same problem a month ago and finally solved, you should make some changes to a file of the official ROM released by Xiaomi and re-flash it by activating the Qualcomm 9008 mode, in which you can ignore the bootloader lock
