[Q] External SD Card on paranoid Android PA 2.x mounted strangely

Hi,
first of all tnx to the penguins for the great CM10 based PA ROM. I'm running it since Build 02 and lovin it.
I noticed that the external SD is mounted under /storage/sdcard1 next to the internal /storage/sdcard0 or /sdcard
This leads to one strage thing: Under /sdcard/_ExternalSD I only see the empty folders .../DCIM/Camera while the Camera pictures get (correctly) filed under /sdcard/DCIM
I can only access the external SD with root explorer therefore and it's contents cannot be used by many apps and functions (like Airdroid)
Am I doing anything wrong? Is there an easy way to fix it?

Thats my Dear friend is our Beloved ICS Formatation there are Tools to Swap or Redefine Partitions like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2020737 its comes with a self explaining Manual.

You can use in terminal : "mount -o bind /storage/sdcard1 /storage/sdcard0/_ExternalSD" after creat with "mkdir /storage/sdcard0/_ExternalSD". For have all the time, after boot, use SManager ( in play store ) for execute a small script, juste une ligne : mount -o ..... by.

[Q] External Memory (SD)

Dear members,
I need help for my SGS I9000.
My internal memory was corrupted so I fixed my SGS by this video: youtube.com/watch?v=zdMhYYdMB08
I did everything OK and everything worked. I was able to boot my phone again. Now I have 2.3.6 on it installed.
But my problem is that I don't know how to use the 6GB partition as my SD (External) Memory for files (music, camera pics etc.)
This is explained in the video I posed here, in the end but I don't understand that part. If anyone of you could help me how to do that in any way, thank you very much.

As it says on the video you have to copy a file to your pc and modify it a little bit. Then mount the right partition and put it back

Everything is working OK,
expect when I use "cp vold.fstab /emmc/" it says: can't create '/emmc/' : is a directory
when I use "cp vold.fstab /emmc" it says: can't create '/emmc' : Read-only file system

[Q] HELP! Cant see files in my storage

can someone help me pls?!
I flashed venom rom, wipe everything everything is working great but when i look into my storage all my files were gone...
But when i connect it in my pc, it still show my used storage but i cant see even one file i have. pls help what to do...

You might be able to Install root explorer or es file explorer and move the relevant files from /data/media to /data/media/0

Help: Required VOLD.FSTAB File

My new i9305(UK) phone is not mounting memory card after flashing recovery.
Please someone upload the file vold.fstab from "/system/etc/" from i9305 only.
Any other suggestion to fix this problem is also appreciated.

[Q] Sdcard not mounted in ported rom

Hi every one,
I'm trying to port a 4.4.4 rom to sensation xl but the biggest problem I have till now is that the sdcard is not mounted after booting, with all sort of roms i used as port ( ace, saga o endeavor roms).
I've tried to fix the vold.fstab even to not put it in the ported rom, but i still have the same problem. :crying:
When a use a file explorer to go into internal sdcard, it saying that it's need more permission. When I give Es explorer root permission, i can got to system files, but when entering sdcard0 there's nothing showing there.
Anyone here can tell me how to fix the problem ?
