Hi everyone, just boutht this phone preowned. It works well, but i dont know if the ex-owner modded it bad.
Everytime i try to enter the phone in recovery mode (pressing vol-,vol+ and power) led starts blinking green and red colour, and a screen like this, appear to me:

I press volume down button to enter in rescue mode, and I get a new screen, it says: PHONE LOCKED (in a green color. Now what does it mean? Bootloader is still locked? Or the phone has problems?) and I cant to connect phone in rescue mode from hisuite.
I have the same problem (the screen I attached, appear to me) not only when i want to go into recovery mode, but also when I charge my phone when it s power off( when i charge it not in power on) or if i want to flash an update.app from local update menu.
What could i do? Im in trouble. Thanks

It seems like recovery is missing. I'd try to flash stock recovery image or twrp (both to be found here in the forum) via adb

Thank you all! I solved my problem following ur links. I denied root permission for adb , then i put it into fastboot and rescue mode and flashed the recovery.IMG stock through adb. Thanks again.

i have this problem too.please help us.is there a way to solve this issue??!!

First of all, install the driver by installing HiSuite.
Second, make sure the USB cable is connected to the PC when you try to enter fastboot (rescue) mode. If the rescue mode is not there, then the last option is to try and force the update with 3 button method, but you must have a SD card for that.

i have the same issue unfortunately boot failed and press the voilume down button for 6 sec if i do that it is fast boot but locked and when i try to flash boot img and recovery the system does not detect my p7

I am CATGEEK, a typical 24-year-old techie-fashionista girl from the Philippines and was a P7 user till yesterday (sold it already). I have been busy lately job hunting why I wasn't able to make this post. I know this is a bit late but I am pretty sure this'll help a lot. How I was able to get a solution was because I too experienced this and I couldn't really trust the service center since I've read some posts somewhere that also had the same problem-- it couldn't be repaired. So my habit whenever I brick my phone is not sleep until I find a fix. I was in the brink of being hopeless and tried to lend money from friends to buy a new phone and just sell the P7 at a lower price since it's declared defective. But I've come to a thread here that I will be sharing with you (it is inside my zip file) and my software repair skills when it comes to android phones that will help you out with this quite complicated issue. It's actually easy but of course you need to go through the process first before concluding that I am right (still to some people, this'll really gonna take their brains out ha ha! like how I did before). So let's get started!
Pre-reqs:
1.Enable USB Debugging but how?
Go to Settings>About phone>Tap "Build number" 5 times then go back to Settings>Developer options>Enable USB Debugging
2.Booting to fastboot but how?
Hold volume down and power button simultaneously until you see a white screen with android logo and "Fastboot & Rescue Mode" here you will also see whether your phone's bootloader is locked or unlocked, so since your prob here is it is locked, we will unlock it, okay?
3.INTACT BRAINS, SO IT WON'T GET OUT WHEN YOU ARE HAVING A HARD TIME
4.BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, HAVE CONFIDENCE!

my huawei is G615-u10 how can i solve fastboot and rescue mode

Would this still require getting the unlock code through Huawei?

I cant get to the system, recovery, the force update method wont work and the bootloader is locked. What can I do? I sent a message to huawei asking for the code, but it takes probably weeks to get it(if I should get it). I cant get it on the offical page, I keep getting an error saying 'The Huawei ID used to apply for the unlock code has not been used on the device for more than 14 days.'. Please help!

I followed the steps to fastboot reboot. Now my phone is stuck at the HUAWEI boot logo? Any ideas? I used an official bootloader unlock code from HUAWEI. I know this is an older post, but I'm hoping someone will see this, and be able to help.

My Ascend P7 L07 is bricked! While trying to boot system and recovery i got 3 green leds and 2 red leds and "Boot error" screen appears and fastboot is unnable to flash stock recovery/system/boot img files (Error Command not Allowed), anyone can help me?

I am also having this same problem....I can't get to recovery and I am stuck at FASTBOOT AND RESCUE mode......and USB debugging was disabled ....I can't turn on USB debugging cause my phone can't boot up.......I got this problem while flashing a TWRP recovery ........I ALSO TRIED FORCE UPDATING ANDROID (by downloading stock ROM to SD card and then pressing : vol up+vol down+ power)

Guys......I found the solution..... All u have to do is to download stock ROM of ur huawei device and force update it.....
Step 1: download stock ROM for ur device
Step2: move the ROM to ur SD card in a folder....and rename the folder as " dload"
Step 3: remove battery and press vol up + vol down+ power ......and after 10 sec release the both vol buttons ( DON'T RELEASE POWER BUTTON) afters some time , ur phone should boot into force update

I can confirm that this method worked on my Huawei Y550-L01 that was stuck in Fastboot&Rescue mode.

Your device is corrupt.... Bootloop LG k8 . Recovery doesn't work

Hi guys, i was rooting my phone LG k8 using adp method get form here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-k10/how-to/friendly-root-method-lg-k8-k10-t3531223
but in the last step in the rooting part i noticed that the SuperSU archive didn't appear in the TWRP manager so i got no more choise than reboot. Now the problem is that after the LG logo appears the message saying "Your device is corrupt...", then restarts - logo - your device is corrupt - restarts - logo - your device .... well, a bootloop, is so anoying. I tryed to use recovery funcion of LG, but when it ends, phone reboot and the problem is still there: bootloop. I can't boot in fastboot mode or anything elese form the PC so i don't know what to do. How can i fix this problem? hope my phone doesn't become a brick.....

1. Download LG K8 firmware (k350n) here or here.
2. Download LG UP software and the dll for LG K8.
3. Boot your phone into Download Mode (hold Volume-Up key & connect the phone to your computer via USB).
4. Upload firmware to your phone (update mode).
Your phone should be reset and working, but not rooted...
I hope this helped

If you cant boot into download mode, connect the phone without the battery to computer. It will find 3 devices. then put the battey back and press volume up. You'll get to download mode. Download and install lg bridge. s. Restart pc. If your device is in download mode lg bridge will see it. Go to update tab, try it. If your device is up to date an option will come up after trying to update to the right of the update tab saying error during update. Press on it and then wait. It will download install and reboot.

Experiencing similar problem on my LG K8 (K350Z).

Later I decided to recover to stock KDZ, but did very stupid thing first - I've entered recovery mode (by pressing down+power, then down+power+up) and selected "Yes". After that green droid shown, and phone restarted, showing logo, then "Device is corrupt" message then off.
Starting it goes through logo"Device is corrupt" loop.
I've tried many suggestions to use LGUP and LG Bridge, but PC simply doesn't see the phone correctly.
Driver re-install didn't help much, it's still shown in Device Manager as "LTE Android MTP Device" with yellow exclaim triangle, but LGUP and LG Bridge can't connect to it.

When I select in LGUP it says "LGUP can't load the model[C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model\com"

Finally! Resolved the problem. Looks like I've installed different driver versions and LGUP and LG Bridge in wrong order.
Re-installing everything helped and LG Bridge was able to flash the updated software version (V10f-AME-XX) and now my K8 works fine
Going to try post 2017 rooting methods soon.

i can't go to download mode bc the phone say that is corrupted

Have you tried doing a long reset for your phone type by holding the correct buttons before the phone starts. Let it die first then charge it and try a long reset

Hello, i do not know what happened but my phone doesn't want to show anything on the display. I was playing the new PES 2019 and first the display flashed 3 times while playing, then after maybe 10 minutes the phone stuck with image on it and the commentary sound. I thought that it might be usual and tried to hard reset it (volume UP + Power button). However the phone didn't show anything after that. Just the LED lights are working and when i try to hard reset again the screen flashes like 5-8 times and nothing appears.
Do you think that it might be a serious hardware problem or i should try to do something with the software?

If you can get it to boot to fastboot mode then it can be maybe saved but if not it sound like something maybe died in the phone.
To boot to fastboot you have to have the phone powered off and then connect it to pc while holding - volume button if you get to show fastboot and rescue mode then you could try to get some thinks from internet unfortunatly to ublock bootloader you need to have a working system to get the code from because huawei does not give them out anymore so if you have still the warranty definitely use it.

Thanks for your reply. Actually the phone is working. The thing is that when i turn it ON and after that when i lock it with the side BUTTON and after that when i try to unlock it with the same button the screen doesn't show anything but the phone is ringing, receiving emails and messages - it just works. If i want to use it again i have to restart it using volume down and power button. I have got the bootloader unlock code, but i can not find a proper topic to follow, as the phone is HUAWEI EVA-L09 and it was locked to Vodafone.

Wow I have similar problem but happens to me once in a month for me it is that the power button completly disconects and is unresponsive reset of the phone helps i have to restart it trough rooted app.

Ye, but the thing is that i have to restart it every time when i lock it, which is a bit annoying. I still thing that it is a software problem, however when i try to get in fastboot mode i here the sound on the computer, but nothing appears on the screen, that's why i can not operate with the phone in fastboot mode.

It is now almost surley software issue if you cant get into fastboot with proper screen you can be glad that the phone still works but maybe the fastboot works just without the screen showing in that case it is quite ok you should try to type in fasboot console "fastboot devices" and see if there is some device found

After that since everything is working you shoud do downgrade and then upgrade that should clean every problem in huawei and hopefully the issue.
For the downgrade if you are on android 7 just sreach in google "downgrade huawei p9" there are videos and it is really not that hard (i think you dont need to unlock boot loader while doing the dload version)

just be careful everything will get deleted once you will want to unlock the bootloader i have never been unlocking phone with lock to vodafone or someone else so i cant really help you that much
and there is that think that you will have to pay like 4€(it is in the thread) to get the unlock of the network (but maybe you dont need it i really dont know i never had phone with network lock)

SOLVED --redmi note 9, blinking redmi logo, not starting, cannot switch off, can't enter fastboot mode also

I tried to root my redme note 9 using magdisc from pc. after completing all steps, I have given command to boot recovery through minimal adb, after that phone automatically moved from Fastboot mode and started blinking REDME on screen, a few moments later it goes black and again appear. it keeps continuing now. I tried long press on the power button for restart/switch off, but no use, it will vibrate and ON with redme logo, and will go black after few moments. i tried to enter into fast boot mode, but result is same, it will vibrate and go OFF, when I tried to connect pc, pc is not recogonizing this phone anymore. nothing is working, cant even switch off

Did you try to flash something?

Yep! upgrade from pixelUI official 3.7 to 3.8, had some intempestive reboot, so i swype and re-install and seen that, infinite boot loop, no recovery, no fastboot and phone isn't recognize by PC...
So i can't use SPflash tool to install stock rom...
Sometimes PC see the phone realy realy fast son i don't have time to verify in device manager..

SP flash tool give me an error message "STATUS_BROM_CMD_FAIL", so i must use EDL but when i try "

How can I do that, to force flashing using sp flash tool? something similar happens to me only that it does not turn on and when I connect it to the pc comes out the following error that I will attach an image and translate:
'usb device is not recognized
the last device you connected to this computer did not work and Windows does not recognize it.'
what can i do in that case?

hello there, my redmi note 9 just got updated to miui 13 and for some time it sudenly freezes and not its in bootloop and i cant go to recovery mode nor fastboot, what do i need to do to fix this?

I briked my phone.. cycling boot logo, cannot get to fastboot, cannot get to recovery, EDL does not work and the phone does not even show up in computer...
