Last night I downgraded from B360 to B185 . Everything is very good but I always get some notification about the new B360 version which I downgraded from . I disabled system update notifications , cleared data/cache , disabled access to Phone , internet , wi-fi and etc . And after all that I still get update screen to allow update to use phone permissions and etc . I want to disable/remove system update . Is it possible without root ?
yes..
you can skip skip at the Setup screen (after clean flash or full wipe).. and cut the Internet once posible.
Then go to System, System Update 3 poinst above and Update settings. Then: Dissable Auto update and AutoDownload over Wifi.
And you will be let alone.

Hi. What's the tool name please?
I feel like smashing the phone every morning.
Is there a way to disable system update without root yet? I cant find package disabler on the app store. I have a note 8 . Can somone pplease help
You don't need root nor TWRP.
You must enable hidden Developer options in Settings, and enable there ADB debugging over USB.
Install ADB on the PC - search on XDA for Minimal ADB and Fastboot tool
Use the adb command from PC
Code:
adb shell pm disable-user com.huawei.android.hwouc
In Settings, Apps, enable Show system services and you will see that System update is disabled - when you want it back, just enable
Use apps like AppInspector or DevCheck (from Playstore) to find package name for any (system) app you want to disable

Hey guys,
Big thanks to @autoprime for mentioning this info on this in the general G4 forum. Figured I'd sum up the steps and repost in our sub-forum for anybody who may be struggling.
If you're like me, you're waiting on root and don't want to accidentally take that new OTA update that was pushed out about a week ago. This OTA has been found to prevent rolling back to previous versions of android, and may also block some/many of the root methods that the developers are preparing to release to us.
If System Update is constantly bugging you to update, follow the directions below:
1) Enable USB Debugging
-Go to About phone and tap on Build number 10 times to enable Dev Options
-Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging
2) Download and Install the Debloater tool (this happens on your computer)
-Windows http://rootjunkysdl.com/getdownload.php?file=Gates/DeBloater/Debloater-setup-v3.85.exe
-OSX http://rootjunkysdl.com/getdownload.php?file=Gates/DeBloater/Debloater.v.3.85.dmg
3) Connect your phone via USB. Make sure to install any drivers needed
4) Watch for pop up requesting ADB Access on your phone
5) Launch the Debloater tool
6) Select OK on the popup
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
7) Click the top left button
8) Find LGDMSClient.apk and put a checkmark next to it. Then select Apply at the top
Congratulations! You no longer have to worry about pocket-updating your G4 and not being able to root down the road!
**A couple people are still getting updates after performing this. Please check here for more things you can try.
Great i took mine 10 minutes ago and just saw this.. oh well guess Im stuck with no root options

I'm optimistic that the devs will be able to release a root method that will still work for those who took the update. I would still run the above process so that it doesn't receive any more updates.

to add to this, once i did this (I blocked 6 apps in total, instructions from a different post) and once i reset my phone, i still got the notification to update (I dont think it would work if i ran it, but i didnt try), so i long pressed the notification, hit the the little circle with the letter i in it, then disabled notifications from google play services. havent seen it since and im still on ZV4. also before i installed debloater i installed the LG united drivers, not sure i needed to but figured id mention it.

Hi ,
I Need to Know the Complete Method How to Connect Google Pixel 4XL Android R With QPST & How to Take QXDM Log for Google
Thanks ,
Nabil Anwar
Hi, I am trying to install QXDM5 ( QXDM5.5.1.280.7.Windows-x86) on win10. First i have installed QPST.2.7.485.7.exe and it is successful and then tried to QXDM5 but while installing seen the error saying that "QUTS.Core was not installed. Reason: CatalogError". Here i have attached error logs. It would great help if some one help me on this issue.
sadly my 4xl has the same problem, it seems to be a serious bug from Google and needs to be fixed. Phone can't access Fastboot mode or Recovery mode, it can only stay in 9008 mode. This situation happened when I tried to update android 12 version but failed. Hope to have help from the developer, because there will be many people facing the same situation.
Hey!
I am working with the EDL mode, I am trying to use it as a way to unlock Pixel boot loader form it's carrier. Though I am still testing...
Let me see if I can help you guys:
*Keep in mind this only works on windows, and I am assuming you have ADB and Fastboot command line installed, and you have some experience using the command line, and you are using a recent version of Windows10,*
1. Remove Lmobile drivers(from device manager on windows) and install the Google one's instead. If you don't know how to do it just search on google and you will find a tutorial
2. You need to download Qualcomm drivers and QPST tool. I will leave a link to a website where you can download it.
3. After Qualcomm drivers are installed, set up QPST.
3. On your phone, if you have access to adb, run without quotes "adb reboot EDL"(for carbon coupe)
If the phone can't reach adb there are other 2 methods, one using fastboot commands and other using the testing pins(requires phone disassembly)
As my phone is working and running fine android 12 I only know the adb command.
Once on EDL mode the screen is going to be completely black, and device manager will se your phone as :
QUALCOMM HS-USB QDLOADER 9008(COM "USB port number")or something similar.
Now you can use the QPST tool to flash the firmware and boot image, or any other software that supports EDL mode.
Here is a link to a website which explains very well how to set up and use the QPST tool and where you can download all you need.
Hope this helps you!

You are going to need also these files, that are the programmer files.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND I DIN'T TRY OUT THIS FILES, SO THEY MAY BE FOR OTHER PHONE OR MAY NOT WORK.
So please use this files with caution, I found them on a post of XDA and they are in theory from a working Google Pixel 4XL, so they should work.
I would recommend using this one: generic > Pixel > EU > Commercial > pixel_Free and use that file, as this one is from an unlocked Pixel I believe
Though I didn't test them so they may just not work at all.
Hi everyone,
I installed infected flashtool app wa strying to flash my xz3, usb debugging was activated when windows detected a malware from the computer during flashtool setup while my phone was plugged, is there any possibillity to be hacked? and if so, is wipping data and factory reset would solve the problem? thank you all.
Rvn.
I believe so. If not we can solve anything here lol
Of course it's possible
ID the issue. Isolate your backup data drives from both machines until proven clean.
A factory reset won't get rid of flashed malware... a hacker's wet dream.
If so you need reflash with a clean rom copy.

Lol, after some pain and suffering...
Lol, but In android even if usb debugging activated you need to approve the access to it whenever a computer going to use it, a window pop up on your phone to either approve or deny which it didn't appear at all. So I'm safe I think?

Well it isn't going to kill you, so you are safe.
As for the affected device(s)... they are scared.
Trust Windows security?
I mean, deny/allow window appears on phone not windows, I didn't allow because it didn't appear at all lol, sorry for my English

I didn't get this at all, so computer got no access through USB debugging then phone is safe right loool
Dont feel safe JUST yet...
If the adb window for granting keys does not show, that could be a warning sign, that adb MAY still be hacked (if hacked at all)
disconnect fone, go into developer options. look for revoke permissions, then plug fone back in, tell me if you see the window again?
Sometimes it goes into the background and you cant see it in time so it shuts you out...
If all goes well, on pc,
adb shell (should give grant window in fone)
settings put secure install_non_market_apps 1
settings put global adb_enabled 1
settings put global setup_wizard_has_run 1
settings put secure user_setup_complete 1
settings put global device_provisioned 1
settings put global development_settings_enabled 1
then even after a flash, if you never flashed your bootloader, you wont need to continually grant keys
Thanks for your time and answers brother..
But to make it more clear, I wasn't at a point where it had to show up (ADB window on phone), I just opened the app flashtool, I have seen it getting online stuff from GitHub and getting ready, after that it started detecting the phone after Malware Warning appeared on windows, at this time I just removed the phone and it wasn't into any mode. Only usb debugging was active.
I hope I make it more clear, and waiting your answers. Thanks a lot.
You've a virus in your pc, so fone wont allow you to connect until you remove virus ?
Deal with the virus first, then we'll probably find out your fone is fine...
Flashtool MAY be seen as a virus in windows so you may need to disable some security settings, it may not be a virus at all :O
Edit, best doing flashtool offline btw
I love you man, really I appreciate your time and help, now it's fine. I understand. Thanks a lot guys.
Hello!
I wanted to unlock my bootloader on my Redmi Note 11, but I have ran into a problem. It won't detect it in fastboot.exe or the Mi Unlock tool. I already:
Installed the Google USB driver
Updated the Mi Unlock tool, My phone, Windows
Enabled USB debugging & OEM unlocking
Booted the device in fastboot mode (Orange text saying FASTBOOT)
Can anyone help? Thanks.

Is the cable good and is there a normal connection for data exchange with the phone?
Are you using the USB port from the motherboard?
Does the adb devices command work and can you see the device?

The cable is in perfect condition, it was shipped with my phone and it works.
No I am using the one on the case, I am not sure on how it will affect this in any way but I am gonna try it.
Nope, ADB doesn't report anything
yo!
this happened to me also, i did fixed it by installing the fastboot driver
1. download the attachment below.
2. then extract it, a folder called 'Fastboot driver' should appear.
3. now, press Win+R, and a Run window should appear.
4. copy paste this 'devmgmt.msc' (without the quotation) into it, press OK.
5. Device Manager should appear. On top left, go to Action -> Add Drivers.
6. Browse to the 'Fastboot driver' folder, select it, click OK and then click Next.
7. after 'Drivers successfully installed', click Close.
now if things goes right, fastboot should be detected by now.
if not, idk tbh

can you mention how you fixed it? i'm having the same problem
I have encountered the same problem described in this post.
I have a P30 pro with EMUI 12. I have turned off "auto-clear junk" switch in Optimizer but it still operates auto-clear.

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I saved some .apk files in the storage for backup. Each time the auto-clear finished, I found my .apk files disappeared.
I can't directly modify the storage permission of Optimizer.
I tried revoke storage permission in ADB
Code:
adb shell pm revoke com.huawei.systemmanager android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
but got an error.
I contacted Huawei customer service. They replied that this was an prototype device and they couldn't help.
Although I can uninstall this app via ADB, I'm not sure whether it will cause system instability.
Is there any way to protect .apk files in phone storage except for uninstalling Optimizer?

yes their is a way i am not sure if it will work but go to setting and go to apps their will be admin apps or something and many special apps access just turn off everything and another way is to install another anivirus software like (AVG,Avast ) and when they take control it is next to impossible to delete anything with your permission .
Hope u liked it pls like and follow me
Never happened to me. Optimizer only deletes cache and junk files automatically
Must be a setting you messed with...
