This i want to ask ,, im new in miuipro
I already installing some applications such as dolby atmos, youtube vanced mod, SwiftKey, etc. into system applications ,,,,,,,
The question is if want updating to the latest miuipro version via twrp is my application system what I instaledl will be deleted?
If not, how to update it ....

Is there any sound mod like Dolby Atmos, Viper, etc., available for MIUI 8 global beta ROM (nougat version) for Xiaomi Mi 5? May I request any of you to help me with links? I did search for some and I am not confident if any of them is compatible with the Nougat MIUI version or not.

Install latest magisk. There are many sound mods in magisk repo viper, am3d, etc. I'm on nougat global stable and viper works for me.
only v4a with magisk. others doesn't work
Kindly compress all files that has the word "mixer" and attach it and post it in the link of my signature...
I used Dolby Classic when I was on MIUI 9, I think still works, try it.

Requirements for installing on LB/UB devices:
*Marshmallow 575 or newer!
*Recovery twrp installed!
Guide Installation for Unlocked Bootloader:
For better battery efficiency and performance make a clean installation, first flash the 291 Stock ROM with flashtools, if your device is with bootloader unlocked does not need root again just extract the boot.img file from the MIUI ROM and flash with flashtools / fastboot, This file is the kernel of the ROM and already comes with recovery, start in recovery mode and Wipe Data Factory Reset, done, select this rom for UB and install, finished, reboot to system.
Guide Installation for Locked Bootloader:
Select Wipe Data Factory Reset, select the ROM file for LB devices, install, done reboot to system.
The first boot takes a few minutes, after logging in to google and MIUI services, first install the Google Play Services application, installed, go to the settings> installed apps and select all permissions in Play Services and Play Store, just enjoy your MIUI ROM !!!!
Tips:
1 ° Xposed is 100% functional but I had better use of battery without the xposed.
2 ° Quick Charge 2.0 can be flashed soon after the ROM started or during installation without having to change the kernel but only functional for UB devices.
3 ° If you are on a nougat rom you can install the rom without problems, but if you fall into bootloop, open flashtools and flash only the apps_log.sin file and this will solve your problem!
4 ° The ROM for Locked Bootloader does not work with root, only xposed is 100% functional, no use installing after it will not work and will cause bugs or black screen at startup!
5 ° Xperia Mods Cyberian unfortunately is not working well or in some cases does not work at all.

yes it is working, and black screen can be solved by quickly pressing the power button twice
No way to add a google account, it shows "cant login"
EDIT - Finally after 7th try it let me in
EDIT 2 - No root via magisk, google play services crash each minute, lockscreen wallpaper often becomes black for no reason
wifi hotspot cant activate in securty code its open all time whyyyyyyyyyy???
If you cant log in Google cause crashes. You need to give Google permission
Root : flash supersu and enable or configurate root in the security settings

And which is the difference between the rom designed fot UB and the other designed for LB ?

Forget about magisk and payment because this rom is based on stock rom which doesn't support magisk at all so no safetynet pass
Camera is working on lockscreen normally to me.
Even Play Service is crashing, all gapps is working.

If you have xposed , you can use RootCloak to hide your root privillage on some apps

I think you can flash super Su but first back up your rom

Be sure to get Full Nandroid Backup before installation ....
Setup
Download the Epic ROM and transfer it to internal memory.
Start your device in TWRP recovery mode.
In TWRP recovery, click Wipe »Advanced Wipe and delete everything except local memory.
Return to the TWRP main menu, touch Install, and in Step 1 select the Epic rom Zip file to which you are transferring your device.
Once you have selected the .zip file, do a Swipe to Confirm Flash. At the bottom of the screen to start the custom ROM installation process. This may take some time.
Once your ROM has been successfully loaded, run Wipe cache / Dalvik and restart your device.

One point not clear to me : this rom has its bootloader locked as default right?

Boot errors
When i flash this using twrp I am successful in booting, but am get three errors regarding mui daemon, ui stopping, and whetstone... anyone out there can assist?? I have unlocked bootloader. I cannot proceed in set-up due to the errors.
xiaomi service framework has stopped
google service framework keeps stopping
security keeps
Followed the install steps and after flashing a second it seems to have corrected itself, I may have not wiped post flash which caused my issues.

which custom rom is best suited for what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a rom with inbuilt gapps, updater in settings
and (optional but prefered) preinstalled camera app that's not the snapdragon camera.

i have a Xiaomi Mi 11 - EU Rom; TWRP installed, rooted, Magisk installed and debloated. I want to install Fake Store from F-Droid, to replace the G.-Playstore (com.android.vending). Even with the Magisk Modules it isn´t possible for me to install the "Fake Store". Are there further dependencies to the vending-package, I missed to uninstall?
