Anyone with a tmobile phone that updated their firmware to 950U1 that can shine some input on LTE speeds?

if I had to guess the internal hardware (radio) is the same as the AT&T version, just different firmware (radio driver) that selects for the different Verizon LTE frequencies.
I'm asking because I want the Verizon version of this phone for the Qi Charging, but am on Straight Talk AT&T
Same here....bought the VS980 for my wife but she is on AT&T Straight Talk. Her phone is on build 24A right now.
Is it dependent on having AWS band 4 LTE in my area or am I able to flash a ROM to get LTE on AT&T?
Hey what's up guys I'm using a 64 gig unlocked AT&T S6 edge on the T-mobile network. I'm having the troubles of only getting 2g connection at best. I been on the phone with T-Mobile and AT&T to figure out why I get such slow speeds. My APN is correct, but the network settings won't let me select LTE/WCDMA/GSM on my phone. AT&T tech support told me to come to this forum and upload T-mobile firmware to the phone so it will pick up the frequencies I need to hit 4g speeds etc. on the T-mobile network. Has anyone had to do this before? If that is what I have to do does anyone have instructions on how to do it and where to get the firmware I need? Thank you!
Hi, I have an at&t S6 but am on T-Mobile. I was wondering of it was possible to flash a modem that would be more compatible with T-Mobile. Currently I'm on at&t's 5.01 stock rom. Could I Odin just the firmware for a different modem?
I ask because at times, signal quality sucks and hope that a modem built for their network will increase signal quality. Yes, I know that T-Mobile's network coverage is a bit shoddy already and that certain bands are locked on this version but maybe there's a creative solution? Thanks!
Hello all.
I would please like to ask if its possible to install a T-Mobile Note 5 rom on this phone so that i can get Nougat and Wireless calling. I read on the S7 threads its possible to switch from an AT&T phone to a T-Mobile rom. I am hopeful we can do the same for the US Cellular variant as its quite slow with updates, im still on MM albeit April 1 security update.
Thanks
No help?
AT&T and T-Mobile are both GSM carriers. US Cellular is CDMA so you would be better off trying to flash a Verizon firmware and I am not even sure you could do that.

i understand that but thats just an LTE band issue. the phone works happily on Tmobile. Its closest relative is a Sprint Note 5 but i dont want to flash Sprint firmware, i want to have Tmobile firmware on it cos im Tmobile.
I have unlocked att note 9 running U1 firmware on tmobile. I've been told I'm missing certain bands on tmobile by doing this? I know I'm missing video calling which doesn't really matter to me but I wonder what else I'm missing?
(please advise)
What is the best method for changing CSC from at&t to Tmobile? Thanks in advance.
