I haven't heard of anyone having success trying to flash OEM firmwares like that. You might try flashing the C model CSC to your device.

The firmware has nothing to do with your internal storage space, all note 5's are 32 or 64gb. You don't need to repartition any of your drives, that would probably just brick it. Can you send me a private message? I'll see if I can help you.

change from SM-N920K to SM-N920(?)

Guys, so I'm getting my Note 5 finally
The problem is that I'm getting an SM-N920K model. It's from olleh.com and embedded with preinstalled stuff and a logo of the operator when I turn the phone on.
What can be done to get rid of this? I didn't find and stock rom that is suitable for sm-n920k version. Is it possible to change from n920k to n920C or n920i that have stock versions?
Thank you!
No i dont think so... S/K/T these are korean variants. May b someone make a custom kernel then it works...
Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
If I could find, at least, a clean stock version...
Well u can check website bbs.gfan.com it has all korean roms

Nem-al10 3gb ram 32 gb

Hi experts,
I have ordered NEM-AL10 3GB RAM 32 GB version and I live in France. Apparently, the b20 800 MHz lte is not supported. Is it an hardware limitation of this model? If not, is it possible to flash an européen Rom?
Any help appreciated...

dont try to flash any other region rom as it may cause bootloops.
you should report the band issue to honor website as they may release an ota to fix it

This means that it's not an hardware limitation. Can you confirm that ?

Since it don't support b20 this means the radio modem in is different than the ones that support b20, it is hardware related unfortunately
I haven't received my Honor 5c NEM-AL10 3GB RAM 32 GB. I think I can live without LTE B20, but:
- Can the phone be switched into french language ?
- Is the Google PlayStore installed on it ?
Thanks for your answers.

Yeah, but it's always better when the parcel remains untouched...
Honor should have left the fingerprint sensor on the european model of 5c.... <sight>

I recently bought the NEM-AL10 3GB from fasttech (non-european shop)
I could change (most of) the language after a factory reset (Changing Android language did not change EMUI language before resetting). However, some of the pre-installed apps (browser etc.) cannot be uninstalled without root and remain (partly) in chinese.
One of those apps is the Huawei App Store... So no Play Store installed by default. But you can install the PlayStore additionally.
Up to now, I was not able to root the phone to uninstall the pre-installed chinese apps - let me know if there is a solution.

Thanks for your reply.
However, the Guide (from what Druger said and from my experience) seems to work only for the 16GB/2GB version, not for the 32/3GB.
At least, flashing custom recovery did not work as intended (got bootloop, and had to flash stock recovery).
Might be because its an asian phone, though.

Nope: it's a different model (hence -N- instead of -F-)
Why didn't you buy the SM-N950F ?

i bought it from South Korea, the 256Gb unlocked version. Now just trying to debrand it.
If you're worried about bloat, I'd suggest BK Disabler from the PlayStore or if you are more comfortable, ADB.
Alternately, I am inclined to agree with @henklbr; a F branded Note would give you root and less bloat.
Not sure where you guys got that idea, it is quite possible to flash different firmware between similar models. You can indeed flash different CSC as well, assuming it is ported for the new phone so that the flash doesn't mess up any partiotions.
Please don't spread misinformation just because you don't know how things work or how to do something.

i'm in a similar boat. I bought the N950N Korean variant 256gb model but i live in australia and they werent selling that variant here. I want to flash the N950F (australian non carrier firmware). its downloading now but not sure if it will work, i will report back here. I dont have positive hopes though since that rom is for 64gb models im not sure if it will mess the partitions for my 256gb model. it will be interesting to know if anyone has been successful before

I'm in the same situation, I wanna change csc to turn off camera shutter sound and use Samsung pay in my country.

Odin won't let you flash it but you can use Odin to flash TWRP, and then use TWRP to flash a zip of a 950F ROM.
