(Question) Honor View 10 Monochrome Sensor

Hello folks!
I wonder if it is possible to capture videos with the Monochrome Sensor of the View 10 ? I tried a lot, but never got any results. And because i am really bad in coding, maybe one of you has an answer to this problem ? The Monochrome sensor has a really good image quality and if we could use the 20 mPxl of it for Monochrome Videos with bokeh it would be awesome!
I can choose monochrome in camera options. Is it just the monochrome sensor or both?
you can select monochrome in camera. it works well with photo but cannot shoot videos in monochrome.

Discussion 40MP vs 10MP photos

Hi guys,
I have just got the phone on Monday and I noticed that default setting for the camera is to take photos in 10 megapixels mode.
Is there any advantage of 10mp over 40mp mode that is available? What are differences?
I personally noticed that 40MP photos are darker and I need to hold my phone more steady than when taking them in 10MP resolution.
I attached 2 identical photos. The darker one is 10MP, the brighter one, little more blurry is 40MP
40MP option does not allow you to zoom. Only 1x

No real benefit. It uses pixel binning to downscale from 40mp to 10mp so essentially they end up the same quality
For quick snap or share I use the default Photo mode with 10 MP. If the photo will be used for web or print - then I use PRO mode + RAW format. RAW image from the main sensor is always is 40 MP - It does not depend on the resolution you choose.
RAW image + Lightroom edit + export is the best option for crisp and great quality photos.

That's true. If you're planning on shooting raw and editing yourself this is an instance where 40mp makes much more sense.
See men basically in well lit condition 10mp will take 9ver exposed pictures and 10 mp is for darker scenarios and 40mps use in day-time
Uooer image shot on 10mp u can see blue floor and red
Picture below is well balanced
I use 40 mp in when there is enough light, i prefer it for the more natural color and because I find 10mp over exposed
And I use 10 mp in low light condition

How to enable zoom in 48mp mode

Is there any way to enable zoom in 48mp mode in stock camera. Its a waste not to have zoom at that resolution
No, & will never have.
You're getting the final image as 48MP so can zoom inside that all you want & good for editing later on.
Doesn't zooming in on regular camera mode switch from camera lens to other camera lens?
So, it basically switches to 48Mp lens when you zoom 2x?
Edit: it does. Lower lens is for 0.6x, and middle lens is for 1x and 2x. Same lens is for 48mp. Upper lens is probably focus lens. Try choosing mode and covering lens with your finger, and you'll see which is which.

Upper lens is 2x Zoom. But only used in good lighting conditions. Otherwise the 48MP Camera is used
Can you explain better?
When i try to zoom in the 2x camera, still the 8 mp camera, dosen't change to the 48 mp camera, i can only use the 48 mp camera on portrait mode ou in pro mode, and on the pro mode the 48 mp camera is named "telephoto". I don't know... There's any chance to this happen beacuse of any software problem?

Front Camera (selfie) blurry - Any way to fix?

Hi. I bought a P30 Pro and I have a problem with blurry front camera.
All selfies, doesnt matter if in Portrait Mode, Photo Mode, with/without bokeh effect, all photos are just blurry.
Is there any way to fix this?
Rear camera is great, but the front is just.. just bad!
EDIT:
I have a P20 Pro too. When I hold phones at like 30cm, P20 Pro takes much better/sharper photos.
When I take photos at like 30cm+, P30 Pro is much clearer. Is there really no chance for sharp "close-up" photos?
Thanks!
Unfortunately not. The P30 Pro has a fixed focal length front camera. This means, that the images will be only perfectly sharp at a certain distance i think its about 50-60cm (arm length). Hope this helps!
There's a guide for selfies available...

Question Zoom in 108mp camera

Hello,
I want to know is there any mod/app etc which can be used to zoom in while taking photos from 108mp camera?
The default Miui camera allows zooming up to 2x in 108 MP mode.
Though bear in mind it's more or less pointless to use zoom in 108 MP mode, since all it does is just crop and upscale the image, you're not getting any improvement in quality.
