Battery exchange on Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 via back cover - Galaxy Tab S2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it possible to perform a battery exchange on Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 via back cover? I would like to leave the screen alone. Is the cable from battery to main board unpluggable after opening the back cover of the Galaxy Tab S8 8.0?

Help: Shutdowns Galaxy tab!!

Hello
I think my Galaxy tab battery calibrated is messy! because When I charge the Galaxy tab below the 40%, off automatically! When I turn it on, off again after the Samsung logo. But when I charged the device does not have this problem. Of course, sometimes over 40% of the battery, this happens!
(also I've done the battery wipes, but no avail.)
How is the problem?
Who can help me?
There is a thread about opening up the tab and disconnect the battery for a while and connecting it back.
Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA
I tried this but had no effect!!
GT-P1000 suddenly switching off when battery is not empty (40% in my case). Must be some sort of hardware battery controller problem. Had this issue until yesterday. Openned the tab and disconnected battery as per youtube video. Connected it back after several minutes. Now problem is gone and tab is running perfectly.

[SOLVED]Galaxy Tab doesn't charge (had 0% before I tried)

Hello. I have old devices box and I tried to fired up Galaxy Tab (last time I put tablet in the box with 20% left, so today it's without any % in battery). I connected cable to charger, but I still see black screen. I tried couple of things, but nothing worked. Maybe someone has a advise? I not have original Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 charger, so I'm using from Galaxy Note.
[SOLVED] First my charger was with 1A. Everything is good with 2A charger.

Samsung tab 3 keeps turning off, recommendations ??

I have a Samsung tab 3 8.0 but after going through airport security coming back my device had to be scanned twice by the airline as it was in my bag and ever since it has acted up.
My device battery is failing and the only way i can boot up my device is to take the back off and disconnect the battery and reconnect it.
It has died out several times since so was thinking is there a long term solution or is it worth getting a new battery for as i have had it for many years.
Do you have any recommendations for a new Samsung tab with a screen at least 8 inch and easily modified to remove bloatware.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 - Charging port repair or charge battery without the usb port?

Looks like the charging port for Tab S2(Model SM-T710) is broken and battery is drained.
I wasn't able to open the front of the tablet as in most YouTube video's(see #1) but was able to open the back of the tablet relatively easily(See #2)

Now the question is, is it possible to charge the battery without the charging port?

You might try Samsung Fast Charge Wireless Pad. It's not using thee connector for charging. Not sure about the support for tablets, but here is what they claim:
Fast Charge Support
Galaxy Note5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ are compatible with wireless Fast Charge technology. Other devices will charge at standard wireless charging speeds.
Good luck!

USB port is the entry point to supply current to battery. There is no point to change the battery when the USB port is broken.
This model, you have to remove the LCD assembly and frame in order to access and replace the USB port.
Paramount!!

Sorry to revive old thread - but if you want to change the motherboard do you have to remove the front screen or back cover? thanks
According to the videos you have to remove the display (front) because all screws are screwed through the front. Speaking of intelligent engineers at work. *sigh
